I hope the march for democracy is a brilliant success, so the chainsaw can start cutting out political deadwood that stifles the successful progress of this tiny Nation. Eh politicians, go get real jobs in the real world you parasites!
Been in the US of A for work this past week, arrived back yesterday….. To say the economy and country is well F’d would be an understatement…
I did however purchase the Sarah Palin book – Going Rogue. Am mid way through the book, quite an interesting read. Sarah Palin is one hard working human. The US of A lefties would really want to watch themselves, this woman will come forward and take them apart before they even know what hit them….
Seems to be a ground swell of negativity for Mr Obama….. Takes far more than being a talker. The vast majority I spoke with a sick and tired of the fact that he is all talk, or another “piss and wind like the barbers cat”
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if everyone who posted in this slte made cogent – or even constructive – comments or observations without this medium quickly descending – as it so often does – into personal invective, juvenile sniping and generally time-wasting displays of egotism or one-upmanship. Ah well! (Sighs) One can but hope I suppose. Fat chance though!! (Question to self: Why do I waste valuable breathing time logged into this farago of near irrelevance?)
The partner of the Napier gunman who killed a policeman during a three-day siege received nearly $10,000 in ACC compensation after he committed suicide.
…and it goes on..and on…and on… and on….disney zealand…
Ben Cleaver is in a critical condition in Auckland’s Middlemore Hospital after suffering burns to 70 percent of his body in the explosion at his family’s home in Rimu St, Maeroa. His family was at his bedside last night.
Kale Hoggart, 15, and Jack Pavich, 14, were in the container with victim Ben, 14, and his 11-year-old brother Troy. They were relaxing during a Fraser High School teacher-only day.
Waikato fire safety officer Ross Fleet said the boys then started “mucking around with a fuel container from the lawnmower”.
“One of them (Ben) has been in the process of emptying the fuel contents into some sort of cup, and sometime after that he has lit a cigarette and he has burst into flames, and the furnishings around him have also caught fire.”
What a horrific price to pay for childish stupidity.
Here is how the Guardian attempts to justify the behavior of these scientists
The alleged emails illustrate the persistent pressure some climatologists have been under from sceptics in recent years. There have been repeated calls, including Freedom of Information requests, for the Climate Research Unit to make public a confidential dataset of land and sea temperature recordings that is “value added” by the unit before being used by the Met Office. The emails show the frustration some climatologists have had at having to operate under such intense, often politically motivated, scrutiny.
In science your results, data and methodology are supposed to be scrutinized by your peers – thats not political it is how science works.
This is only the beginning of the contortions the world is melting crowd and their sycophants are going to have to go through to keep their scare alive.
What is political is hiding your data and methodology particularly when your results serve a political purpose
Just reading an article that the NORAD command are evaluating the air defense of the North American continent which largely started following 9/11 http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/20/us/20terror.html?th&emc=th Then it was costing $50million a week.
It makes me wonder about all the security the ‘authorities’ are pre-occupied with. If there was good compensation for people injured in such attacks that have yet to occur wouldn’t it be cheaper to scale things back to the fourteen planes at seven sites of pre-9/11 days. That is compensation for victims families too. Considering how we kill each other and ourselves with motor accidents and drugs why should we be unduely worried aboiut another 3000 dead as with 9/11? It is all another symptom of the “Why doesn’t somebody do something about it” …. A case where the fence at the top of the cliff isn’t really neccessary.
If you look through the leaked information, you can see the fortunes of tax payer money that these scumbags got to obtain these data. They have no rights to them whatsoever. All they did is use all tis money to twist and change the data to suit their models. That’s not science, that’s fraud and these jokers should go to jail, an dnot to cosey conferences. The whole thing is a hoax and now it’s been irrefutably proven. Who can’t see that is an idiot.
Here is how the Guardian attempts to justify the behavior of these scientists
“The alleged emails illustrate the persistent pressure some climatologists have been under from sceptics in recent years.”
Incredible spin. One of the more damming emails is dated 1999, way back when these ’scientists’ were able to weave their scam with total freedom from scrutiny.
The release of emails may well be embarrassing. But it doesn’t change the large amount of research and data worldwide. And the seasons they keep on changing. Hard to argue with nature.
There is much less chance of a climate scam conspiracy than there is of a 9-11 conspiracy – far more people and countries involved, it would be impossible for a co-ordinated campaign on that scale to be agreed on let alone for it to remain secret.
That you can remain staunchly committed to the AGW scam, when the great prophet Algore is regularly shown up as a liar and charlatan strikes me as a bit odd.
The release of emails may well be embarrassing. But it doesn’t change the large amount of research and data worldwide.
I don’t take as much notice of the whole AGW furor now as I did ten years ago, in light of the predictable failure of Kyoto and the even more predictable Copenhagen face plant.
But occasionally there is a story so scientifically annoying that it can’t be ignored. In this case it’s the Himalayan glaciers: turns out that they’re not melting after all. Key quotes:
The rumors may have originated in the Asia chapter of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s (IPCC’s) 2007 Working Group II report, which claims that Himalayan glaciers “are receding faster than in any other part of the world and, if the present rate continues, the likelihood of them disappearing by the year 2035 and perhaps sooner is very high if the Earth keeps warming at the current rate.” Evidently, the bogus reporting was based on measurements from only a handful of glaciers.
The report by Vijay Kumar Raina, formerly of the Geological Survey of India, seeks to correct widely spread reports that India’s 10,000 or so Himalayan glaciers are shrinking rapidly in response to climate change. It’s not true, Raina says.
…….
According to a report in the journal Science, “several Western experts who have conducted studies in the region agree with Raina’s nuanced analysis—even if it clashes with IPCC’s take on the Himalayas.” The “extremely provocative” findings “are consistent with what I have learned independently,” says Jeffrey S. Kargel, a glaciologist at the University of Arizona, Tucson. Many glaciers in the Karakoram Mountains, on the border of India and Pakistan, have “stabilized or undergone an aggressive advance,” he says, citing new evidence gathered by a team led by Michael Bishop, a mountain geomorphologist at the University of Nebraska.
Having recently returned from an expedition to K2, one of the highest peaks in the world, Canadian glaciologist Kenneth Hewitt says he observed five advancing glaciers and only a single one in retreat. Such evidence “challenges the view that the upper Indus glaciers are ‘disappearing’ quickly and will be gone in 30 years,” said Hewitt. “There is no evidence to support this view and, indeed, rates of retreat have been less in the past 30 years than the previous 60 years.”
But the money shot is this one:
Other researchers and noted experts have raised their voices in support of Raina’s conclusions. According to Himalayan glacier specialist John “Jack” Shroder, the only possible conclusion is that IPCC’s Himalaya assessment got it “horribly wrong.” The University of Nebraska researcher adds, “They were too quick to jump to conclusions on too little data.”
Naturally the people who pulled the IPCC Asia section together are not happy:
