In the new sprit of cross party support maybe John Key can give Judith Tizard a cabinet position when she gets back into parliament. Minister of Arts and Culture anyone?

Evidently ‘Le Tizard’ doesn’t appreciate that when one’s powerful ‘friend’ (who put where you are to remove you from her ‘inner circle’) is no longer powerful, the dynamics change – especially as said (ex-very best) friend doesn’t particulalry care for you anyway.

Sorry Judith, Helen is no longer here to protect you and reality IS hard isn’t it?

I’m sure that Winze will be able to find you a nice soul-destroying job – so that you know what it’s like in the ‘rea’l world – the one you and your mates worked so hard to destroy.

(And the sad thing in all this? Ms Tizard doesn’t even realise that nobody cares any more and that she is totally, completely and utterly expendable – just like Winston! Funny that. . . )

david – I don’t know if the House is sitting next week, but it will certainly recess over Easter and the school holidays. Buy the time the House resumes, she will be living it up in New York. There may well be a valedictory speech today or tomorrow, and there’s quite possibly a notice of motion today recognising her appointment.

So what are the rules about Hulun naming a date for her resignation???

Does she actually have to resign before she takes up her new role or can she quietly double dip for a bit? Its not like she has been a significant contributor to the Parliament since November so won’t really be missed.

It will also be interesting to see if the valedictory occurs or will she quietly slip away like a thief in the night.?

Well said , Manolo. The wisdom of your own little life is a beacon to all non achievers. 90% of those in parliament achieve very little. Franks come to mind. he too is desperate to get back, changing parties like they were smelly socks.
