We arrived at the position we are currently in through democracy, nothing more nothing less, you’d be seriously deluded to think it would come out any other way second time around. Unless of course you get your totalitarian way of either only redbaiters approved voters being allowed to vote, or only redbaiter approved candidates to vote for.

I’m asking a serious question here, how do you think that this country as it is will end up coming to any other conclusion?

Under normal circumstances I would agree with you, however, we simply do not have the time to muck around given the dire state of the worlds (and our) economy.

I have said it before, Neville Key needs to trust the people of NZ, he needs to spell out the crap that we are in, lay the blame squarely on the shoulders of Cullen and Clark and then list the measures we are going to have to take to fix the problem.

Cutting WFF, getting rid of interest free student loans and slashing the benefits of long term dole bludgers (Jan Molenaar anybody?) and getting rid of the DPB is just a start.

If Bob is talking about Lynne losing her seat then no. He was the campaign manager for David Cunliffe who kept his seat and won the party vote in the New Lynn electorate.

There is no such position as Chair of West Auckland Labour. Strategic decisions tend to be made by Head Office.

However, the strategy may be not to frighten the horses, and to deny the left any ammunition. You’ve got to admit that re-structuring the political playing field in NZ is something that would have to be done gradually and gently especially when 1) the voting system is so perverted by welfarism and 2) the mainstream media are so corrupt.

It seems that a few labour politicians get more rightwing with age. It must be something to do with the diminution of their intellectual capabilities.
