Whoops Add this story to Scoopit!.

On Wednesday evening at Backbenches various Young Labour members were very excited, telling everyone who would listen that Melissa Lee had parked her car on a disabled parking spot.

This was then given more publicity by Trevor Mallard who blogged at Red Alert:

Melissa in Disabled Park?

Just stupid. Can two days pass without her cocking up?

Remember she is John Key’s handpicked candidate.

Both lack judgement.

The post has now been struck through. Why?

Well Melissa did not park there. She took a taxi to Backbenches. The car was a supporter’s car. The supporter is disabled and had his disability card displayed in the windscreen – something that anyone could have easily checked. Egg. Face. Ouch.

The comments thread at Red Alert is quite amusing and worth a read.

    Remember the new craze, everyone.

Reserve judgement until you hear all the facts.

It’s gonna be hotter than Pokemon.

  2. Nigel7 (13) Says:

Very excited? More like a frenzy.

  3. Poliwatch (146) Says:

Add to this that Paul Henry on TVNZ were quite happy to make a lot of fun of the story on Breakfast the following morning. I think he got the news from Guyon. It now appears they did not check their “facts”. Just proves that Breakfast TV is all about entertainment and nothing about news. Further evidence again was Oliver Driver’s silly panel question time on TV3 this morning.

  4. Whafe (366) Says:

You would have to say its been “A C%&$ of a week for Labour”

  5. Poliwatch (146) Says:

Wharfe – I would agree but people like Mallard know that when you do this most people will hear the original story and far fewer the actual facts – partly because the media are far more interested in doing the original story than the follow up and partly because people just like to hear the former story and turn off to the second.

He knows you can’t fool all the people all the time but all you need to do is fool some of the people some of the time.

So Mallard knew that whatever the true facts, his story would be worth so many votes tomorrow – dishonest on his part but would you expect anything else.

  6. Bevan (1797) Says:

Disgusting behaviour, the right thing to do is apologise – but I wont hold my breath!

  7. georgedarroch (283) Says:

There are a few who delight in the downfall of others. They should take a long hard look at themselves, because things tend to come around in a small place like NZ.

@poliwatch – Paul Henry getting excitable over a trivial matter? No, you’ve got to be joking!

  8. Whafe (366) Says:

Poli – Mallard is like the vast majority of leftie labour peeps……

  9. Bok (740) Says:

The problem is that Mallard is simply a product of the previous regime. He is a bully and a coward.
he loves picking on women or taking a swing at people when they expect rational and adult behavior.
The problem for spineless weasels like Mallard, is that we can now access things people have said in parliament or what they have done in public, so much easier. His boorish behavior in the house re: Brash is every indication of the man. And I use the term man very liberally.

  10. Glutaemus Maximus (2207) Says:

    Bok – Bravo!!

  11. RightNow (607) Says:

Premature ejaculation seems to be an increasing problem for the left.

  12. Jack5 (1506) Says:

God forbid that blowhard Mallard ever becomes a Labour Prime Minister. Mallard as PM would rival North Korea’s crazy Kim as the world’s most precipitate, erratic leader.

  13. Don the Kiwi (336) Says:

Mallard would be no better than Goof.

    Ideal cell mates really.

  14. Banana Llama (677) Says:

  15. Patrick Starr (3499) Says:

It fascinates me the Mallard has chosen to use the word ‘Stupid’ to describe Melissa Lee.
Now I’m not making excuses for the inappropriateness of some of her comments, but given that Asian directness I can understand how inoffensive she may have believed they were –
but Mallard, the ex school teacher and unionist has chosen to use the word “STUPID”
Here is a man who has sucked off the public tit all his life, when the best he did outside parliament was a fucken school teacher.
Mallard calls this sucessful and wealthy TV Producer “ Stupid.” ?

This is from the same coward who wanted to insert a beer bottle into “uncomfortable places” of international rugby union officials
The same muck raker with the the Don Brash “Affairs”. The same idiot who punched Tau from behind.
    STUPID?