Even when faced with data showing the errors in their work, the IPCC seems incapable of admitting they were wrong. Typically, Murari Lal, chair of the Climate, Energy and Sustainable Development Analysis Centre in New Delhi and coordinating lead author of the 2007 IPCC report’s Asia chapter, rejects the notion that IPCC was off the mark on Himalayan glaciers. Even more petulantly, IPCC chairman Rajendra Pachauri accused the Indian environment ministry of “arrogance” for its report claiming there is no evidence that climate change has shrunk the Himalayan glaciers.
I thought that this pacific island banjo music would be good one to listen to may be once, prior to drinking beers (for those who are going to later in the day) and perhaps geared up some who will watch the All Blacks smashing England big time tomorrow morning. The old timer’s singing group is my uncle’s group (the one with red/white aloha shirt playing the 2nd violin).
“That you can remain staunchly committed to the AGW scam, when the great prophet Algore is regularly shown up as a liar and charlatan strikes me as a bit odd.”
Many aspects of AGW are similar to those of religions, and see how far some of those have got despite so little proof of their ‘truth’.
Pete G – what do you think this does to Peer Review then? There was an orchastrated attempt to stack the Peer Review process. This leads to bad(wrong) science. The papers in some of these journals may as well be toilet paper cause some will not be worth a pinch of shit as the data will have been falsified. The warmers will fob this off of course but there is a REAL creditability problem here as these people are prominent in the making of the IPCC TAR4. As I have always said. AGW is all abot tax and control, nothing more than a scam.
The Swiss constitution allows any act of Parliament or anything done by the Government to be overturned by a referendum if 50,000 registered voters sign a petition for one, a “citizens’ initiative”.
I heard Amy Brooke who wrote about the Swiss system in Investigate talk to Leighton Smith on the subject. She clearly stated that there were limits to the type legislation that could be overturned. I wonder what else Roughan got wrong.
Roughan may think that most MPs are more ethical and wiser than him – I certainly do not. I doubt if Roughan really thinks the MPs are more ethical and wiser than him – just wiser than the ignorant peasants. Him and his paper are happy with this law that undermines parental authority and are happy to distort the facts to promote his cause.
He rubbished Bob McCroskie and falsely claimed that a law change would again allow parents to get away with beating children with implements. When I emailed and told him that McCroskie supported John Boscawen’s private bill he acknowledged he had not read Boscawen’s bill and was unaware he banned the use of implements.
Nice to see that the good old EMU’s union is doing what it does best. Screwing its members while the union organisers grow fat on the stupidity of the poor bastards who pay their subs. When will the workers of this country grow up and realise that paying your subs to the union equates to subsidising a job for spotty little tossers who have passed a degree in PS and think they are a reincarnation of V.I. Lenin.
It is amazing the world survives when the vast majority of politicians dont adhere to what the vast majority of its constituents vote for and believe in….. With this being the case, where do you start from……
The ability to have an answer to that would be great…
Is anyone else a little perplexed/concerned that Rod Drury has been appointed to the board of NZX? I’ve nothing at all against Rod and he’s done and is doing great stuff with Xero, but the NZX isn’t exactly known for it’s transparency and I wonder how this is going to improve when there are board members who are (quite legitimately of course) using the NZX to fund a rapid start-up from which they’ll ultimately make a lot of money by selling their shares.
NZX moan that NZer’s don’t invest in NZ equities, but what do they expect if people get the impression that the chicken coop is being run by the foxes?*
If anyone doubts that the NZX fails to provide decent and transparent info to common shareholders, have a look at this needlessly complex and confused ’statement’:
There’s no need for that sort of Yes Minister crap. But will it change if the board are filled with insiders?
* This is not a conspiracy theory. I think Rod Drury is a great bloke, but conflicts of interest don’t require bad people. They just happen, quite naturally. I don’t hold any shares in Xero either, but I’m tempted.
That you can remain staunchly committed to the AGW scam
I’m not staunchly committed as you would know if you have taken any notice of what I have said. And it’s not a scam. The climate is potentially a problem. The way to deal with it may or may not be misguided, it is untried so unknown.
The staunchly committed seem to be those against – and I think it is very naive to believe there is no possible problem, and there is nothing we should try to do – or they are protecting a vested interest. And following standard practice the staunchly against brigade are trying to blame the “opposition” of being blind and stupid or devious when they have most of those qualities.
This isn’t about being either right or wrong, it isn’t a simple god or not type of issue, it is far more complex than that. The only questions are on the level of probability of there being a problem, the probable scope of that problem, and what can be done to mitigate the probable problem.
But this has all been repeated and repeated and the staunch choose to keep ignoring the real scenario, one of possibilities and probabilities.
The following is Hone Harawira’s original letter to the Maori Party before it was edited and submitted by Queen’s Counsel Peter Williams. “Mr Williams yesterday confirmed he was acting for Mr Harawira and had written a “detailed letter” to the party outlining the Te Tai Tokerau MP’s position. He would not comment further.” said The Herald.
Look you bunch of jive turkeys motherf****r, If you don’t stop threatening to kick me out of your party I’m gonna come round to your cribs and pop a cap in your on your sorry brown a**s. Especially that b**** Turia who should get back in the f**** kitchen and stop trying to play with the m** folk. And Pita, watch your back, man. You think a fancy w***e man’s degree will protect you. You f***n sell-out. I Think you’re a f***g porch-n****r now, wel f**k you, bro.
Colonialism – The Harsh Reality
Look what you made me do. I had to get me a brief. You think I wanted to get this white motherf**** to represent me in this sorry-*** letter? Now you’re making me look like ‘the man’ hiring clever ‘intellectuals’ to scrutinise every word of my contract and find a little loophole I can crawl through. he’s a funny dude though, this Peter Williams dude. For a mother f***n honky.
M*****rs.
IfI were you I’d just forget all this puritanical b****t and let’s just let bygones be bygones. Its not like I called you guys motherf***rs, so what’s the problem? Ok so I might have pissed of a few h***, but who give a s**t what they think, right? They’ve been calling me a n****r for, like ages. You fake sell-outs. I thought we were down.
SO what if I went to Paris? It was research! I thought if you really wanted to se how those honky ba**** think, where better to go than the racist capital of Europe. I was gonna deop in on some of Ahmed Zaouis’ bros and keep it real with the fight against the man in Algeria. But Hilda wanted to do the Louvre. Full of shit they stole off our brown cousins all over the place. Some of it was quite tasty. Honky ba***ds. Stealing our f***g art and s**t.
F***n honky motherf***rs are at it all the f**n time. And I’m supposed to take it. Like all the time man. You can see it in their eyes. Like just yesterday some b****h in a coffee shop asked me to my face if I wanted ‘my coffee white’? I know what she was saying. Racist b*****. Bet she never had it hard on the streets like I did. F*** wh***. Soon put that b***h straight. I told her to shut the f**k up or she’d get a hiding. Because that’s all she was good for. Becasue she was a w*** motherf***r too. Honky Mother*****r bitch-wh***s deserved a bit of straight-talk instead of all this f**n around with niceties. That’s the kind of hypocritical game those f***** honkies play. Not me. I’m a straight-talking brother. If a few rapists and pillagers don’t like ’straight-talking Hone’, then f**k them They didn’t give a f**k about ‘being nice’ when she and her type were raping my great-grannie. Did they?
So f**K them. F**k the media and f***k you two too. You vanilla-ice wannabee whitey sell-outs, with your fancy ways. Not like me, out there on the streets. Keepin it real.
Motherf***rs.
Peace out,
‘Homey’ Harawira
Of course, Peter William’s version left out the rude bits. And the pictures.

