As for GOH … your posts are getting more surreal each day. So what was your advice to Ms King (you know, your beloved Deputy Leader of EFA Fame) re the drags found in her Ministerial car after her daughter crashed it and how do you spell hypocrite.

Paula’s daughter is going to university, so lets give her the benefit of the doubt.

Paula would admit to making mistakes in her life, but she did not absolve responsibility of her daughter and by trying to do right by her daughter and grand daughter shows courage. In spite of what we think of him, Halaholo is still youbg enough to change his ways and take responsibility for his daughter. While it may suck to be Paula Bennet or Paul Holmes in this situation, you cannot pick and choose your family and you cannot always be accountable for the choice of partner your children will make. However you have to support your family through both good and bad, otherwise your children will seek out the false family of a gang.

No one interfared with Halaholo’s judicial process. He will not reform unless he wants to. Perhapse the love of a real family will help motivate him. If Paula was not part of this process, then quite frankly she should not be the minister of social development.

As one of the tax payers who paid the DPB bill for Bennett to raise her gang slut I can say categorically; yes, I am disappointed. This investment didn’t pay the dividend me and the rest of the tax payers were hoping for.

With the benefit of hindsight, with the exorbitant costs that I have paid into this investment in Paula’s case in mind and with a view towards the massive ongoing costs of raising Paula’s slut daughter’s bastard and incarcerating and dole-paying her gang-member father, I’d like to cancel this investment. Please;

-Repay all the welfare Paula scoffed raising her gang mole daughter.
-Deport Halaholo and its family of welfare guzzlers and violent criminals back to wherever they came from.
-Sterilise Paula and he daughter to avoid further DPB pregnancies.
-Adopt out the granddaughter in the hope that it can be raised to become a productive individual rather than a Bennett criminal/welfare recipient.

Paula Bennet had Halaholo at her home trying to knock some sense into him before he got killed by an enraged victim of his crimes. Mrs Cameron only tried to redeem her son after he was killed. Her actions are reactionary. Its a total lack of respect for the law abiding community. She should have been out looking for him stopping him from vandalising people’s property in the first place. She should have taken responsibility for her son before he got himself killed. All due respect to Mr Emeury, another place and another time it would have been me, or half the other bloggers on this site taking his place. What if a Middle aged woman had taken his place? Mrs Cameron would have looked even more the fool.

That’s pretty weak, Phil. How “decent” of you to throw mud, then sit back with a smug grin and try to claim the moral high-ground! Either you don’t mention Bradford’s kids at all, or you are in the dirt with the Herald/SS Times … there isn’t a middle ground you can sit on here.

Anyway – what’s with all the reluctance about casting stones at the parenting skills of others? Only yesterday the General Debate thread was clogged full of people damning Pihama Cameron’s mother for her alleged lack of supervision/control over her child. Where are all you folks now? Do white, National MPs get a free pass when their kids go off the rails? Why aren’t you all clamoring to go up to Paula Bennett’s house and smack some sense into her daughter? F-ing hypocrites, the lot of you.

See, us rightwingers are all too decent to say. I personally feel like I have already demeaned myself enough by even mentioning it, and don’t want to say any more. But warm thanks to everyone who has given me the positive karma, I sweated a bit about saying even as much as I did.

Paula Bennett is sticking by her daughter and her choice of partner and that is understandable. I think some grace on the public’s part is called for in this very messy situation.

Holmes is no ‘tough love’ parent. He gave this child untold money so she did not have to work, and set her up in her own apartment for heaven’s sake. She had far too much money and free time – a deadly combination.

I don’t know what the answer is, but Paul Holmes self-righteousness is hardly part of the solution. He should look to his own self.

But of course you are never wrong, you’re a socialist. Thanks for the state of the country, the economy, our youth violence and general all round well being resulting from all your good ideas.

Please go and help some other society now. I hear the Martians could use your lbieral white guilt hand wringing ideas this week.

As long as Bennett continues to reserve her lack of judgment for her children and does her job well (and doesn’t expect me to like, sympathise, support or accept the scum) I can’t see a problem.

You can only wonder what this young woman finds in that savage. Neither brains nor intellectual appeal, for sure.