  16. lilman (145) Says:

Mallard, what can I say about the man.

1.Was part of the liar squad that stole public money then lied about its use, then changed the law to cleanse themselves.

    2.Was second rate teacher.

3.Was Minister in Govt that decimated rural schools then said they were wrong, trying to save their skins.

4.Was at the fore of the Brash affair,a true labour gentleman.

5.Assaulted TAU in the foyer of parliment, well done for constraint.

6.knowingly lied about Mellisa Lee and the funding affair on her tv firm and then denied her a retraction.

Could we please expect his future wouldnt be as leader, because we need more liars in positions of power like another hole in the head.

  17. OECD rank 22 kiwi (2143) Says:

The left once again demonstrating what stupid morons they are. Just as well they got booted out of office last year.

  18. Murray M (455) Says:

Trevor we know you are reading this. Your conduct towards Melissa Lee has been absolutely despicable. You are a bully, a coward, a tit sucker, and a total shit-for-brains. The guys that assaulted John Key only got community service, I’d gladly do community service for the opportunity to wipe the smug look off your fuckpig face.

[DPF: And 20 demerits for fuckpig]

[DPF: Actually 50 demerits in total as you actually have threatened assault]

  19. 3-coil (671) Says:

Trev. Almost as stupid as Obama’s boy Joe Biden calling for the poor guy in the wheelchair to “stand up! – so we can all see you”.

    Pathetic…but priceless.

  20. Glutaemus Maximus (2207) Says:

” I’d gladly do community service for the opportunity to wipe the smug look off your fuckpig face.”

He will hit you first Murray! Self Defence after that. The Yellow Streak runs deep in Brutus ‘the Brutal Duck’

I would be quite happy for him to assault me repeatedly, until I had to FULLY defend myself.

The pussy would never front up. He only ever can sneak up behind people like some kiddie pantomine baddie.

    “He’s Behind You!”

Go on Trevor, who are you going to creep up on next?

  21. side show bob (2168) Says:

This bullshit is further proof that the left have slipped a gear. Such is their desperation to gain some traction in the poles. Shearer is the golden boy of the hour and nothing must be left to chance case he slip at the last moment. His moronic supporters in their fanatical zeal hope to hobble any opposition with crap like this . The bastards are running scared and are desperate to save face after their arse kicking in 08. What the stupid fools fail to comprehend is that the public despise them more everyday, long may they continue to be complete arseholes.

  22. Hump (25) Says:

Mallard adds new meaning to the word loathesome.
Let’s not forget that Phil Goff has embraced him with open arms. He endorsed the attack on Melissa Lee with the NZ on Air funding and no doubt thought this story about the handicapped parking was good copy.
Goff presents the “nice guy” image to the general public but is clearly as bitter and twisted as the rest of them.
They are all throwing shit at the Govt in the hope that some of it sticks. Keep digging away boys.. the public have moved on.

  23. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Poliwatch mentioned Breakfast – does anyone else watch the Young Guns segment, look at Jacinda Ardern and think of the goodie-two-shoes prefect at school who was forever dobbing people in?

  24. Rakaia George (313) Says:

    IV2, neigh! surely not!

  25. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Neigh? You’re not suggesting that she’s – ummm, ahhh – equine, are you RG?

  26. Komata (238) Says:

So where is the absolutely rabid media coverage of Mr Mallard’s blunder? You know what I mean – the word by word analysis and the shrieks of condemnation that would follow this if the accusations had been made by a National Party member?

    Where is it? Absolutely nowhere!

Should we be surprised? No, not really – the silence would seem to indicate that Dear Leader is still in control of the media and telling them what to do.

    Fascinating isn’t it?

Perhaps one day they will be really, really brave and actually investigate the Labour party. Yeah, right!

  27. Rakaia George (313) Says:

IV2 – I must admit, when I see her on the teev, I find myself checking my pockets for carrots and sugar lumps…

  28. paradigm (507) Says:

There’s a certain irony about accusing someone of “lacking judgement” when you publish unsubstantiated insinuations about someone. Especially when they turn out to be false.

