Just think Dpf now that your a TV personality… you can put your hand up for parliament.. thats how half of them got in.

Second thoughts after seeing the breakfast program… you would be better suited for Radio.

DPF, Further to Loco Burro’s post, I have emailed you the Justice Ministry’s guidelines for in-court media reporting. Clearly these don’t cover the blogosphere, but perhaps you could use them as a basis for lobbying the ministry to develop similar guidelines for the blogosphere? I know bloggers have their trenchant critics—one prominent one whom I shouldn’t name springs to mind—but perhaps you could become a champion in this field by demonstrating that there is a place for you in this opinion-shaping sphere but that you won’t in future run rampant over the contempt rules? It was instructive that Justice Potter urged jurors in the Weatherston trial at the outset not to read any blogs during the proceedings.

Media guides for court rules and court proceedings are available at courthouses around the country, they are usually on display or you can ask for someone to fetch you one, I also believe it is online but have not checked exactly where.
