I managed to get across the problem to a Christian friend of mine – who oftened use the word “gay” as a generic term for things that are a bit shit – by referring to anything that was a bit shit as “Christian”.

Like, “Oh, you’re reading Twilight? That’s so Christian.”

And, “You got a flat tyre? Oh, Christian.”

He caught on remarkably quickly.

On a more serious note, I have just discovered what the greens are trying to implement in our schools.

The US State Department has refused to rescind invitations for Iranian government officials to attend American independence day celebrations taking place at the Swiss (I believe) embassy on July 4th.