But Twevor knows his place in the labour party. It’s the mud raker, the shin kicker. He knows that he will never advance any higher because dearly departed leader supplied him with filth and made him throw it around parliament while she was not in attendance. And when you throw around crap, it sticks to your hands: no matter how hard you try to wash them they will never be clean. Twevor knows this in his heart. And so he continues throwing effluent around, because its all he’s able to do. The irony is he’s not even that good at it, as this latest caper reveals.

  29. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

RG – that’s GOLD mate, pure gold :-)

  30. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

paradigm – I wonder if Trevor will ever live down the slur against Julian Robertson – Don Brash’s supposed “American bagman” – the same Julian Robinson who has made the most gracious and generous donation of artworks – despite Mallard and his cronies. That is class, and it is something which Mallard, Goff, Cunliffe and co will NEVER have.

  31. Murray M (455) Says:

RG, I very rarely laugh, thanks mate.

  32. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Murray – I fair cracked up when I read the “carrots and sugar lumps” bit too!

  33. Rich Prick (238) Says:

Labour would be welcome at any sperm bank with so many premature shots being fired.

  34. philu (7206) Says:

    “..RG, I very rarely laugh,.”

    yeah..

    ..we could believe that..

    ..(a head turner..?..)

    ..fit/hale/hearty..?

    ..i dunno..

  35. Murray M (455) Says:

20 demerits on one post and now 50 demerits on this one. Jeez David I’m not having a good night, but it’s your blog so again, fair enough :) How many until I am struck off?
In my defence at least I have warned Trev, I don’t think Trev’s victims have been shown the same courtesy.

  36. Murray M (455) Says:

phil I guess if I was content to live of someone else’s labour and smoked as much dope as you do I would be permanently grinning like an idiot. I choose to do neither of those things because if nothing else I have respect for myself.

  37. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Amen to that Murray – you only have to look at Philip Ure’s full-stop filled rantings to know that Nandor had it all wrong, and long-term cannabis use does damage the brain.

  38. Rich Prick (238) Says:

IV2, I couldn’t understand a word of what, is it phil, had to say. I have re-read it and its still total gibberish. How old he?

  39. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

RP – I think he’s in his 40’s – old enough anyway for the dope to have taken its toll.

  40. Nomestradamus (2042) Says:

See Glubbster’s comment on that thread (can’t recall seeing that moniker recently):

Phillip Ure, I am going to go out on a limb here and pick you are 57..;)

Glubbster goes on to provide some interesting research…

You’d think Philu had better things to do than post comments like his last one above (9:41 pm).

  41. Trevor Mallard (161) Says:

DPF in the interests of interparty blogger co-operation is there any chance that you could refrain from linking to Red Alert and thereby at least keep the intellectual giants here where they are apparently welcome.

You do that and I promise not to post about you on the Cactus Whale sites.

  42. Trevor Mallard (161) Says:

And at the risk of being off topic are you happy with the way your demerit system works – would you be ok about it being copied, (ip and all that) and what are the triggers for longer suspensions?

Or would it be better for the tone of our site to moderate all comments from individuals after they have been offensive – obviously we are trying to build a place where there can be public debate on a wide range of policy issues rather than just straight politics.

[DPF: Very happy for the system to be copied. The longer suspensions are for repeat offenders - your first suspension is 1 week, the second one 2 weeks, the third one a month. It gives people an incentive to stop pushing the boundaries.

Important thing is to make clear they are a guideline only and you retain discretion.

Placing some people on moderation is not a bad system also, but you may need an extra plugin to do that]

  43. reid (3736) Says:

Trevor, the fact you’ve struke out rather than deleted the lie indicates questionable political propaganda.

Not trying to get around the election laws are we?

[DPF: Actually that is the correct thing to do when you make a wrong accusation - don't delete it as if it was never there, but show it has been retracted]

  44. TCrwdb (135) Says:

WTF did Philu say?? I’m sure it made sense to him through the drug haze.

