I thought all conferences had been consigned to horrific death by order of the state?. Tony will be pissed.

Is this a paid advertisement?
[DPF: No. They sent me details and I decided that some blog readers could be interested in it]

Will it be cost efficient, and can I get a grant?

How does ‘social’ marketing differ from ordinary marketing?

David, ARE YOU MAD? It costs at least $750 to attend just one element. To attend both elements, it cost $1250! http://www.marketingnow.co.nz/?q=content/pricing. After Tony Ryall’s actions against that MoH conference (at a cost of only a few hundred bucks each), I can’t see very many government departments sending anyone to it. In that light, it’s strange to say the least that these Merkins chose Wellington as the venue.
Also, I note it’s all about making more sales out of involvement in social media. Expect to see amore NZ companies attempting to pay bloggers to mention things, without the bloggers declaring such payment. I hope all ethical bloggers take a strong position on such blandishments.
That conference should be called ‘Turning Social Media Commercial’.