It is amazing the world survives when the vast majority of politicians dont adhere to what the vast majority of its constituents vote for and believe in….. With this being the case, where do you start from……
The ability to have an answer to that would be great…
I’ll happily start you off.
The theory of a modern democracy is that we appoint politicians to make decisions based on their knowledge and experience.
We do not elect them to blindly follow the whim of the mob.
If those decisions are not to our liking we unelect those people.
As an aside I’m not a fan of democracy nor any system that lets the ignorant, lazy, insane and non-contributing classes have a say in how I must live my life.
NZ shows up the worst of democracy with the only genuine alternatives, mainly due to those I mentioned being allowed to vote, being cut from the same We-know-best-you-will-do-what-I-say cloth.
“Hone Harawira has taken on Queen’s Counsel Peter Williams to advise him on his battle to stay with the Maori Party.
Mr Williams says he has written a detailed letter to the party outlining the Te Tai Tokerau MP’s position . . . ”

The report does not include Peter Williams’ letter – whatabugga
A Sikh who claims that Islam is based on “deception, fraud and surprise attack” is set to become the first non-white member of the British National Party. Rajinder Singh, 78, who emigrated from the Punjab region of India in 1967, said today that he would be honoured to become a member of the BNP because it is the “only party who has the guts to say the word Muslim”.
“It’s a natural process in the Muslim psyche, to take over [the country]. The fear of Islam is well founded, well justified,” he told The Times. “I don’t hate Muslims. By definition a Sikh is supposed to love all — even the enemy.” The retired schoolteacher will be put forward by the far Right party’s executive as its first non-white member after it makes changes to its constitution. The BNP was forced to agree to the changes in September after the Equality and Human Rights Commission took legal action against the party claiming that its rules, which restricted membership to “indigenous Caucasians”, were a breach of the Race Relations Act.
“I think Britain is a lot more important than me. I have to put my own ego aside and think for Britain. They were (racist) but if they pass this bill they will not be.” …Mr Singh told The Times that Britain was in danger of being taken over by Muslims and the BNP was the only party prepared to do anything about it. He blames Islam for the death of his father during the partition of India in 1947, which led to the deaths of an estimated two million Sikhs, Muslims and Hindus.
One of the solutions the haters of the BNP in Britain refuse to accept is that they can very easily stop the growing support of the BNP. You see, instead of caterwauling about the racism and trying to ban, smear and stifle the BNP into submission through any means possible, all they have to do is simply to adopt the legitimate concerns of those who are going to the BNP, like Rajinder Singh above. If they really cared about Britain and the citizens of Britain, they’d at least try and address their legitimate concerns about immigration and multi-culturalism and if they displayed a genuine willingness to do something about them, there would be no need for Rajinder Singh to join or vote for the BNP.
But you see, they don’t really care about Rajinder Singh and those like him who have sensible and legitimate concerns about muslim immigration and integration, if he were white, they’d brand and smear him as a racist, bigot and everything else they could think of. And so, people like him will move in their droves from the mainstream parties and guess what’s going to happen after that.
The other thing I’d like to talk about is the BNP’s rule about excluding non-whites, I’ve always thought that this leaves them at a disadvantage because it excludes people like Rajinder Singh from supporting them. However, can anyone tell me why a political party should not be allowed to make their own rules about who can join them?
If someone started a club for women only and refused membership for men, why can’t they do this? If there was a Blacks-only party, should they be forced to open it up to non-blacks, will the above Equality and Human Rights Commission pursue them with the same vigor and passion? The Miss India UK pageant is only for women of Indian origin, that’s fine with me but isn’t that racism, why isn’t Equality and Human Rights Commission running after them and suing them into submission.
The way I see it, if you don’t like the BNP’s membership policy or parties that refuse membership based on skin-color or anything else, then don’t vote for them or join them. You are free to campaign against them, debate them and protest them peacefully, but you can’t sue them into submission or force them to bend to your will. My feeling is that most people out there will simply ignore such parties, unless off course no one else gives a damn about them.
Can you convince me otherwise?
P.S. This is not an invitation for hate-filled lefties to start raving and ranting at me for daring to speak.
A further indication that Key and National, after dealing with the recession and doing their homework, could be set to make some significant financial moves. It should begin next year.
Personal tax cuts are back on the agenda of Prime Minister John Key and his enthusiasm for the cuts appear to indicate they could be part of National’s 2011 election manifesto.
Speaking to the Otago Daily Times yesterday, Mr Key talked about how a reformed tax system – rewarding people for hard work and risk-taking – could help productivity, along with other measures the Government was considering.
After celebrating a year in office on Thursday, Mr Key is predicting that the coming year will have a strong economic focus.
Fairfucked Media today brings a twist to the Ihimaera plagiarism scandal.
In the small magazine enclosed in the main Saturday papers, called Your Weekend, Rose Shields reviews the novel at issue, Trowenna Sea. In 11 paragraphs of fairly lavish praise for the book, Shields touches on the plagiarism briefly in the third last paragraph:
“Ihimaera’s bibliography runs to almost two full pages and it is regrettable it does not contain full attribution details of certain `borrowed’ passages over which the author has been accused of plagiarism.”
This must rank as the mildest possible tap on Ihimaera’s hand. Really only a tisk, tisk.
An acquaintance I consulted tells me this reviewer works for the Christchurch Press, a major publication of Fairfax Media. My source said this newspaper a few years ago fired a journalist for plagiarism. Regardless of whether Shields worked for the newspaper then or joined it later, she should have known from that incident how serious plagiarism is. Those who edited her review certainly should have.
There is a difference between actually practicing plagiarism (sackable) and merely commenting on it in an opinion piece with unusual mildness. Also, it would be more disturbing surely, if any person who writes a literary review for Fairfax was required to echo company opinion on something. And the sub-editors would have been deeply wrong to have put words into, or taken words out of, the reviewer’s mouth.
You are of course right that there is a huge gap between a reviewer apparently regarding plagiarism as a peccadillo and the actual act of plagiarism.
However, the reviewer we’re discussing is employed by a newspaper that has shown it regards plagiarism as a sackable offence. There is surely a contradiction between this stance and the reviewer’s assessment of plagiarism. If this is justifiable journalistic independence or reviewer independence or editorial independence, fair enough, but it’s still remarkable.
The review’s almost indifference to Ihimaera’s plagiarism is particularly relevant because of the Arts Council and Auckland University being in denial about the scandal. To readers of the Christchurch Press today, it looks as though the newspaper is in the same waka on this matter as the council and the university.
Perhaps a charitable view is that reviewer Shields was unaware of the plagiarism when she wrote the review and she, or the editors S. Russell mentions, have been able to cobble in only a mention when the scandal subsequently broke. If so, it might have been preferable to just add a footnote that accusations of plagiarism had arisen after the review was completed.
Pete George said “The release of emails may well be embarrassing. But it doesn’t change the large amount of research and data worldwide. And the seasons they keep on changing. Hard to argue with nature.”
It is indeed Pete. It’s very hard to argue anything other than that the climate and the seasons have been a-changing ever since the dawn of time – and since well before man built factories, cars, jet airliners and other so-called “pollutants”. That’s just the nature of the beast.
If indeed climate scientists have been deliberately fudging data to defend their allegations of man-made climate change, it could well be that the whole house of global warming/climate change cards is about to tumble. And that would be very bad news indeed for those like Al Gore who have made a killing trading on the AGW scaremongering.
Hahaha, Delirium’s little con continues to fall apart around his ears. And Copenhagen now being little more than a talking shop for world leaders to pump even more carbon into the air to get there…
New Zealand’s most deceitful political party – ACT, have released their ‘alternative budget’.
This contains the usual ‘talk talk talk’, and says the right things, but I wish to draw the attention of Kiwiblog readers to the ‘walk walk walk’ of ACT during the last 12 months in Government.
They have voted for higher taxes, massive spending increases, socialist health and education spending, handouts to Maoris and business, a record budget deficit and they did all this without so much a whimper of protest (let alone howls of indignation) or the single threat of resignation.
These toxic mountebanks are just whores – they have no principles, no sense of decency, no obligation to their supporters and no shame at what their votes in Parliament have delivered future generations.
Do not be fooled by the alternative budget – Douglas doesn’t mean a word of it
For once I am inclined to agree with you, Phil; the biggest flop since the head of United Artists said “I have a great idea for a movie; let’s call it Heaven’s Gate”
No one much turned up, few people were aware it was taking place, and apathy reigned supreme in Queen Street today.
What a lowlife. This from a bloke who can’t even hold down a part-time job; hates very capitalistic system which affords him the luxury of a welfare benefit and has effectively been paying for his entire adult life – his education, incarceration, drug rehab, domestic purposes benefit.