    Oh, and Mallard – piss off, you’re a dick…

  45. Bok (740) Says:

Wow Trevor, That is rich is it not. You of all people, making snide remarks about intellectual giants. Let me just check again…
    1) Who shouted across the house about Diane..? Classy.
    2) Who accused one on NZ biggest art benefactors and indeed one of your parties contributers of being a bagman. That is stylish.
    3) Who thinks that physical violence in parliament is a good idea. We call that thuggish.

Just where do you get off the bus being high and mighty? You who think it manly or adult to threaten anal assault with beer bottles.
Wow. You did make that threat did you not?

But you see Mallard, you actually are lower than I have seen in a long time. You know why? Because you use “political cut and thrust” to hide your misogynistic xenophobia. Is it because she s a woman that is foreign and has actually achieved more than you in the real world that made you turn and jump all over Melissa Lee? Even before you had any facts.

And you call some of the posters here “intellectual giants”in your sneering tone? You know what Mallard. You are a two bit loser. I would trust just about any-one on this blog with my possessions, I would not trust you with a toy car.

Most of the guys here and all the women here has more integrity, more loyalty to NZ and more guts than you have ever shown. I would hate to ever go to war with you in my team.

But more than that most people here actually respect others, regardless of language used. You have shown yourself to be just a a pumped up joke. People like you have taken NZ from a place where people actually believed in and cared for each other, where people fixed things with number 8 wire and where you could leave your house unlocked, to a place where you can get assaulted by a minister within parliament buildings, where people can steal and change the law afterwards to get away with it, and where they can lie and cheat. Well done.

And you feel you have the right to be high and mighty? Wow your stupidity is only outstripped by your arrogance.

  46. Shunda barunda (868) Says:

People like Trevor don’t give a rats razoo about NZ Bok, its just a big ego centric game to them.
Trevor is about as kiwi as a mexican Fisher & paykel worker.

  47. Glutaemus Maximus (2207) Says:

Hi Trevor, fancy an intellect test?

I’d be quite happy to throw down the Gauntlet on that one.

Although I have always understood that teachers with a 2.2 normally have a chip on their shoulder.

  48. Christopher (402) Says:

And at the risk of being off topic are you happy with the way your demerit system works – would you be ok about it being copied, (ip and all that) and what are the triggers for longer suspensions?

Or would it be better for the tone of our site to moderate all comments from individuals after they have been offensive – obviously we are trying to build a place where there can be public debate on a wide range of policy issues rather than just straight politics.

DPF’s demerit system works, Mallard, because commenters here actually like DPF’s site and want to post here. So far as I can see, you are just another far left lunatic who would never dare to criticise his own party the way that DPF does frequently.

Worry less about the ‘tone of your site’ and more about the content you post.

Then again, the left are completely incapable of intellectual honesty, otherwise they wouldn’t be leftist, they would be liberal.

  49. Grizz (244) Says:

    Trevor,

Please show us that you are more than just a scaremongering, shit stirring bullshit artist by growing a pair, admitting that you were wrong and apologise to Ms Lee.

Sure Melissa has shown us how not to run a campaign, but you must admit that some of your accusations have been proven to be wrong. Show us that you are capable of being a real man and apologise to her.

  50. Tuija (214) Says:

Judging by the venal abuse that everyone here is giving Trev, It would be safe to assume that he pisses you all off. especially as he completely owned you with his “intellectual giants” comment.
    I like him more everyday

    Bravo Bok.

    That deserves 10 thumbs up.

It’s an absolute disgrace what those parasites have done to this country.

  52. Chicken Little (608) Says:

    Dear Trev

I’m sure DPF wouldn’t mind you adopting his demerits system for your blog – Red Alert. You really need to look at the model he uses though.

In all my years of perusing this site I have seen maybe 5 or 6 comments actually deleted. DPF leaves them up normally and just applies demerits, like Murrays comment above about beating you to a bloody pulp. If someone is being an idiot – it’s there for all to see.

