Hone goes off the deep end Add this story to Scoopit!.

Let’s just put this in a nutshell:

1. Hone wags a meeting he flew to the other side of the world to attend so that he can see beautiful Paris instead.

If Joe the freezing worker or Joanne the policy analyst wagged work to go to the movies what would happen to them?  And, remember this is the second time that Hone has done this.  In the real world he may have got a warning for the first time, what would happen for the second time?

2. Hone sends highly offensive emails and invites the recipient to go to the media.

Hmmm… if Joanne the policy analyst did the same what would happen to her job?  Especially since she is already under at least one warning for wagging work to go to the movies.

And, is this behaviour, wagging and offensive language, appropriate for a Member of Parliament or a Member of the Maori Party?  It seems to me that all the wrong messages are being sent thanks to Hone’s actions.  Terrible messages like all MPs rort the system, Maori will wag work to do the fun stuff, etc etc.

Hone, own up to what you’ve done and allow someone with some integrity from the Maori Party to take your position.  Your mana is disappearing as we speak, and not even John Key or Pita Sharples can enhance it now.

  1. Steve (922) Says:

Hone is being picked on because he is Maori

  2. Jadis (91) Says:

OK, a bit like Chris Carter was picked on because he is gay. It must be hard work to avoid responsibility all the damn time

  3. starboard (812) Says:

Loser.. loser.. loser.. but its ok..he’s maori.

  4. Johnboy (2297) Says:

Leave poor Hone alone he’s just trying to look tougher than his Mummy.

  5. voice of reason (80) Says:

Its pretty obvious – his sense of entitlement is much more developed than his sense of responsibility

  6. labrator (625) Says:

White motherfuckers have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries and all of a sudden you want me to play along with their puritanical bullshit.

Awesome, an elected representative of our country thinks that a large percentage of this country is a bunch of “white motherfuckers”. As he’s likely part “white motherfucker” himself, I wonder how he manages to avoid his own “puritanical bullshit”.

  7. ben (671) Says:

(edit: ok just saw his emails. Looks like it is a racial thing afterall. Nice one Hone). Hone’s heritage doesn’t have anything to do with this, far as I can tell. Nobody is less outraged at Rodney Hide at the moment.

  8. Jadis (91) Says:

I suspect it is more the comments that Hone made that mean some will make it a Maori issue. Ultimately, it isn’t. It is Hone’s issue, and he needs to take responsibility for all of it, and receive the appropriate consequences.

  9. big bruv (5661) Says:

    Fuck me!

I have always thought that Neville Key is gutless but this is just about the last straw!

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/politics/3037942/PM-Harawiras-white-tirade-deeply-offensive/

Neville has said that he thinks John Harawhira’s comment are “deeply offensive”, of course most Kiwi’s would agree with him, however, he (Key) then goes on to display an even more gutless (and frankly evil) side by saying that he will leave it to the Mowree party to deal with him.

Well Neville, what on earth thinks that the Apartheid party will deal with this?, in their entire political life the Mowree party have shown that they are more than happy to let John Harawhira make these types of statement, the reality is that Harawhira only says what the rest of the Apartheid party thinks.

Key should have made it crystal clear that unless John Harawhira is sacked he will end the coalition with the Apartheid party, for Key to demand anything less will only confirm what many of us think, that Key will do anything and put up with anything just as long as he stays in power.

  10. Scorpio (195) Says:

He must resign from parliament. It’s the only honourable thing to do.

  11. Angus (400) Says:

He’ll get away with it. I’d wager Turia and Sharples agree with him to some extent, as do a good number of his more disaffected constituents.

    The Maori Party are untouchable.

  12. bill hicks (96) Says:

Hone Pani Tamati Waka Nene Harawira you are a disgrace. Hop back in your canoe and grass skirt and rejoin your native root……………………….

  13. david (1275) Says:

John Harawira is intent on maintaining the “Maoris are victims” status that underpins the whole philosophy of radicals like him and the Maori Party in general. Without that they are just a bunch of ignorant loser whingers destined to breast feed shovels for want of either ambition or talent. He doesn’t do comedy particularly well either if his attempt to giggle like Billy-T and laugh it off on TV was anything to go by last night.

If we need one reason to get rid of MMP, he is it.

  14. PinkGina (73) Says:

    Steve

He’s not being picked on cause he’s Maori, he’s taking the piss out of all non maori. it’s racist and if the roles were reversed and a non maori said similar things about maori all hell would break loose.

It’s time to show this idiot a thing or two about 21st century civilisation.

    Get rid of him

  15. Bevan (1934) Says:

Since when does Hone give a shit what you white fullas think? He is the most racist member of parliament, and he gets away with it because the rest of them are too afraid at being called a racist.

And dream on if you think he will quit – his polling wont go down from this, it will go up! Hone is nothing more that a racist wanker and all he is doing is speaking the minds of the majority who elected him.

  16. RRM (1858) Says:

In fairness to Hone, does he think ALL whities are motherfuckers? I don’t think that’s clear from the e mails. It’s certainly not stated explicitly. I’m unclear if I’m one of the ones raping his land too…

  17. Le Grande Fromage (96) Says:

“If Joe the freezing worker or Joanne the policy analyst wagged work to go to the movies what would happen to them?”

    Joe would be fired.

Joanne (presuming she is a civil servant) would be placed on full paid stress leave as her behaviour was likely a cry for help from some unspeakable pressure that her job has burdened on her.

  18. whalehunter (147) Says:

well we will just have to go back to his rules. in which case we could kill him and eat him.

