National Republicans at Lunch
August 1st, 2009 at 6:50 am by David FarrarI suggested a few days ago that any Nats at the party conference who are Republicans grab lunch with Lewis Holden (Republican Movement Chair) and myself to chat about getting an informal group going within National.
I’ve just realised I won’t be at lunch, as I’ll be helping with the vote counting program for the board elections. So don’t look for me, look for Lewis.
Lewis is the one on the right!
Alternatively just do what a dozen or so have already done and e-mail me to be added to a list of interested people within National.

Do let us know where the lunch is so we members of HM’s loyal company of wood choppers can come along to shorten a few Republican types up.

republican “movement” chair. Does it have a big hole in it for that movement?

The opposition group within National should be called the Royal Blues.

Is there really a need for Republican movements
As much as I loath the concept, sadly it is only a mater of time before we do become a Republic.
We can’t afford it, that’s why we’ll become a state of the Aussy
Republic.
Time moves on I guess and we all have to be pragmatic, but starting parties and sub parties about Republicanism is folly.
its not going to move anything any faster.
Some people just want to look respectably rebellious. But they won’t look any where near as good as the respectable
citizens who got out and protested against the EFB last year.
THat was what you call a real cause.