Contrast that to the other (your) side of the political spectrum and we have, for example -

Idiot fella – no comments allowed as they may challenge his intellectual giantisim. – result – echo chamber

The Stranded – comments deleted, bannings handed out willynilly to perceived opponents, comments dissected by moderators ravings – result – echo chamber

Tumeke – comments censored, comments deleted, nothing allowed through that shows up the authors complete lack of intellectual giantism – result – echo chamber North Korean styles.

Are you seeing a pattern yet Trev?

On the thread linked to in this post you seem to be adopting bits of all three of the above echo chambers. Any guesses what the result will be?

Its possible that the authoritarian streak is just a symptom of left political thought. Whereas the right side of the spectrum is a little more open to opposing views and less in need of complete control.

There’s a reason why DPF has the number one, most popular, most diverse, most open blog in NZ, while blogs like those above follow in his wake hoovering up any crumbs and desperately trying to make themselves relevant.

That reason is that all comers are welcome to have their say. If they’re trolls then over a period they get demerited to the point of not being here any more.

In conclusion Trev – I’d suggest you adopt DPF’s model of inclusion and openness rather than the failing cul de sac model adopted your political brethren.

    cheers

    CL

  54. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Trevor – you could always copy Lynn Prentice’s approach to moderation at The Standard, which is to ban pretty much anyone who disagrees with their views after calling them wingnuts (as mickysavage does – funny that), f*ckwits or accusing them of inhabiting the Kiwiblog sewer. It’s classy stuff, I’m sure you’ll agree, but at least it guarantees The Standard a loyal and faithful readership, and it stifles dissent. It might, however, be stretching the truth to suggest that the readership there is of the “intellectual giant” variety.

I think that you’ll find DPF’s approach is a lot more liberal, which I guess is why his is the #1 blog in the land.

  55. lilman (145) Says:

QUESTION TREVOR-What does it take for you to have commitment?

As you have shown all and sundry you really are quite low in regards to having some sort of moral fairness in your daily life.

I dont like you, that is plainly obvious, but the way you deny, lie and try to bully people detracts from any political leanings I once had for your party.
Your stuck in a time warp, you need to move on in the words of your past leader ,because the country surely has.
To stick around because you dont have the courage to strike out on your own, turning your back on a income and saftey net provided by the state as a result of left leaning voters who at times must cringe at your antics and statements say volumes of your character.
Your voters deserve better, the problem is you wont see it coming and when you truly are left at the polls, what then?
Your time has come but then you never were one to have vision let alone political nouse.

So Trevor who decides what is offensive, now let me guess, any comment that demonises those on the left and their polices, would I be correct. As others have said at least David allows all to speak it’s a shame the same courtesy is not allowed on many of the left wing blogs. But I guess in their heart of hearts they realise their arguments will not stand up to a bit of criticism. It’s hard to have and a discussion when you will only allow one side of the argument to be heard.

  68. Tuija (214) Says:

Surely for you , far more politically edifying and intellectually stimulating would be to hang around , the standard, or just left, or I see red?
I realise that their high readership does make them slower to load and the thousands of comments there does tend to clutter up the pearls of wisdom and class that you do bring to the discussion.

We are certainly not up there in class when it comes to people like Trevor who king hits another person at work (Is that workplace assault? What a noble concept).

Why even Redbaiter has not yet come up with something that good. And D4J is still kicking himself for not thinking such high intellectual thoughts.

Sometimes Tuija, things are indefensible. Things like theft, or plagiarism, or violence or lies.

I realise that those are concepts so far below the cerebral level that you and Trevor operate in, but you are at kiwiblog. Here we are simple folk. We have to still live by those lowly concepts of honesty and dignity and a bit of pride in being real men and women. You see for us operating on a lower level than people like “Trevor, I’ll shove a beer bottle up their @$#%^” or your esteemed self, self respect and working for a living, providing for our loved ones is all we have really.

  71. Tuija (214) Says:

Trev’s outburst were from an senior member of the highest office in the land, for which you and I pay him represent the people of NZ by his words and deeds. So quite a difference.