I’m thinking the CRU hack will be the political equivilent of the Downing Street memo. With public support for AGW already at new lows compared to several years ago, there’s nothing people love more than evilmongers conspiring for their own gain. And this is that conspiry. It means a hell of a lot more than a thousand peer-reviewed journal articles and white papers.
If Phool can leave the house to jeer at protestors, then that means he can leave the house and go to work because his son can obviously easily look after himself.
Go on phool, where’s your school holiday canard now?
Show some respect people:
It turns out that Phools lad is related to famous people.
Hint ——-crows. So they should have organised help while Phool was out perving at the procesh.
I’d have liked it if they clouted you, phool. Or better yet, cooked up and injected the lump of heroin in your back pocket into you and left you to OD in the gutter.
A post as deceptive as ever, Luc (3.21pm). But thanks for the link to the article itself.
The quote is not – as you imply – a statement by the NZ Herald (as in an editorial). It is a comment reported in the Herald and attributed to a little-know immigrant musician.
You might hang on every word that musician utters, Luc, but most of us would want to know more about the individual’s credentials, experience and motivations before we placed any reliance on his political utterances.
“we then had a brief/sharp exchange on the merits or not of hitting children..and i bade them farewell..”
So is your left or right eye thats been whacked then Phool?
Normally I would suggest a steak but in your case a nice cold Tofu burger should lower the swelling.
For pain—— take another toke.
I do hope Phool remembered to feed his teenaged son before he left, considering he can’t do anything to look after himself. Otherwise, that’s child abuse. And that’s a criminal offence.
Shame i didn’t end up going after all Phillu if i had seen you i would have told the plod you were smoking cannabis beforehand, sucks to have priors eh would of made a good photo.
Aah Phool, but we all know that you have been smarting after I played you like a fool in Thursday’s GD. Nary a squawk came from the magpie all Friday. Was it having to dry the keyboard of outraged spittle?
Lost a little bombast and confidence have we mmm? You can cope with insults, but not losing those vestigial scraps of self-respect in front of the kiwiblog audience. So what is it this time- hoping for some soft targets to rebuild some confidence? Hoping everyone’s forgotten by now?
Something you don’t seem to understand phil, is that convervatives couldn’t care less about marching.
Demonstration marches are a trade-union lefty thing that very rarely works on the other side of the political divide.
Lefties seem to be very keen indeed to march at the drop of a hat which just goes to show how fucking mental you all are, since they very rarely make any difference whatsoever unless they become a mass national movement like the Tour marches were. It takes something very special to make that happen. So most of the time, demonstrations are in fact nothing more than a demonstrable waste of fucking time which is why conservatives rarely if ever, trouble themselves with them since we prefer to do something that will actually be effective.
And Luc rather amusingly alleges above that its conservatives who are the thickees. Au contrare Luc.
Change of subject if you would allow me, but what do you think of Europes new Executive President? and a Baroness as his side kick to boot, i reckon in a few more years the armed forces of Europe will be swearing allegiance to the EU if Nationalist partys fail to gain traction. Certainly going to throw the chess board into a wobble considering the history of European nations and the eastern plains of Eurasia.
Yeah but phil, you’re mistaken if you think anyone gives a shit.
The fact it was a small march doesn’t change the fact that the overwhelming sentiment across the whole country is for Key to change Bradford’s execrable law, and if he doesn’t, he’ll find out over time just precisely how overwhelming that sentiment is.
Perhaps the march turnout simply shows how quickly these, at the time, huge, often emotive, issues cease to be so very quickly once the dust settles.
There is no groundswell of opposition to or resentment at the anti-smacking law because it is shown to be uncontroversial in practice.
And the side issue of binding referenda is a non-starter as it would never get through parliament – even our MPs aren’t that thick! (cue Johnboy to exercise his Murray Mexted trait)
So, if the organisers spent the whole 500,000 dollars, that’s somewhere between $100 and $500 per marcher, depending on which figure you believe. The actual count doesn’t really matter; it’s a nice sunny day (unfortunately I just could get motivated enough to bother attending in opposition) and there should have many more if the topic was exercising anyone outside the beltway of the religious right, so it’s officially a flop.
Now, on the subject to the leaked climate change emails: It shows that scientists are as human as the rest of us. The problem for the deniers is that there is now an avalanche of up-to-date observations feeding into the climate models and the only area the deniers can attack is the uncertainty inherent in modeling such a complex subject. But uncertainty does not equate to rebuttal.
So, let’s admit some scientists seem to have displayed questionable ethics and motives at times, but the evidence is so fast moving and compelling that the email controversy becomes just annoying background noise, the domain of narcissistic fanatics.
“.The fact it was a small march doesn’t change the fact that the overwhelming sentiment across the whole country is for Key to change Bradford’s execrable law..”
dream on..!..sailor..!
this march turnout is the final nails into the coffin of that issue..
I’ve found one email where Phil Jones (top climate dog) is instructing his team to delete any emails about their contribution to IPCC’s [then forthcoming] AR4 report.. before a FOI (‘Freedom of Information’) request was lodged. Suspect at best, illegal at worst.
Unsure about the legalities of including such email text – and wouldn’t want to see DPF in the dock. DPF – can you advise?
“this march turnout is the final nails into the coffin of that issue..”
Oh FFS phil and Luc, let me spell it out for you.
Conservatives don’t march, it’s not in our nature. That doesn’t mean we have changed our minds about this execrable law regardless of whether or not there are prosecutions. It’s the principal you see of nanny state in the form of the Police and CYFS entering into our private lives and that is very deep and won’t go away with time. You watch the opinion polls and they won’t budge on this issue regardless as I said, of whether or not there are any prosecutions. That’s NOT THE POINT AND NEVER FUCKING HAS BEEN THE POINT.
Phillip Ure said “one was actually quite intelligent..(mind you..there were a lot of knuckles dragging on the ground..from most of them..)”
Oh Phil, you’re SO predictable. You just can’t resist the peurile insults can you. At least the however-many who marched today were standing up for what they believed in, which suggests that they have a few more active neurones than those who stand on the sidelines and shout insults.
Oh, and the irony. Most of those who marched today are likely employed – working is something that most of us on the right value. You however seem quite content to bite the hand that feeds you. Get a job Phil, contribute something worthwhile to society, and then we MIGHT take what you say even semi-seriously.
for the last four and a half years..every day.(early morning start…i have compiled a news aggregator service…whoar.co.nz
..(that yesterday..was ranked in the top 1% of global blogs..by technorati…
..and i have been approached by some americans putting together a big commercial model news/opinion site in america..
..aimed at knocking off huffington post..
..i will own part of that…and hope/expect to make a reasonable..to shit-load of money from that…
and i am about to start cashing in on the high global rankigs for whoar…
..(so i expect to be off that dpb sooner..rather than later..
30 July to 21 November is, er, nearly 4 months. Guess you no longer “expect to be off that dpb sooner..rather than later” then?
Tut tut Phool, three responses to my ‘you want to be like me- a real environmentalist’ gambit says otherwise. What happened Friday morning? Were you still upset and crying into your pillow? It’s okay to admit you cry- we all know you’re a girly vegan.
Gosh, I don’t know why anybody hasn’t pointed this out, but my name doesn’t have that rhyme you think it does. For the rhyme to work, your pronunciation would have to be that of a toothless fuckwit- whose abused drugs for so long- that you could only use 3 vowels and 10 consonants (and a towel to soak up the drool). Hmm, perhaps in your case…
If you want to be more like me, I suggest giving up this drug thing and moving onto something less girly. Single-malt whisky perhaps.
They are nobody’s, thats why no one knows anything about them because quite frankly in a general election no one would vote for them, bureaucratic apparatchiks to the core.
Also it seems the president is one of Kissingers boys from the 70’s but i am still trying to find more on this.
E-mails allegedly written by some of the world’s leading climate scientists have been stolen by hackers and published on websites run by climate change sceptics.
The sceptics claim that the e-mails are evidence that scientists manipulated data in order to strengthen their argument that human activities were causing global warming.
The hackers appear to have accessed servers at the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit. The university reported the incident to police yesterday after the leak was discussed online across the world. The files were apparently first uploaded on to a Russian server and then mirrored across the internet.
..at the end of the day whore no one cares a rats arse about your opinion on the march…you are bottom feeder who doesnt contribute……you are a taker..you take from everyone…be it robbing pharamacies or robbing the tax payer…leech-whore..
Chthoniid said “If you want to be more like me, I suggest giving up this drug thing and moving onto something less girly. Single-malt whisky perhaps.”
Wash your mouth out good Sir – single-malt whisky is far too precious to be wasted on the likes of Phillip Ure. Anyway, all that dope has likely as not munted his taste-buds
“A total of 1,622,150 votes were cast with 87.6 percent in favour of repealing the Bradford/Liarbore state-sponsored commie intrusion into our private lives”

