I think a lot of Kiwis that head overseas think they could return at some stage, it simply depends on their situation wherever they end up. If they get a good job somewhere they like to be it’s easy to settle in to a new country. If things don’t go so well, and especially if they become redundant or have trouble finding the right sort of job they will come back here. So it is no surprise that in a tough economic year there are less staying away for more than a holiday and there are more coming back.