It seems to me that with the exception of the Greens and the Moari Party abuse is hurled right left and centre in our parliament . Doesn’t help with a free exchange of ideas does it?
In a similar way the venal banal comments of many of the posters here , do nothing to add to positive discussions

  72. Bok (740) Says:

    I challenge Trevor to justify.
    1) The “chinless” comments
    2) The beer bottle comments
    3) The bagman comments
    4) The Dianne comments
    5) The violence
    6) The theft of public money (pledge card)

Come on Trevor, you intellectual giant you. Shall we bring up all the others?
People in glass houses just should not give their kids shanghais to play with.

  73. Tuija (214) Says:

Why am I here ? Don’t know really, maybe its gives me the motavation to go and campaign harder. and help stop the kind of society that would ensue if your lots views were reflected.

  74. Bok (740) Says:

    Tuija
Once again said slowly, this is a forum for personal opinion, they are in parliament supposedly running a country.
The simple fact that you cannot see the difference is although no longer surprising, still sad.

  75. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Tuija – you’ve got to admit that Rakaia George’s comment about carrots and sugar lumps was funny. I laughed with him. But when you said of Worth “You are fair game, you prick” – I laughed AT you.

    Spot the difference :-)

  76. Bok (740) Says:

What, you mean the kind society that has been brought about in the last 9 years of Trevor and co running the country?
    Fair enough.
Why would we want truth, honesty, accountability.
Why would we want to have ministers that does not resort to violence or prime ministers that does not lie and plagiarize?
Why would we want to stop the Burtons of this world getting out and killing innocent people.

No, far better to have people in our caucus that uses slave labour. Why dont we promote people( fat old white boys) who abuse their position of power to walk in on young girls showering?

You are right it that is the society we want. Have people campaigning for us who drives people to attempt or contemplate suicide and who sells jobs that dont exist to the underprivileged or disadvantaged.

Tuija we kicked them out last year. Started taking the country back from those types of people. Working with honest NZ loving people like the Maori party who seems about 7 times smarter than your lot and the greens when it comes to what it will take to bring NZ back to a country people loves living in.

  77. Tuija (214) Says:

Of course i can see the difference if you choose to misrepresent what I sad fair enough
I guess my original point was that the level of abuse on these threads is why Trevor , NRT and the Standard have to implement some form of tough moderation to keep the discourse going.

BTW RE treveor One could ask Nick Smith why he says such snide things all the time and why he is so economical with the truth? but what the point. the only thing we can do it vote for Mp’s that have values that match our own I guess

  78. Bok (740) Says:

    Tuija
“the only thing we can do it vote for Mp’s that have values that match our own I guess” and never a truer word spoken.
Now go and read Trevor’s resume.

  79. getstaffed (4596) Says:

So Tuija, in response to suggestions that Trev should justify his actions… you resort to finger pointing and “[Smith] did it too” tactics. Ah yes, the classy stuff of intellectual giants such as your good self.

  80. Inventory2 (3976) Says:

Do you blame Nick Smith for biting back when he is constantly taunted over mental health issues (“Take your pills Nick”)? I would have thought that you as a self-identified greenie would have empathy Tuija. But no, perhaps you are from the anarchist branch of the party.

  81. Tuija (214) Says:

Bok the trouble is that none of the noble concepts of truth, honesty, accountability. that you so rightly aspire to
are the result of the sort of Goverment that it seems you lot want. The more likely outcomes are gated communites and stepping over beggars ( to couch my argument in kiwiblog rhetoric)

Further more it is completely unstustainable . but that is, maybe for a differant day.. I have a head gasket to change seeya

  82. Bok (740) Says:

    Tuija
When I accuse trevor of despicable behavior, I site examples. Yet you use innuendo when talking about Nick Smith.
I will bet dollars to donuts that just about every-one here is happy for you to list the lies and slurs and whatnot you accuse Smith of.
And like with Worth, we will publicly give him the bollocking he needs if what you say is true.