  19. PaulL (3187) Says:

Actually, Le Grande Fromage, I think you’ll find that Joanne will be in need of family friendly policies in the workplace, and in the name of gender diversity we’ll probably want to let her work fewer hours than her male peers (for the same pay of course).

  20. Chris2 (196) Says:

It is indeed ironic, given his obvious hatred of white society, that he was so desperate to visit Paris – a city civilized and built by white people….

Terrorist are the same – they all profess their hatred of America, but would be first in line for the US Green card.

  21. Viking2 (1409) Says:

What a bloody good laugh for a Friday. Its hillarious watching all the hand wringers come out. Key should have just STFU and left Hone to it.

I for one am not offended even if I do fit his description. I can give it back just as he can dish it out. I wonder if he could accept that.

  22. ropata (96) Says:

“Hone the horrible” : victimhood and racial sh*t-stirring has worked pretty well for him so far…

  23. tvb (776) Says:

No more Speakers’ trips for Harawera, he obviously abuses the privilege. And I think the matter should be referred to the privileges committee as he deliberately bunked a MPs trip so he could engage in a personal sight seeing trip with his wife. Rather than contrition he goes on the attack and throws in a whole lot of offensive remarks about white people. Frankly we don’t care, he can say what he likes such is his low status.

  24. dime (1929) Says:

was just listening to radio live.

they pretty much said what rodney has done is much worse. they base that on the fact that we already knew Hone was a piece of shit.

i love that standard – be a good guy, make a fuck up and get hell from everyone.

    BUT

start out as a sack of shit and its all good! do what you want without question

  25. 3-coil (687) Says:

Why is anybody surprised at Hone’s actions (skiving off to see Paris) or subsequent TV and e-mail outbursts? What you see is what you get.

Harawira is the product of his dysfuntional family and his race-based Maori political party – that he harbours his seething racist bitterness has always been obvious for all (except the wilfully ignorant) to see. Also, don’t be surprised folks – this attitude is not unique to Hone, there are thousands of his bros with exactly the same anti-pakeha racist prejudices.

  26. jabba (280) Says:

he must NOT be fired. I think the guy wants out of Parlnament and this his his way of doing it. If he resigned as the suggestion was a few months ago, he would have looked like a quiter, by being fired for this latest outburst, he would gain some weird sort of mana.
he is a loose cannon and he isn’t the only one.

  27. Repton (433) Says:

If we need one reason to get rid of MMP, he is it.

You realise that the Maori Party have no list seats at all?

Ditching MMP will increase the political influence of the Maori Party..

  28. dime (1929) Says:

least he didnt meet with the brethrens?

  29. Swiftman the infidel (167) Says:

When are we going to stop calling these people Maori. It’s so dishonest.

My ancestors came from Scotland, Ireland and England. But I don’t put on a kilt, affect a Scottish accent, eat haggis, play bagpipes and disrespect the Irish as stupid and the English as the cause of all the world’s problems.

I suggest we STOP calling them Maori.

    Any ideas?

    Neo-Maoris?
    Paori?
    Makeha?

  30. transmogrifier (282) Says:

In terms of the original offence, Hide and Harawira are more or less equal; Rodney uses a bullshit fact-finding jaunt to cover the expenses for personal arrangements, Hone ditches work which we’ve paid him to do to go scratch a sightseeing itch.

However, Hone’s subsequent reaction means he is the winner of “Perkiest Douchebag of the Week” award.

  31. Put it away (618) Says:

Maybe he was off studying hip-hop

  32. Right of way is Way of Right (761) Says:

Well, as it’s Friday, the sun is shining, and it’s nearly 1.00 pm, I may just do a ‘Hone’!

I only have to justify myself to my people anyway!

  33. jabba (280) Says:

as far as the trip to Paris is concerned, he must have been amazed by all the really old stuff, you know centries old, and wondered why his people didn’t think of that as well.

  34. Shunda barunda (1000) Says:

Hone has no respect for the position he holds but worse in my opinion ,he has no respect for his own people.
He is in effect using the Maori people as an excuse for his personal lack of integrity, other Maori should be outraged.

  35. Steve (922) Says:

    Pinkgina,
    “he’s taking the piss?”

    So was I.

  36. gopolks (48) Says:

Where is the race relations commissioner?

  37. Johnboy (2297) Says:

Issuing good citizen awards to pakeha-bashers.

  38. gopolks (48) Says:

The Standard latest post is supporting Hone 100% they thought he was hilarious, they dont of course mention what he said.

  39. Swiftman the infidel (167) Says:

The race relations conciliator is busy sticking his fingers in his ears.

  40. Fletch (896) Says:

The race relations conciliator is busy sticking his fingers in his ears.

Nah, he’ll probably give Hone a nice certificate for standing up for himself.

  41. Johnboy (2297) Says:

‘He is in effect using the Maori people as an excuse for his personal lack of integrity, other Maori should be outraged.’

Should be pal but most of them admire him as a hero because they are mostly thick bastards and resent the white race for our success.

  42. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

This thread is gonna get so hilarious.

  43. Exclamation Mark (52) Says:

The funny thing, is the meeting he wagged off in Brussels was on “Multicultralism”.

Sounds like the dopey fucknut might have actually benefited from going to it, perhaps he might have actually learned something .

  44. stephen (3479) Says:

The Standard latest post is supporting Hone 100% they thought he was hilarious, they dont of course mention what he said.

That’s actually just one guy, there isn’t a statement of support from all the other Standard bloggers at the bottom. Not that I expect too many to object – is the way on partisan blogs.