Phool is an abashed copy-and-paste merchant. You, on the other hand, take original photos and generously share these with the Kiwiblog audience. The fact that you have an obvious talent for cutting-edge photography, not to mention genuine environmental credentials, obviously gets to Phool – his whining is nothing more than sour grapes.
Nome – Yup I guess phool’s rise to blog superstardom has been going slower than he expected. I see that not a single visitor has commented on any of his posts since November 2nd. Can you imagine how depressing that would be to a sane person ? To feverishly work your fullstop key to the bone every day, searching for other peoples work to copying and paste with all your might, hopefully checking your site for some form of acknowledgement of your genius only to realise that absolutely no-one has cared enough to comment, AGAIN, for the nineteenth day in a row. Sad indeed.
There’s evidence of dataset falsification, where Phil Jones tells a colleague that Steve MacIntyre (ClimateAudit.org) had discovered they’d switched Tree ring data (used for estimating past temperatures)
There’s an increasing sense that Phil Jones is waging war against the skeptics as the emails date closer to the present. (‘but I would ignore the so-called skeptics until they get to the peer-review arena‘)
There’s evidence of stacking peer review panels with like-minded scientists while excluding others (‘the last two on the list (w/ question marks) would be unwise choices because they are likely to cause conflict than to contribute to concensus and progress‘)
He cheers the death of a leading climate change skeptic. And there’s more …
Stuff headline still reads “Hundreds march over government inaction”, but they’ve updated the text to 5,000. Must really piss them off to report the truth, rather than their version of the truth.
The bloggers are picking on Phool.
Go have another suck on the bong Phool, you will feel better.
Stack it up real good and destroy the few brain cells you have left. The spring oil is good this year I hear.
A hundred dollars per person Hurf? that is about a days worth of laboring so much for being a fizz then, i guess it is hard for the usual suspects to comprehend.
Gotta go
Scotch fillet steak was on special and now it’s on the BBQ.
Just the steak, don’t want to spoil the taste with any fancy seasoning.
Gimme my steak!!
Shit but what the fuck would we talk about if Phool wasn’t here?
women, taxes, the economy, beer, whisky*, food, fishing, cars, inflation, trade policies, international relations, rugby, soccer, hockey, cricket, swimming, cycling, boating, travel, local government, roading, the contribution of the thong-bikini to NAFTA etc.
* Generally I’m quite partial to single malts done in the Island style. They’ve got a proper bite and flavour.
Come to think of it you are dead right there Chthoniid. I have become single-focused.
The world is huge and it it does not involve Phool.
Perhaps we could create a new begining on DPF’s blog.
A beginning where men were free and did not rely on Phool for topics.
I suggest we give the cops Whoar’s address, so the bludger’s kitchen can be raided and the scumbag sent to Paremoremo. It would be the best Christmas present Kiwiblog readers could get.
“You fed your kid yet, or is he still curled up in a ball in the corner, starving?”
Nah, phil left the kid home alone in dereliction of his taxpayer sponsored duties. The boy’s probably hangin’ out in a bus shelter sniffin’ glue or tagging someone’s fence.
The kid is washing the dishes and doing the other housework.
The kid rolled up a beauty stoggie for his Dad Dad Dad, so the Phool can sit on his Arse arse arse
Stupid drug crazed prick, and we all pay for the tosser
Probably we just want to know how a fuckwit’s brain works, or indeed if it does work.
Reason being that we want know the warning signs of how a deranged idiot goes from acceptable to needing a 12 gauge
Steve at 5.46 p.m.
I hope you had a decent merlot with the steak.
Your comments about steak remind of the bloke who, when asked if he would like greens, replied;
“Greens is what food eats.”
Phool the fuckwit went to the march, had some discussion and went home.
Wow! what a day, he got off his arse and went to the march.
Who paid for this? who gave Phool enough money to travel? He drove a car? He went on a bus?
Oh, I know the Government paid, well NO you parasite, the taxpayer paid.
You useless scumbag, you used our money to go to a protest.
Yeehaa, money well spent not
Won’t be long Mr Phillip Ure, your time has come
Steve,
Your 8.32 post suggests that you had some dreadful west Auckland claret with the steak. Let the moths out of your wallet and get some decent Gimblett gravels wine.
This is the phool as reported by Whaleoil at a bloggers outing:
and one sole Green, Vegan obnoxious ass.
The aforementioned obnoxious ass proceeded to annoy a stroppy objectivist who told him to fuck off or step outside and get sorted. She was pretty formidable and I don’t think I’d like to go a couple of rounds with her. Her “crime” in the mind of the obnoxious ass was to mention that countries could legitimately invade other countries in order to protect their supply lines of important resources and as an added bonus deliver that same country from the clutches of an evil dictator and provide democracy to the region. The aforementioned obnoxious ass then proceeded on the basis of that to tell the objectivist that she had no morals. Well the ensuing screaming and yelling was a sight to behold and wonderfully spectacular. Cactus was enjoying herself immensely.
Talk then got around then the the evils of the empire building of Amerika, the evilness of the Jewish empire, the support of the evil Palestinian killing Jewish empire by the evil Amerikan empire, dirty farming, the perils of having a minimum wage, and evil finance company directors who “stole” the “life-savings” of greedy old fools.
Well it was pretty much all against one at this point
Cactus Kate explained the benefits of having no minimum wage and based it around how much an hour a maid is paid to clean her apartments ($2.50p/h). The aforementioned obnoxious ass thought that this was akin to slave labour. To which Cactus replied that his reasoning was rubbish. The Maid had a job, better paid than the one she wouldn’t have had in the Philippines, her bathroom got cleaned for about $5.00 which she was never going to do, the maid got to save some of her wages and send the money home to her village where her family could buy a house. All round a great winner. She then went on to say that the going rate for farm hands at the moment is about $25.00p/h and that if the Crafars had instead of employing one dimwitted fool for way above his pay grade, in the ideal world they could have had 10 Filipinos working for the same amount thus ensuring all the necessary jobs got done, employed third world people who otherwise wouldn’t have had a job and improve productivity of the farms at the same time, plus with the added benefit that the job would be done at a higher quality.
Well this raised the blood pressure of the aforementioned obnoxious ass who promptly changed the subject to something else while being lambasted for being racist because he didn’t want third world labourers in New Zealand. His next topic for discussion then centred around the minimum wage. Cactus Kate asked why he should sit on the DPB when he could easily get a minimum wage job. His answer was that he had a Masters Degree and thus was over qualified for minimum wage jobs. The howls of elitist and racist were by now being hurled by all across the table at the aforementioned obnoxious ass.
The aforementioned obnoxious ass then decided to rail against evil Finance Company Directors when the real guilty people were the advisors who took commission to put their customers into the dodgy investments in the first place.
At this point Cactus Kate pointed out to the aforementioned obnoxious ass that he was exactly the type of person that developers like Andrew Krukziener was able to take advantage of and that they deserved to be tucked. She then asked if “The Crook” came in and offered him a debenture at 15% would he take it? The aforementioned obnoxious ass for some reason didn’t know that Andrew Krukziener’s nickname around town is “The Crook” and asked who that was.
So Cactus Kate asked the question again like this “If the little jew offered you 15% on a debenture would you invest?
The reaction from aforementioned obnoxious ass was simply spectacular. He stood up called us all racists and anti-semites, forgetting that he had just 5 minutes before been telling how evil the Jewish State was for killing innocent Palestinians. He then stormed off muttering and screaming to resounding applause and high fives from all the rest of us.
Now this is the funny part. We had objectivists, libertarians, fundy Christians, Conservative Christians, atheists, agnostics, homos, dying people, National supporters, Act supporters, Cactus Kate who is a category all on her own and one leftist, green aforementioned obnoxious ass. Everyone but him got on fine with much hilarity for the entire night except for this humourless prick.
The only pity was the only other little jew I know (DPF) wasn’t there to see the fireworks because he resides in Wellington.

