I checked with the old office and they do not work that patch anymore. They said that OZ and NZ used to have the assets needed but have had them withdrawn due to a refocus on home grown jihadis. They suggested that I contact the Chinese, but with the proviso that China has grown rather fond of the Commodore as of late and therefore might not be interested in regime change given that things are looking up for them in Fiji and elsewhere in the SoPac.

I saw on the news on State television that Bill English has some chaps working on tax changes and a possible end to real estate being such a good tax break.

One comment which was made was that any changes will be ‘Revenue Neutral’, meaning that the amount of taxes collected must not fall.

Do any of the National or ACT chappies on here care to comment on their Government conceeding that there will never, ever be any actual tax cuts?

A bank in the US has just gone belly up, no surprises really except that it is the country’s 5th biggest bank and was bailed out last Nov to the tune of 2.3 billion US smackeroos! That’s a bit of a blow to Obama. Mind you, I think he’s getting used to it although he is looking a bit punch drunk at the moment