  45. Swiftman the infidel (167) Says:

Hone is the sad half-caste result of a cannibal race turned baby killers.

    Ouch!

  46. stephen (3479) Says:

This thread is gonna get so hilarious.

I dunno. You have a theory of ‘blog-comment-evolution-when-everyone-is-suitably-outraged’ you’d like to share with us?

  47. Brian Smaller (2525) Says:

I have no problem with Hone saying what he did. I believe in free speech so being outraged at what people say is the price of freedom. . However, he should be prepared to hear similar stuff back at him. Hone is a fuckwit, a bludger and a disgrace, and people like him have been holding this country back for fifty years.

  48. Johnboy (2297) Says:

‘The Standard latest post is supporting Hone 100% they thought he was hilarious, they dont of course mention what he said.’

How can the bloody hypocrites support a star of the “Haters & wreckers” Maori party that was born out of Helens perfidy?

  49. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

I dunno. You have a theory of ‘blog-comment-evolution-when-everyone-is-suitably-outraged’ you’d like to share with us?

I never thought of it that way, but yes, I kind of do. Not quite sure how I’d phrase it. I’ll see if I can put it into words as this thread becomes increasingly hilarious.

  50. stephen (3479) Says:

I’d call it something imaginative like ‘Sproull’s Law’, once it’s suitably refined.

  51. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

Sproull’s Law already exists, my friend:

“Anyone correcting someone else’s spelling or grammar on the internet will inevitably make a spelling or grammatical mistake themselves in doing so.”

  52. s.russell (519) Says:

If we need one reason to get rid of MMP, he is it.

Huh? Perhaps you haven’t noticed that Harawira is an electorate MP?

A return to FPP would pretty nearly get of all the minor parties, except one: The Maori Party. Because its success is based on winning electorates (it has no list seats) FPP would actually make it more powerful. In a 120 seat FPP Parliament there would be 12 Maori seats, and the MP would (on the basis of their current 5/7) win 9. They would hold the balance of power on a semi-permanent basis.

  53. Le Grande Fromage (96) Says:

What does Hone Harawira and a pair of moccasins have in common?

They are both tasteless brown loafers

  54. 2boyz (55) Says:

    I say F**k the F**ken F**ker and he should F**k off, F**kwit. If whitey said that…..

  55. stephen (3479) Says:

‘Sproull’s Second Law of Blog Discourse’

  56. Right of way is Way of Right (761) Says:

I would love to see the full text of the e-mails. Are they being released?

  57. PinkGina (73) Says:

    Will Harawira front up?

Imagine a “Close Up” interview or with Holmes on Sunday morning

Bro Town’s best selling episode – Hone and Honky

Billy T wouldn’t say things like this – classic irony

  58. Murray M (455) Says:

It’s time this apartheid party was banished. Turia has on numerous occaisions made racist comments. Sharples with his telling the gangs to stop killing each other and turn their attentions on whitey, and now Harawira with this bullshit. They are the most cancerous and corrosive bunch of haters and wreckers to ever sit in parliament.

I have a Chinese mate who along with others of similair nationalities are waiting for their numbers to exceed that of so-called Maori, they intend to sort out these people they perceive as being brown useless lazy pieces of shit and a drain on the economy of New Zealand, a country they love and are grateful to reside in.

  59. Brian Smaller (2525) Says:

“Anyone correcting someone else’s spelling or grammar on the internet will inevitably make a spelling or grammatical mistake themselves in doing so.”

What a load of carp Ryan.

  60. Nigel (251) Says:

Nice post Jadis, nailed it !!.

  61. big bruv (5661) Says:

I do not fucking believe it!

I have just heard a new clip on the radio where Neville Key defended Harawhira, I do not have the exact quote but it goes something like “well there are two sides to this story” and “Hone was only reacting to a provocative email”.

Why is Key defending this racist wanker?, I can only assume he has been told that the apartheid party have no intention of sacking Harawhira so Key is trying his best to kill the story lest it destabilise his government.

Either way, it just goes to show how much of a gutless wanker Key is.

  62. starboard (812) Says:

Whats black and brown and would look so good on John Harawira ?

    A Doberman.

  63. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

‘Sproull’s Second Law of Blog Discourse’

    I like it, Stephen.

It’s something about how contentious emotive topics tend over time towards a 100% saturation of embarassingly ignorant and offensive terms and rants. The more polite commenters leave the thread in exponentially increasing numbers. It’s like white flight, but for politeness and sanity.

I suppose it’s worth noting that I find it hilarious when people fling racist, homophobic and generally offensive comments around. So it’s less a law and more my flavour of ice cream.

  64. Johnboy (2297) Says:

Don’t tell anyone Ryan but some of us do it just to get your second law off to a good start. :)

Must get back to the muslims now. :)

  65. ropata (96) Says:

John Key’s response is a time honoured tradition.
Hana Te Hemara, the person at the centre of the “Kill a White” row, has threatened to sue Auckland’s Sunday Star newspaper because the paper has refused to apologise for running the original story. Hana Te Hemara says the media blew the whole issue out of proportion and she wants an apology. Auckland District Maori Council chairman Dr Ranginui Walker condemns the media for only presenting the negative side of race relations. Jim Tully, director of the School of Journalism at Canterbury University, says the Race Relations Concilliator’s ruling that the Auckland Star should apologise, is ridiculous. Wally Hirsh talks about the options if the Auckland Star does not apologise.

  66. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

    Uh-oh, Johnboy – I may have to rename it Sproull’s 17th Self-fulfilling Prophecy.