The liberal bloggers are going crazy over a video that purports to show a crowd angry because they couldn’t get their books signed at an event in Noblesville. So I did some research and this is what I came up with.
Unlike the liberal bloggers who are claiming she was only there for 30 minutes and then whisked off, in fact she was there from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM
…
One woman hollering into a microphone, in what looks to be a staged event by some liberals to somehow prove some sort of point, does not an angry mob make.
I purposely am not posting the video, or a link to the liberal sites trying to make it go viral simply for the reason that I am not going to contribute to their attempts. You want it, visit any liberal blog and I am sure they will have it posted.
Oh, and there’s your “source,” the HuffShit. Good to know what taxpayers spend their money on: you looking at lefty shit.
Sorry about the above post but maybe DPF will learn that freedom of speech that is constantly obnoxius by one blogger who does nothing but denigrate his most excellence site, and his intelligent audience/commenters, can do nothing but damage his site and ruin his ratings.
Surely DPF must do something about the phool who who whores his site (whoar) on his site (kiwiblog)
I think even the reasoned must say enough is enough.

You ever considered having an original thought, Luc?
Answer: Descartes stole my best one. I was so pissed off when I got got uni and found out the thought I had been harbouring since I was about 14 was already taken. So sad. Mind you, I think (no pun intended) he was more succinct than what I would have managed. But as the ladies often say, it’s the thought that counts.

