Parliament 11 February 2009

Question One and Goff is wasting it on attacking the Government for wanting accountability from the Otago District Health Board over the $17 million fraud. They must think this is the equivalent of the Hawkes Bay DHB issue, but I think they will find less public sympathy for a Board that has such lax systems the fraud continued for so many years.
Oh Q3 was fun – Labour were asking why Bill Englih did not release the Treasury incoming briefing earlier, and he replied:
The Labour Party complaining about compliance with the OIA is like Jack the Ripper complaining about community violence.
Heh.

Yes very amusing.
However I will say one more time, we’re not paying them to be bloody entertainment!

Question 11 in the name of Parekura Horomia…..
Fuck me!…I need a wide screen TV to watch the question being asked.

Trevor Mallard is not dealing with being in opposition well at all, he looks like a bitter and twisted little man who needs to calm down lest he suffer a heart attack.

big bruv “Question 11 in the name of Parekura Horomia…..
Fuck me!…I need a wide screen TV to watch the question being asked.”
No doubt and subtitles to understand what he’s blabbering on about!
February 11th, 2009 at 3:54 pm
Blabbering or Blubbering?
Either way, it sure looks like Pare has spent the entire Holiday break eating.
February 11th, 2009 at 4:15 pm
You loathe fatties big bruv? Maori fatties?
February 11th, 2009 at 4:31 pm
Chris Finlayson is tearing the Labour party apart in one of the most witty speeches I have heard for some time, he seems to have reserved special dislike for Chavel and Parker.
Excellent stuff.
February 11th, 2009 at 4:34 pm
And if you guys want a really good laugh don’t miss the maiden speech from Green party nutbar Catherine Delahunty at 5pm.
February 11th, 2009 at 4:42 pm
I enjoyed Parakura’s contribution yesterday in response to reports that Anne Tolley had been prime minister for a week and from memory had commented on how busy the job had been. He said that he had been prime minister for 6 days one year and that he had managed to do it from the beach at Tologa Bay. There is never a camera around when you need one.
February 11th, 2009 at 4:51 pm
My god…that women Delahunty is certifiably mad.
She is sexist, racist and the epitome of the sickly white liberal, it seems that Parliament has a new “hater and wrecker” in its midst.
February 11th, 2009 at 5:05 pm
Has anyone else noticed how ineffective Goff is? The House performance has been hopeless both days.
He was dribbling on the radio first thing this morning about god knows what. In fact he dribbles on so much that I instantly switch off…He’s over exposed already, but then…do we care?
February 11th, 2009 at 8:19 pm
first time caller ,,
It’s a great plan though. THe left wing media are looking for ammunition from Goff and he got none.
Let him rant until his hot air runs out, esp this time of year. BS smells worse in this heat!
February 11th, 2009 at 8:19 pm
Yesterdays man is looking more like yesterdays man every day that goes past.
If he were a dog I would put him out of his misery.
Beware of the ‘Knives of Cunliffe’ (and its only February).

Here’s Delahunty’s speech.

So loathsome.
There are some creeps in the Greens for sure, but they don’t come much creepier than this dipshit. Whatever is this utterly repugnant nutbar doing in parliament??
For christ’s sake, surely there is some kind of minimum standard.
February 11th, 2009 at 8:47 pm
I know folks who vote Green because, setting aside the uber-socialists, communists, druggies and assorted weirdos, they support re-cycling. Now I support re-cycling, but in Delahunty’s case I’d make an exception: Straight to the dump.
February 11th, 2009 at 9:31 pm
Holy cow Delahunty is a nut-case. You have to read that speech to believe it. I think it’s a parody of itself. I really do.
February 11th, 2009 at 9:33 pm
What the fuck is this woman on? “Temporarily Able Bodied?” What fucking madness is this? Please excuse the colourful language, but this woman is a first grade nutjob, and the more airtime she gets the better. My god, she makes Nandor look like a moderate!
Is Rod Donald spinning in his grave?

SR – that means someone for whom employment is a bit inconvenient, but they haven’t yet found time to pop down to a doctor to sort their sickness benefit entitlement.

I thought that Parliament TV would be boring given it is not an election year, man was I wrong!.
Watching Labour take a hammering and watching Cullen becoming increasingly bitter and twisted as each day passes is pure entertainment.