  67. starboard (812) Says:

…nice..the john and silly willy show on radio live are backing their black brother all the way…

  68. stephen (3479) Says:

It’s something about how contentious emotive topics tend over time towards a 100% saturation of embarassingly ignorant and offensive terms and rants.

I can just imagine an earnest social theorist ticking terms off on a clipboard.

The more polite commenters leave the thread in exponentially increasing numbers. It’s like white flight, but for politeness and sanity.

I suppose it’s worth noting that I find it hilarious when people fling racist, homophobic and generally offensive comments around.

Your hilarity is not like our earth hilarity. But i know what you mean about getting out of Dodge.

  69. Banana Llama (705) Says:

Still no word from race relations?
Those Motherfuckers should be thankful i havn’t strung them up by their hind quarters, truly a fitting end.

  70. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

Your hilarity is not like our earth hilarity.

    Don’t I know it.

But i know what you mean about getting out of Dodge.

    Polite Flight!

  71. wreck1080 (940) Says:

Hone is just reinforcing the stereotype of bludging maoris. He does his race no favour and sets no example.

Many maoris are proud of those who rip off the system, and even throw parades for convicted fraudsters. It’s a crazy world .

  72. Captain Neurotic (63) Says:

Is anyone else waiting with baited breath to hear Phools opinion?? I know I am!!!

  73. Put it away (618) Says:

Imagine what you could get away with if you Maori *and* and ass driller.

  74. stephen (3479) Says:

I was going to blame Ryan for derailing this thread off its proper course but who was I kidding.

  75. big bruv (5661) Says:

Note the way the Greens have remained silent about this, remember the Greens are the party that wants to introduce hate speech legislation, they are the party that wants to control what you say and to do their best to control what you think.

Can you imagine the screams of outrage from that stupid Delahunty wimin or that idiot Locke if these words had been uttered by a non Mowree MP?

Another classic example of Green party hypocrisy.

  76. Brian Smaller (2525) Says:

BB – you don’t have to imagine it. Look what happened when Laws made his comments to those kids about the H debate.

  77. James (784) Says:

Look…can we just end this racist bashing of poor Hone and get back to hysterically beating up on Rodney for….oh what was it?Trying to maintain a relationship (how retro) by spending his OWN deducted monies to take her on a short trip overseas that was oked by the PM twice?

    The rorting bastard!

  81. Yvette (523) Says:

“The race relations conciliator is busy sticking his fingers in his ears.”

So, probably, has the Speaker of the House in case someone asks him about the standards of the House of Representatives, regardless of who’s representative Hone is.

  82. getstaffed (4600) Says:

Most Maori I know are hard working, family-centric and would walk over broken glass to help other people out. I’m seeing a few of these folks over the weekend and will be interested to hear their comments.

My suspicion is that they’ll be deeply embarrassed by the actions of Hone, the separatist racist. It’s people like Hone, with his snout firmly in the trough and eagerly perpetuating resentment that are holding this country (and in particular Maori) back from progress as one nation.

For my part, that Key washes his hands of Hone’s blatantly disgraceful display of hatred is both cowardly and unforgivable.

  83. philu (7429) Says:

  84. big bruv (5661) Says:

    OK guys…..here it is….

The Mowree party is “preparing to discipline John Harawira”…………What a fucking joke!.

Unless the Mowree party demand his resignation then they condone this type of racist attitude.

  85. Positan (18) Says:

John Harawira’s understanding of easy-to-obtain New Zealand history is both introverted and corrupt. Maintaining that “White motherf****** have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries …” he somewhat pointedly overlooks the easily substantiated fact that for many centuries prior to the coming of the “white man” – and even after they arrived – his brethren were regularly dining upon each other as a matter of course.

The only explanation for his abominable display is that he’s as deranged as his actions convey.

  86. Ryan Sproull (3497) Says:

My suspicion is that they’ll be deeply embarrassed by the actions of Hone, the separatist racist.

  88. Manolo (1270) Says:

Hone is a true savage. What else can you expect from this uncouth, rough and undisciplined man?

  89. Jack5 (1596) Says:

Re James’ defence of Rodney Hide at 3.47…

You are way to late in slamming the stable door, James. Rodney Jekyll-Hide’s political horse has bolted.

We were trying to defend him when he shot off his mouth about Key in front of an incognito reporter.

  90. Lawrence Hakiwai (90) Says:

You do know Hone will be laughing his head off reading all of this.

He won’t be able to sit down for a week after Tari and Pita are finished with him but he won’t care.

And guess what, his constituents won’t either. They’ll say good on you Hone.

  91. getstaffed (4600) Says:

Why? Did they tell him to do it or something?

No Ryan. Probably because his racist outburst(s) are, in their eyes, and embarrassment to Maoridom. That’s all.

  92. malcolm (1105) Says:

    A few things I notice.

1] The former Waitangi Tribunal director Buddy Mikaere also seems to have a bit of anger towards his fellow Kiwis:

“… you’re no better than that w***er Rodney Hide and the white *mofos* you complain about,”

2] I haven’t seen the full emails anywhere. Surely we could better judge the situation if we were allowed to see them. Come on media; we’re big boys and girls.

3] Hone knows his “too” from his “to”:

“Gee Buddy, do you believe that white man bullshit too do you?”

I find that strangely comforting. Does my pleasure at that make me racist?

4] Hone wouldn’t last 5 minutes on Kiwiblog with his crude arguments:

“White motherf***ers have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries and all of a sudden you want me to play along with their puritanical bullshit.”

