With all the furore over patently fraudulent Parliamentary expenses in the UK, and the EU.

Has to be asked, could, would, is the same happening here?

Hope that the expenses here, are to be as transparent as the reforms promised in GB

The funniest thing on the radio today.

Annette King, worrying about the number of bureaucrats that are needed for the new boy racer laws. The irony, this coming from labour whose apparent goal was to employee everyone.

Secondly , doesn’t Phil Goff come across as a gormless figure? He is so predictably boring. Naturally he is condemning slash and burn budgets. Yawwwwnnnn!! Maybe he is referring to the dumping of labours million dollar “safe dog patting” campaign (this is absolutely true)?

Certainly labour were looking after the people. So much so, we were on the short path to bankruptcy.

Seems Sue Bradford lied her ass off when she said her bill was about protecting kids toad. The kids keep on dying and she keeps on smiling.

If we want someone to give lessons in honesty it wont be from within the ranks of the green party you can be sure.

Good to see you link to an interesting article Inventory2.

But which part do you disagree with? That English and Key promised tax cuts no matter what, that they said that Labour cannot be trusted to introduce tax cuts, that National are now resiling from the promise to cut taxes?

So do you think that we can trust the Nats?

It is a shame that the Fair Trading Act does not apply to politicians. If it did Key and co would be in considerable trouble.

Yes all hail mickey for his wisdom in pointing out to us that NATIONAL are dishonest because Cullen and Clark were able to hide just how badly they screwed the economy even better than anyone expected. Which by the way is actually illegal.

We clearly should trust socialists more.

Hint to the left, you might want to get your hand OFF the “honesty” lever for a bit. In case you missed it you were caught with your hands in the cookie jar so often that you got pink slipped recently. You’re sthrengths are lies and inuendo but playing to them as a tactic blew up in your faces.

Try something different for a bit, start with saying opps, we screwed up. If nothing else the novelty of it will be entertaining.

Did you read my blogpost on Rudman’s breathless “expose” micky? Lefties are welcome at Keeping Stock, and we’ve never had the need to ban anyone or moderate comments, unlike that bastion of the labour movement which you frequent. If you did, you’ll see that we commented on Rudman’s failure to mention an $11billion turnaround in the Crown accounts since the last budget. Then again, if Rudman was honest about that, it would kill the f=effect of his story. Which is precisely why we pointed that out 🙂

National were told what state the economy was in and they based their plans on that. Cullen outright lied while pissing away money as fast as he could. Opening the books was a holy shit moment without peer. If I owed you a hundred bucks and you made a commitment based on that then I didn’t give it to you does that make you dishonest?

English cannot give away money that isn’t there even if he was told it was. Thats called being a moron. Now if you think that you get some political milage by claiming that he failed to deliver on a promise, when the reality is that socialists lied cheated and FUCKED our economy for the bloody fun of it then you’re about as stupid as a human being can be without being life support.

By far and away the bulk of New Zealanders are fully aware of what has happened and the commies can sit in their little echo chambers and chuckle darkly about damn clever they are but the rest of are accepting the reality.

Cullen lied, English is cleaning up the skid marks left behind. Deal with it.

And by the way, there is no “we”. If spent as much time kicking Key as I did Clark. Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups.

NoCash- it was possible beforehand. Most countries including NZ allow for 20-25% of a company to be purchased by a foreign interest without needing approval. The idea is that this mark represents a controlling interest (not a majority interest). So, a lot of companies end up selling equity at say 20% or 25% or 49% to escape the various thresholds triggering Government intervention.

Such direct investments do at least, provide an offset on the current account deficit.

I see that California has decided to ban gay “marriages”, they will let the 18,000 “couples” have have been married in the last two years retain their married status however no more same sex marriages will be allowed.

The weakness of the boy racer laws are clearly that it leaves the crushing of the vehicle to the discretion of the Judge. That does indeed make it a farce and the Minister should be well aware of that, for the road scum most certainly will be. The law as proposed will be another strung out bonanza for the Legal Aid fraternity with delays and adjournments and appeals. It would have been a simp-le matter to make the crushing a compulsory requirement of a 3rd conviction and spare the judge the agony of deciding whether another final warning and 50 hours Community Service wouldn’t be a better option.

Far from ‘saving’ money, this is the reality of what happens when income does not meet outgoings. Cotton-wool clad chardonnay socialists – like the ones who write this crap – believe that endless cash flows from, well, um, somewhere… and any attempt to limit it’s wonderful visitation on the needy is simply rich-pick greed. I don’t have the figures on hand, but California’s financial woes are almost certainly due to a massive drop is state tax take which hasn’t been matched by a drop in expenses.