We will put each statement up against trevor’s taunts about mental illness (nice one trev) etc.

So we are waiting or are you just doing a mallard.

(A mallard is a colloquialism. To accuse without knowing the facts. Use: “Winston Churchill rigged the 1990 melbourne cup”.
This is a mallard because it can be easily disproved simply because Churchill was dead in 1990 – yet it was leveled as an accusation before the facts were checked)

  83. Bok (740) Says:

Why are you driving a car Tuija?
Bikes do not have head gaskets. Also if your car is old enough for you to change the head gasket, it is an environmental disaster.

  84. Shunda barunda (868) Says:

“liarbore, helengrad, dear leader etc etc”

So Tuija, Labour didn’t tell lies?, Helen didn’t rule with an iron fist?, Helen didn’t have a supreme leader complex? heck, the woman thought she WAS NZ!!!!
Where the hell have you been the last 10 years.

  85. Shunda barunda (868) Says:

“Further more it is completely unstustainable”

Right Tuija, so now labour were taking us in a sustainable direction were they? What a dick.

  86. Tuija (214) Says:

Bok Classic car doesn’t get driven much changing head to run on unleaded fuel still good for 40mpg though. But yes needs an electric motor (not sure about sustanibilty of batteries though)
SB I agree. No Labour were not taking us in a sustainable direction
Re Smith that opened a can of worms, if you don’t know about Nick economies of truth and bad behaviour then you are probably more blinkered then I thought
SB Helen didn’t have a supreme leader complex? funny thought it was byelection day in Mt albert ( suggest you look up election)
GS RE” Ah yes, the classy stuff of intellectual giants such as your good self”
Sorry for the offense I have read back a few of your posts and realise that you can string together some pretty good and compeling points of view completely free from rhetoric and personal abuse please accept my apologies

  87. Bok (740) Says:

    Enjoy working on the car.
You are why we are happy to engage some on the left in discourse, any-one that can apologize when they are wrong, deserves to be heard in the first place.
And trust me your classic car will bring you more joy, than it would harm the enviroment.

  88. philu (7206) Says:

“..any-one that can apologize when they are wrong, deserves to be heard in the first place..”

    we’re still waiting..bok..

    practise what you preach..

    ..eh..?

i mean..what bigger ‘wrong’ could there be than you promoting your personal physical outcomes..

..as an advertisment for eating lots of meat and dairy..?

    ..whoar..!

    phil(whoar.co.nz)

    phil(whoar.co.nz

  89. Bok (740) Says:

    Phil I met you.
I met you to discuss a possibility of working together on something. I trusted and showed you that respect.
i have since refrained from making any comments about you or being negative. Once again, when you sit down with some-one an have a drink to discuss possibilities for business, then you show them respect an courtesy afterwards.

However you want to make it about appearances. Then lets roll it out.

I met a man that looked about 60 maybe 65 although I have sixty five year old friends who looked healthier and fitter than you.

Yep I am not a small man. 6 ft 4 and just on 140 kg.
But I have an active outdoors life.
You looked like death warmed up. A pathetic little figure with a scraggy white beard , shocking skin, a gammy leg (no it was not and affectation ) And a sniffle. No I know that your persona was sniveling, but this was a sniffle.

You want to attack the way I look? Sweet. I have a healthy, wealthy and fulfilled life. Great friends and great family.
I travel he world and do and have done really fulfilling things for both the enviroment and for my fellow man.
The charities I support are entirely animal orientated because there are enough people out there who support humans.
You see there are environmentalists out there actually doing stuff, not just scaremongering.

Yes I am big, but I have and still do spend hours of fulfilled, happy times diving, hiking, on photo safaris etc.

I spend my evenings with friends and family eating dinners that taste divine and most people dream about.
In the last 30 years I have received medical treatment twice. Once when I cut myself out fishing. Another when I got wounded in a war. My blood pressure and cholesterol is way below people my age. I have a medical check up every year which I pass with flying colours. I used to smoke, but gave that away 8 years ago. I wonder, you have diabetes perhaps? Some sort of mineral deficiency anyway.
Yes I am big but I look 5 years younger than I am. You?