  93. malcolm (1105) Says:

“White motherf***ers have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries and all of a sudden you want me to play along with their puritanical bullshit.”

Translation: The white man has been ripping you off for centuries; now it’s my turn. Mofos.

  94. Kris K (1764) Says:

    Positan 4:40 pm,

John Harawira’s understanding of easy-to-obtain New Zealand history is both introverted and corrupt. Maintaining that “White motherf****** have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries …” he somewhat pointedly overlooks the easily substantiated fact that for many centuries prior to the coming of the “white man” – and even after they arrived – his brethren were regularly dining upon each other as a matter of course.

You know it’s not politically correct to remind Maori that they used to religiously slaughter and cannabilise each other. When will you people realise that we have all but erased this from our history books. And that Maori were just as civilised prior to the ‘white man’ coming as they were after his arrival. Hone is a nice guy; civilised even. And to remind him of his roots, well, just plain doesn’t fit in with our revisionist view of history. Just as with our permanent Maori seats in parliament, I think we should actually promote Hone to PM. How dare some of you criticise him – if you’ve hurt his feelings then I’m going to pay Joris de Bres a little visit and voice my concerns. You’re all just a bunch of white, middle class racists. And frankly, I’m disgusted!

  95. Robert Black (384) Says:

This is simply a reflection of the political system.

The Maori politicians who are actually voted in by the people will be the good ones, high standards, professional, wanting to go forward with a multi-cultural harmonious country.

The Maori party with their gifted seats of course are going to be a bunch of extermist, white loathing, thugs.

I mean what would you get if you gave four seats, without the vote of the people to the Neo Nazi party?

    You would get Neo Nazis.

Take those seats away and make Maoris, just like all other non-Maori politicians have the ability to get voted in.

    It is truly apartheid.

    It is sick.

It is anti-New Zealand as is the Maori party.

  96. Jack5 (1596) Says:

Malcom at 5.18 is correct in at least this point about former Waitangi Tribunal director Buddy Mikaere:

” … haven’t seen the full emails anywhere. Surely we could better judge the situation if we were allowed to see them. Come on media; we’re big boys and girls.”

The MSM were prompt and ruthless in reporting Rodney Hide’s remarks in Christchurch (and also in reporting second hand the alleged contents of alleged emails allegedly stolen from Don Brash). If it’s fair for the ACT white gander it’s fair for the Waitangi Tribunal brown goose. Print the full emails!

  97. Angus (400) Says:

Remember when that SOB cut down the tree on One Tree Hill to protest against “colonialism” ? Did he cut it down in protest using a hand-made greenstone adze ? No, he used one of the benefits brought to him by colonialism. He used a chainsaw.

  98. Jack5 (1596) Says:

Robert Black at 5.37: “It is truly apartheid.”

    Yep Robert, Bro-partheid.

  99. Adolf Fiinkensein (1402) Says:

They are available all over the media. Get yoour heads out of your arses.

  100. Captain Neurotic (63) Says:

I’m sorry Kris are you trying to be sarcastic or serious? I hate how sometimes emotion is lost in writing…

  101. starboard (812) Says:

You do know Hone will be laughing his head off reading all of this.

the cu*** lucky he still has his head on his shoulders…racist asshole…

  102. malcolm (1105) Says:

Adolf, easy tiger. I’ve just found Hone’s. Still looking for the original from Buddy.

  103. Kris K (1764) Says:

    Captain Neurotic 5:44 pm,

… they tell me it tastes like chicken :)

  104. bwakile (750) Says:

“his brethren were regularly dining upon each other as a matter of course.’

I wonder if it was main, entree or dessert.

  105. reid (3839) Says:

WhiteBrown motherf****** have been raping our landsgenerous welfare system and ripping us off for centuriesdecades and all of a sudden you want me to play along with their puritanicallazy selfish bullsh**.”

Now that wasn’t racist at all, was it.

  106. dave (704) Says:

Hone wags a meeting he flew to the other side of the world to attend so that he can see beautiful Paris instead.

What you forgot to add was that he also told Tariana Turia that he couldn’t attend the meeting because he was sick. So Hone is a liar, as well as a dickhead with a filthy mouth?

  107. Kris K (1764) Says:

    Reid, Reid,

    Where’s your Christian charity, brother?
You know we’re meant to turn the other check and all that.

I mean, if those “brown mofos” want to continue to rape our system, then we should respond by applying liberal amounts of lubricant, and then bend over.
    There’s a good chap.

  108. Right of way is Way of Right (761) Says:

White Pig, Black Pig, Brown Pig. Sad fact of the matter is they are all feeding at the same trough, and we’re the poor buggers that have to keep refilling it!

  109. Johnboy (2297) Says:

“What you forgot to add was that he also told Tariana Turia that he couldn’t attend the meeting because he was sick.”

Shit thats old hat for Mowree Dave.

I get them telling me that their sick every monday morning. Its pretty simple they get 5 days sick pay per annum and the rest is either no pay or off their holidays, their choice.

Works a treat. Same goes for Mowree funeral I pay one day rest of week for piss up is holiday or no pay their choice.

Parliament just needs some decent rules to stop the freeloading but as the freeloaders make the rules don’t hold your breath

  110. reid (3839) Says:

So Hone just said on TV One that he regrets the words but doesn’t resile from the sentiment.

    Unbelievable.

Keep digging, Hone, you racist motherfucker.

How can Parliament permit a man who admits he holds sentiments like this to represent NZ as a Parliamentarian at overseas conferences?

