So the UN circle turns 360 degrees and Labour try and foist, (another) teacher, career bureaucrat and non-resident onto the citizens of Mt Albert.

I congratulate you on being the first to disclose the situation which I am sure that the other political journalists also read. That the media did not follow up on it probably had more to do with their own political ego and left wing philosophy.

All dpf did was state the obvious, that judith would return given the twyford scenario.

If anything, labour should hire dpf!! Pay him 100k a year to give the odd bit of advice ha ha. Although, now labour can no longer steal taxpayer money , and have insulted major donors, so what to do?

Why did the journalists not pick this up earlier?

I have to say, the standard of investigative journalism in this country is not too flash.

Sure, they’re good at reporting the headlines, but in depth analysis is often lacking.

The upcoming media jobs slash ‘n burn will probably not make much difference either, assuming they prune mediocre staff first.

The other labour prospects I have met for Mt Albert certainly look good.

You guys keep with the storylines you like to believe though.

Reason number 551 to ditch MMP.

A preferred candidate is not selected to keep a different person out. Makes no sense what-so-ever except to political junkies.