Well you cut a sad lonely little figure. A small insignificant man that might be some-ones great grandfather, just about ready to shuffle off into a retirement home, or a homeless junky who is waking up to a life that maybe promised much, and alas delivered little.

Phil, I dont feel particularly happy having to write this. In fact I wish you were smart enough not to attack the way i look, but my ideas. Unfortunately, the only way to answer your attack, is to draw a comparison between the two of us.

I thank god, gaia, or the stars, that I am me, and not you.

  90. Shunda barunda (868) Says:

    Phew loo just got owned!!!

  91. philu (7206) Says:

“..I thank god, gaia, or the stars, that I am me, and not you..”

    ditto..!..dear one..ditto..

btw..you kicked this off with your bullshit stories about ’sick’ vegans…

..y’know..!..it’s hardly radical to point out that flesh/fat/blood addictions lead to a range of disabilities..

..and a premature death for most heavy-users..

..i mean..you say the same shit now about vegans…that you used to say about vegetarians..eh..?

..(before that transition step became mainstream..)

..memory is a selective beast..but i remember you as being clinically obese..

..(now that we have stopped calling a spade a digging implement..eh..?..)

..and one who would be at home in browns bay on a saturday morning..in yr leather-clad s.u.v…eh..?

..(sorta from the other side of town..from me..eh..?..in a raft of ways…)

    ..and you love animals..eh..?..

    ..especially how they cook-up/taste..eh..?

“..You looked like death warmed up. A pathetic little figure with a scraggy white beard , shocking skin, a gammy leg (no it was not and affectation ) And a sniffle. No I know that your persona was sniveling, but this was a sniffle..”

(,,heh..!..i don’t actually remember the ‘gammy leg’..

..i’m sure you be relieved to know it is now un-gammied…and maybe i had a cold..but sheesh..!

    .. ..don’t hold back darling..!..eh..?)

and hey..!..my memory of that meeting was an dick-waving/ego-wank/blah-blah from you..

    ..much heat and noise/’i am’….signifying little…

    ..eh..?

    ..so..good on ya..!

    ..eh..?

..just stop spreading yr bullshit stories about unhealthy vegans..eh..?

..and i guess you must just be big-boned..eh..?

    ..phil(whoar.co.nz)

  92. Chicken Little (608) Says:

Phule – after observing your comments for 4 or 5 years I have to say – the longer your comment the more I know you’re talking shite or backpedaling at a furious pace.

I can’t really be bothered reading which one it is.

  93. Nomestradamus (2042) Says:

    Bok:

    Phil I met you.
I met you to discuss a possibility of working together on something.

Noble intentions but, given it’s Philu you’re talking about, the bold word is where you went wrong.

  94. philu (7206) Says:

gee chicky..you could have read it in the time it took you to type that you won’t read it…

    heh..!..silly man…!

btw..did i spot you slithering around at the kingsland backbenchers..

    phil(whoar.co.nz)

  95. Murray (4521) Says:

“DPF in the interests of interparty blogger co-operation is there any chance that you could refrain from linking to Red Alert and thereby at least keep the intellectual giants here where they are apparently welcome.

You do that and I promise not to post about you on the Cactus Whale sites.”

What the hell is this shit punchy? Who the fuck do you think you are that you can just plain lie your ass off then try and stop people pointing it out? you want to swim in the sharktank you take what comes like the rest of us, you are not special except in a Ralph Wiggen sense.

MurrayM is right, you are a fuckpig. Is there anything you hate more than free speech and democray? By the way the next time you pin something on my fathers chest rember to call him Sir. He, unlike you, has earned it.

Yeah whatever DPF, if the porcine intercourse fits.

How about the rest of you grow a pair and say what you think.

  96. Murray M (455) Says:

Muzz, that f**kpig word gets people into trouble. Personally I don’t see why it is any more offensive than f**kwit. I’ve used that before and never got demerits.
Thanks for sticking up for me.