  111. Johnboy (2297) Says:

Where’s Trev when you need him to sort out a Murri. Bloody piker. :)

  112. scanner (194) Says:

Go Hone, give him another foot of rope should be just about enough for him to hang himself, talk about an own goal, if brains were dynamite this dipshit wouldn’t have enough to blow his nose.
Is it true he only went to France because he found a letter with come in it.

  113. Luc Hansen (1240) Says:

Bloody cheeky Maori boy. Tells the truth about the past. No right to do that!

And pulls a sickie to go fishing, oops, nip into Paris, and tells the boss a bit of white lie. Just can’t be allowed!

And then steals OUR carefully nurtured expletives to take a dig at US!

Only us whiteys allowed to do all that stuff, right? :-)

  114. Johnboy (2297) Says:

‘Only us whiteys allowed to do all that stuff, right? :-)

No Luc read my rules above they apply equally to brown or white or yellow.

    I wouldn’t give you a job though.

    I don’t employ wankers.

  115. Elijah Lineberry (306) Says:

What amazes me about this matter are the number of people who appear to be surprised at what Hone has been upto; as if Maoris rorting any system is unusual or not predictable behaviour.

If handwringing National people are so concerned they could always expel Hone from their Government… oh, hang on, that would require ethics/integrity/high standards

    http://www.nightcitytrader.blogspot.com

  116. Johnboy (2297) Says:

‘If handwringing National people are so concerned they could always expel Hone from their Government’

I wasn’t aware Hone was a minister in the National Government. When was he promoted? To what portfolio?

    Tell us more old chappie.

  117. reid (3839) Says:

What amazes me is that Hone said last night on TV about the trip that he thought most NZers would say “good on you Hone, for taking the opportunity.”

So Hone is not just racist it appears his political judgement is also rather appalling. Such a quality man. I wonder if he and Alamein Kopu are related?

  118. Elijah Lineberry (306) Says:

He is a member of what is a ‘junior coalition partner’ of the National party (odd to think you have been asleep the last year or so); two of his party members are Ministers in the Government and he is also a member of the four party coalition Government.

If you care to read my post again you will notice I never said he was a minister…because he is not; John Key can always say “Hone is a bad lot and no longer welcome in the coalition” anytime he feels like it.

    http://www.nightcitytrader.blogspot.com

  119. dad4justice (6095) Says:

He is just another Magpie MP grabbing everything he can. Pathetic pollie parasites give me the shits. Sack them all!!

  120. Johnboy (2297) Says:

Exactly Elijah his party supplies support to the National led government and in payment Pita and Tariana have ministerial portfolios outside cabinet.

Hone has no executive powers in the National led government hence it is not up to the leader of that government to expel Hone from a non-existant position in his government.

Get up to speed. have you been asleep for the past year?

  121. Johnboy (2297) Says:

    Dad:

Wardle ardle doodle squawk choke fuck here comes Paula

    Phil the magpie said. :)

  122. dad4justice (6095) Says:

I couldn’t give a toss about phool and paula this country is a fucking mess. Just look at the disgraceful antics of the elected scum.

  123. Johnboy (2297) Says:

They need new rules dad. Rules that they don’t get to make. It won’t happen though they have troughing for too long now to surrender the perks.

Key could have been the man to change things but I doubt he has the bottle to do it. The next few weeks will tell us for sure.

  124. Whafe (453) Says:

Am watching Close Up – The fact this can happen in our country is an absolute joke, it leaves me speechless….. This POS should be sacked immediately……….

  125. EPMU (30) Says:

Newsflash: A Harawira does something stupid, makes offensive rascist comments, thinks it is OK.

  126. Whafe (453) Says:

I am still speechless about this, if this is what happens in 2009 with an MP, we are fucked……..

  127. Patrick Starr (3532) Says:

FFS the maori party VP just said Harawira is on the VERGE of disciplinary action.

What will this mean for marae based justice???? Rape is a written warning perhaps? – maybe child beating gets a good telling off?

    fucken useless and racist bastards

  128. jabba (280) Says:

I also saw Closeup and Campbell live .. his weird mum was on .. gee she looks nice in her flash white motherfucker clothing.

  129. whalehunter (147) Says:

His tribe, his ‘constituency’ and willy jackson are giving him their full support.

    what does this mean?

You cannot say his comments are poor but support him 100%.

It just shows you what regard tribal maori have for NZ.

  130. whalehunter (147) Says:

Shit Hone, thats some funny shit, good on ya bro. Kia kaha!

……Now lets down play it, this could be politically and financially damaging.

  131. reid (3839) Says:

“His tribe, his ‘constituency’ and willy jackson are giving him their full support.”

That’s good then, let’s have a full public debate about ancient history. Let’s get all emotional and worked up over shit that no-one alive today is responsible for and can’t be changed. Let’s actually encourage those angry young Maori to start building IEDs and letting them off in rush-hour Queen St. Because that’s where those ill-chosen words and ill-thought out support for them is leading us.

Encouraging people to create and retain and nurture chips on their shoulders for imaginary impediments that don’t exist in today’s society, is what these haters and wreckers are doing. Talk about cancerous and corrosive.

I mean, what does Hone and Willie think will be achieved beyond what’s already being achieved in terms of justice? Huh? Bringing this up then trying to justify it leads us on a one-way path. If that’s what those wankers want, then fuck em and lock em up for life because they don’t belong in our 2009 society. If they don’t want that, then what the hell are they doing.