A post as deceptive as ever, Luc (3.21pm). But thanks for the link to the article itself.
The quote is not – as you imply – a statement by the NZ Herald (as in an editorial). It is a comment reported in the Herald and attributed to a little-know immigrant musician.
Answer: Sweetheart, I just never knew you cared that much. But picky, picky. You’re not related to getstaffed are you? And I am so deceptive I supplied the link to the article. Once again, on here, I don’t write PhD theses – generally just a quick chat and leave you to do your own follow up. Spoon fed, I don’t do. But by all means, tell me how you would have preferred the attribution to read and I will, as always, do my best to please.
And by the way, his side won.
Johnboy, I believe one of the reasons Murray got the boot was his potty mouth, the non stop double entendres.
Generally, it would be a pleasant change to find something factually based and tightly reasoned here; just once in a while, except from me and a few others. I learn a lot from those who do so, including those who oppose me – in fact, they are invaluable. And I am not saying all my posts are like that; I like to have fun too
But a bit less ad hominem and a bit more debate on the issues would be cool.
Maybe DPF could set up a separate, moderated GD and leave this for the racists, the Islamaphobics, the deniers, the conspiracy theorists…hmmm, on second thoughts, it might get lonely in there!
General debate on kiwiblog = Phil and his fan club. Phil has done a good job hijacking this space. Well done Pied Piper Phil now could you please take your followers home to whoar?
Holy shit Batman, looks like Ron Paul’s efforts to have the Federal Reserve audited are moving into the realms of possibility!!! Now this will be the largest turd to hit the poor man’s air conditioning unit for many, many years if it gets all the way through. I can’t wait. OK Ben, what have you been doing with the money?
Luc Hansen’s 10.19 posts clinches it! Luc Hansen is a ghost, a synthetic creation of one or more anonymous posters either having fun or out to rile us righties.
The evidence: no human has ever been so preposterously self-opinionated as the “Luc Hansen” personification, nor could any human conceivably be so self-opinionated. It is a physical/medical impossibility for so big a head to go up the same human’s arse, despite this being portrayed by Luc’s postings.
Thus “Luc Hansen” cannot possibly exist as a living, breathing human.
I hope the string pullers of the internet puppet known as “Luc Hansen” have had fun. They would have got a way with their game longer if they had made a just a fewer posts and had kept Loathsome Luc within plausible bounds.
CRU Hack – All the emails are online and searchable. There’s tonnes of routine correspondance in here, but some pretty desperate stuff as well, more so in the later emails.

Hmmm! Nobody here yet!

Time to expose the scam that is AGW.

Oh dear, a whole lot of material to the global Warming crowd has escaped into the public domain
Here is how the Guardian attempts to justify the behavior of these scientists

November 21st, 2009 at 8:56 am
If you look through the leaked information, you can see the fortunes of tax payer money that these scumbags got to obtain these data. They have no rights to them whatsoever. All they did is use all tis money to twist and change the data to suit their models. That’s not science, that’s fraud and these jokers should go to jail, an dnot to cosey conferences. The whole thing is a hoax and now it’s been irrefutably proven. Who can’t see that is an idiot.
November 21st, 2009 at 9:09 am
Incredible spin. One of the more damming emails is dated 1999, way back when these ’scientists’ were able to weave their scam with total freedom from scrutiny.
November 21st, 2009 at 9:19 am
The release of emails may well be embarrassing. But it doesn’t change the large amount of research and data worldwide. And the seasons they keep on changing. Hard to argue with nature.
There is much less chance of a climate scam conspiracy than there is of a 9-11 conspiracy – far more people and countries involved, it would be impossible for a co-ordinated campaign on that scale to be agreed on let alone for it to remain secret.
November 21st, 2009 at 9:28 am
So Pete, what do you make of this dishonesty: Huricanes: Not finding enough, Gore airbrushes in more for his new book, while removing Arctic ice ?
That you can remain staunchly committed to the AGW scam, when the great prophet Algore is regularly shown up as a liar and charlatan strikes me as a bit odd.
November 21st, 2009 at 9:40 am
I don’t take as much notice of the whole AGW furor now as I did ten years ago, in light of the predictable failure of Kyoto and the even more predictable Copenhagen face plant.
But occasionally there is a story so scientifically annoying that it can’t be ignored. In this case it’s the Himalayan glaciers: turns out that they’re not melting after all. Key quotes:
But the money shot is this one:

I thought that this pacific island banjo music would be good one to listen to may be once, prior to drinking beers (for those who are going to later in the day) and perhaps geared up some who will watch the All Blacks smashing England big time tomorrow morning. The old timer’s singing group is my uncle’s group (the one with red/white aloha shirt playing the 2nd violin).
Taulanga Puatalefusi (Tongan meaning : port of refuge)
The England team think they can find comfort and refuge in Wilkinson’s boots, but that is a miscalculation. All Blacks by at least 25 points.