  132. Mr A (10) Says:

Im not willing to buy into the argument that Maori are bludgers, that would be racist. But Hone is apparently selling this view to us. Attending meetings you are supposed to attend as part of your job is white mofo puritanical b/s? Does that suggest that non-white people cannot meet a standard that requires them to do their job and attend when they are required? Hone seems to be telling us this.

If he is trying to send a message with this action, it was really effective. I suggest that we all should take a leaf out of Hone’s book and protest anything we feel strongly about by going off sightseeing in Paris. It worked Hone, I’ll stop r*ping your land, your relentless sightseeing is too much for me to handle, I give up!

What is even more galling that has not been brought up in great detail on any blog or in media is the fact that his actions reflect badly on us all, considering that he was representing New Zealand at an EU conference. Hone may not be concerned about us but us mofos have pride and try to act in a way that commands respect.

  133. democracymum (645) Says:

The tribe spokesman on TV3 tonight said that Hone’s words (and bad language) were Pakeha words and not
in the Maori language – like some how it was our felt that he was using them???

Decided to look up these “white man words” in my Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary for further clarification

“White motherf****** have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries and all of a sudden you want me to play along with their puritanical bullsh**.”

    Main Entry: moth·er·fuck·er
    Pronunciation: \ˈmə-thər-ˌfə-kər\
    Function: noun
1 usually obscene : one that is formidable, contemptible, or offensive — usually used as a generalized term of abuse

    Main Entry: 2rape
    Function: transitive verb
    Inflected Form(s): raped; rap·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Latin rapere
1 a archaic : to seize and take away by force b : despoil
2 : to commit rape on

    Main Entry: pu·ri·tan·i·cal
    Pronunciation: \ˌpyu̇r-ə-ˈta-ni-kəl\
    Function: adjective
1 : of, relating to, or characterized by a rigid morality

    Main Entry: 1bull·shit
    Pronunciation: \ˈbu̇l-ˌshit also ˈbəl-\
    Function: noun
    Etymology: 1bull & 6bull
usually vulgar : nonsense; especially : foolish insolent talk

    Conclusion:
Nope – no matter how you spell it – it’s still racist with a capital ‘R’
Guess we better blame Samuel Marsden then for giving Maori the written language because Hone sure isn’t shouldering any blame.

  134. Elijah Lineberry (306) Says:

It is not the first time the National party has had racists propping it up in Government; Harawira has been very offensive and beyond the pale yet seems to get automatic support from his electors – the vast majority of whom are receiving welfare payments from the taxes of White folk.

    Bizarre

    http://www.nightcitytrader.blogspot.com

  135. Angus (400) Says:

“Bloody cheeky Maori boy. Tells the truth about the past. No right to do that!”

Luc offers up a public display of his racial virtue on Kiwiblog. Somehow I don’t think Harawira would care for some unctuous, white-liberal-guilt-ridden honky taking umbrage on his behalf.

  136. Banana Llama (705) Says:

Democracymum this is truly an ugly day in our country’s history and a portent of things to come, as Reid says we are on the path to Ruin.

… i hope we can change course though.

  137. jabba (280) Says:

    infoline@hrc.co.nz
that’s where my complaint went to .. I asked Joris not to bother sending me a certificate though .. I’m a bit shy

  138. Luc Hansen (1240) Says:

Elijah, the National Party is deeply racist anyway, as is, if the truth be bit admitted, the ” silent majority,” otherwise formerly known as ” Rob’s Mob.”

And I am not picking on them for that, it’s just a fact, just like the born to rule mentality that pervades their upper echelons.

Now, their racism it is a trait most of their leaders, by necessity, cover up as much as they can. The fires Don Brash stoked in his short time as a failed leader showed the true colours of the National Party and a significant proportion of the mainly white, not young anymore, male Pakeha.

Great leaders, like Bolger (incredibly underrated, still), ensure it is totally subsumed and actually become beacons of racial enlightenment. I thought the Nats may have found another jewel, in terms of a non-racist leader, in Key, but his kneejerk reaction to Maori TV actually daring to take on the white man at his own game unnerved him, clearly. Still, I retain hope that he will reflect on his failure of nerve and work to overcome that misstep.

Reid and others: what ” Rob’s Mob” needs to understand is that deleterious repercussions of colonisation for the colonised, even one as relatively non-violent as the New Zealand example, do not expire at the death of that generation but carry on long into the future.

Just a little informed research would enlighten you.

There was nothing incorrect in the factual statements of Hone’s email, and the outcry for him not to speak his mind is actually symptomatic of a profound wish to repress unpleasant and inconvenient truths.

And the outcry over his side trip to Europe raises a question that does not seem to addressed anywhere: don’t these MP’s get allocated days off on these trips? As one who has always hated overseas business trips and tried to avoid them, I have nevertheless benefited from scheduled days off, approved and even insisted upon by my employer.

A final word: the arsehole who leaked the email is the real villain here.

  139. voice of reason (80) Says:

Strange that no-one seemed to comment that the sights & culture in Paris that Hone was so keen to see were the product of some white mother-f*ckers..
    Oh the Irony!!!

  140. Fale Andrew Lesa (162) Says:

I agree, I for one expect the conduct and attitude of our politicians to lead by example and sadly this is not the case – I was also disappointed in John Key’s limited response. As Prime Minister clearly the country expects him to lead the issue of parliamentary conduct because quite frankly Hone has his supporters within the Maori party that will no doubt ensure the punishment is not subject in full to his actions… A complete & utter disgrace!

  141. reid (3839) Says:

Reid and others: what ” Rob’s Mob” needs to understand is that deleterious repercussions of colonisation for the colonised, even one as relatively non-violent as the New Zealand example, do not expire at the death of that generation but carry on long into the future.