November 21st, 2009 at 10:11 am
Pete G – what do you think this does to Peer Review then? There was an orchastrated attempt to stack the Peer Review process. This leads to bad(wrong) science. The papers in some of these journals may as well be toilet paper cause some will not be worth a pinch of shit as the data will have been falsified. The warmers will fob this off of course but there is a REAL creditability problem here as these people are prominent in the making of the IPCC TAR4. As I have always said. AGW is all abot tax and control, nothing more than a scam.

I though I would make a quick post off before I go on the March for Democracy,.
I just noticed John Roughan’s opinion piece, “Decisions better from elected heads”
http://www.nzherald.co.nz/opinion/news/article.cfm?c_id=466&objectid=10610615
Below is an excerpt.

None Climate Change Topic:
If anyone doubts that the NZX fails to provide decent and transparent info to common shareholders, have a look at this needlessly complex and confused ’statement’:
http://www.nzx.com/markets/NZSX/FPA/announcements/2916312/SSH-Notice-Orbis-Australia
November 21st, 2009 at 10:53 am

Some Probably Racist Waiting Staff – Yesterday

Interesting reading from Crusader Rabbit…

New topic…
November 21st, 2009 at 1:11 pm
There is a difference between actually practicing plagiarism (sackable) and merely commenting on it in an opinion piece with unusual mildness. Also, it would be more disturbing surely, if any person who writes a literary review for Fairfax was required to echo company opinion on something. And the sub-editors would have been deeply wrong to have put words into, or taken words out of, the reviewer’s mouth.

If Peter Williams is supporting Hone, then I’m backing the Maori party.
November 21st, 2009 at 1:37 pm
Re S. Russell’s 1.11 post.

You ever considered having an original thought, Luc?
November 21st, 2009 at 3:26 pm
as i predicted the other day..
the ‘march for democracy’ was a total fizzer/a joke..
2,500-3,000 max..(heh..!..)
http://whoar.co.nz/2009/comment-whoarthe-biggest-demonstration-in-new-zealand-historywas-a-big-fizzer/
what was promoted as being the biggest demo ..ever..
is perhaps the biggest fizzer..ever..
the herald is claiming 4-5,000 thousand marchers..
but it was 2,500-3,000 max..
so lets be generous and say 3,000..
(i mean..the marchers only filled one block of queen st..
as the tail crossed swanson st..the nose was entering the queen st/vic st intersection..
if that’s 5,000..i’ll eat my blog..)
i had some fun..baiting the scattered rightie crowd..
and is was a mish-mash of causes..
family first/sensible sentencing/the smackers..
and an interesting variety of placards..
from ‘john key is revoting’..
to ..’adam and eve is ok..not adam and steve’..
so..$500,000 divided by 3,000 = about $166 per marcher..
d’yareckon that guy who pissed a half a mill up against the wall on this..will be feeling a bit sick now..?

With public support for AGW already at new lows compared to several years ago, there’s nothing people love more than evilmongers conspiring for their own gain. And this is that conspiry. It means a hell of a lot more than a thousand peer-reviewed journal articles and white papers.

I do hope Phool remembered to feed his teenaged son before he left, considering he can’t do anything to look after himself. Otherwise, that’s child abuse. And that’s a criminal offence.

November 21st, 2009 at 4:37 pm
“i said it wa going to be ‘a fizzer’.”
November 21st, 2009 at 4:38 pm

Banana, I almost gave myself a high-five when I heard that Blair had lost. The last thing Europe needed was for that prick to be in charge.
As far as the appointee goes, I’m not yet familiar with them so prefer not to make any comment. What are your thoughts?
November 21st, 2009 at 4:41 pm
So, let’s admit some scientists seem to have displayed questionable ethics and motives at times, but the evidence is so fast moving and compelling that the email controversy becomes just annoying background noise, the domain of narcissistic fanatics.

this march turnout is the final nails into the coffin of that issue..

Yeah but so what, phil? It was his money. Personally, I wouldn’t have spent it on this issue or any other.
“There is no groundswell of opposition to or resentment at the anti-smacking law because it is shown to be uncontroversial in practice.”
Luc if you really think that then you’re a very dull boy indeed. I suggest you go and ask around.

Um—- yes —-so —-um—- don’t quite follow—–that trait was ——um—-what?
I am of course deeply honoured to be compared with an Icon of Wellington (NZ) rugby. But your inference is lost on me Luc.

That CRU hack is a gold mine…
I’ve found one email where Phil Jones (top climate dog) is instructing his team to delete any emails about their contribution to IPCC’s [then forthcoming] AR4 report.. before a FOI (‘Freedom of Information’) request was lodged. Suspect at best, illegal at worst.
Unsure about the legalities of including such email text – and wouldn’t want to see DPF in the dock. DPF – can you advise?
November 21st, 2009 at 4:47 pm
November 21st, 2009 at 4:47 pm

Phool:
Speaking of numbers, specifically Techorati numbers, how’s your march to global blog supremacy coming along?
Remember this?
30 July to 21 November is, er, nearly 4 months. Guess you no longer “expect to be off that dpb sooner..rather than later” then?
November 21st, 2009 at 4:50 pm
November 21st, 2009 at 4:51 pm

November 21st, 2009 at 5:13 pm
Nome – Yup I guess phool’s rise to blog superstardom has been going slower than he expected. I see that not a single visitor has commented on any of his posts since November 2nd. Can you imagine how depressing that would be to a sane person ? To feverishly work your fullstop key to the bone every day, searching for other peoples work to copying and paste with all your might, hopefully checking your site for some form of acknowledgement of your genius only to realise that absolutely no-one has cared enough to comment, AGAIN, for the nineteenth day in a row. Sad indeed.

CRU Hack –

Todays shit from the phool

“.and his intelligent audience/commenters,.” that does exclude you of course.
Further, a couple of days ago you called me a moron and stated you would not reply to my posts.
Keep your word you hypocrite.

A whole thread devoted to Puke Hansen throwing around his moral superiority? I’m not sure DPF has that much bandwidth to waste.

Fed to be audited?
http://tinyurl.com/ydohew7

Final thought for the night. Let’s give poor old Philu (Philip Ure) a break.
Let’s each chip in a few bucks and shout him to Australia with Chthoniid on Chthoniid’s next visit to the big salt crocodiles.
It would do all of us the world of good.

CRU Hack – All the emails are online and searchable. There’s tonnes of routine correspondance in here, but some pretty desperate stuff as well, more so in the later emails.

I just feel sorry for Phil’s kid. The lad doesn’t stand a chance.