FFS Luc I already know that and always have.

My point is that living in the past is never helpful and if you want to condemn future generations to conflict over this issue then that’s the recipe.

THAT DOESN’T MEAN I DON’T KNOW WHAT WENT ON BACK THEN.

And don’t try to obfuscate to blame the messenger: “the arsehole who leaked the email.” It’s the person in a position of status and authority who expressed the sentiment, refused to resile from it and those who should know better who support him, who are the real arseholes.

  142. kiki (387) Says:

It’s these people that leak emails that keep our dear leaders under control.

  143. nickb (915) Says:

    http://www.stuff.co.nz/oddstuff/3040091/Air-NZ-takes-the-mickey-out-of-Hide-Harawira

    Hahahaha.
No doubt the Human Rights Commmission wil be laying a complaint against Air New Zealand.

  144. dave (704) Says:

… haven’t seen the full emails anywhere. Surely we could better judge the situation if we were allowed to see them. Come on media; we’re big boys and girls

    Full email is here.

  145. Hurf Durf (1361) Says:

No Luc read my rules above they apply equally to brown or white or yellow.

Puke approves of racism when it is applied to people of European descent (even Jewish ones!).

  146. kiwireader (46) Says:

I wonder if the race relations commissioner will give hone a certificate?

  147. Murray M (455) Says:

There is a God. I finish my rotation of looking after my elderly father on Nov 18. I fly back to Oz on Nov 19 which is where I pay my taxes. If this racist motherfucker had chanted his mantra in Oz it would not be safe for him to show his face in public. He would get the shit kicked out of his brown arse. Fuck him and every other bludging wanker like him. At least my taxes aren’t paying for this scum.

  148. Luc Hansen (1240) Says:

reid, my point was it is not, today, about what went on back then. It’s about what went on since then. Big diff.

There is nothing Hone should resile from. It was a private exchange. Don’t you ever say fuckwit down at the pub? Then duck?

Hurf, unworthy of you, that comment above. Please explain to me how Hone’s whinge is racism when it seems to me just a colourful abstract of historical fact.

  149. Luc Hansen (1240) Says:

    Murray M

Crap. He would get appointed GG.

  150. Murray M (455) Says:

Hey Luc, call me a fuckwit down the pub don’t bother ducking, cause if you do instead of getting a knee in the balls you will get a knee in the face. That’s the way we Bros get things sorted. And don’t get me started on what we do to the missus if she refuses to cook eggs.

  151. Hurf Durf (1361) Says:

when it seems to me just a colourful abstract of historical fact.

Thank you for proving my point, Luc.

  152. Angus (400) Says:

Guilty-white liberal Luc doesn’t realize Hone is running in real time. What a fool.

  153. Robert Black (384) Says:

    @Reid.

Classic post, very clever and humorous.

I think even the great Billy T would have had difficulty not using it, bless him.

  154. Robert Black (384) Says:

@Luc Hansen at the risk of picking up a forum stalker, you are cleary the forum retard here.

  155. Inventory2 (4112) Says:

Luc Hansen said “A final word: the arsehole who leaked the email is the real villain here.”

So Luc, I take it from that comment that you would be one of the few lefties to condemn Labour and the Greens’ use of the dishonestly-obtained Brash e-mails then?

  156. expat (3158) Says:

Forum retard is a bit strong. I’d prefer intentional passive-agressive troll.

  157. Pete George (4303) Says:

Interesting to see that while Hone is making the biggest prat of himself at the moment Hide is the main target in this mornings newspaper opinions. Scathing.

I guess Harawira was always a potential loose cannon. Hide had always promoted righteousness but has end up doing plenty of wrongeousness.

  158. Positan (18) Says:

Luc Hansen’s pathetic attempt at “justification” – “the arsehole who leaked the e-mail” shows his limited intellectual capabilities, his complete failure to grasp the deplorable facts, and his utterly inappropriate apologist outlook for what’s surely the most rabidly disgraceful performance of an elected MP seen thus far in this country.

There is no way Harawira’s corrosive and venomous attitude can be countenanced any longer. The country needs rid of this racist scumbag.

  159. Pete George (4303) Says:

It had been reported that Harawira wasn’t happy with the Maori Party working with National and wasn’t sure if he wanted to stay there. He looks like he couldn’t give a stuff about the job – so he should get out or be pushed out.

  160. jackp (377) Says:

The tribe spokesman on TV3 tonight said that Hone’s words (and bad language) were Pakeha words and not
in the Maori language – like some how it was our felt that he was using them???” by democracymum.

I couldn’t believe this tribe spokesman response. Is New Zealand going to put up with this??? Meanwhile this guy has his hand in pakeha’s pocket. Hone shows his intellect by the choice of language he uses. He truly is a lazy racist. I have met some very bright and ambitious maori who could easily take his place. But, he represents the people who voted him in. Doesn’t say much for that area. New Zealand has to stop the dole which would force a change in attitude.

  161. Tauhei Notts (596) Says:

For many years we have heard various Maori leaders express their admiration of Hone Harawira. I believe that Hone, as the brains of the Maori organisations, should continue as a leader of Maoridom. For he truly is the brains of that organisation.
    But I recall Groucho saying of Harpo in a Marx Brothers film;
“This is the brains of our outfit. Now you know what kind of an outfit we’ve got.”

  162. EverlastingFire (132) Says:

Rapping his lands? He’s obviously unaware of the research that has been done on deforestation and extinction of native animals in pre-European times. He has more reason to be annoyed at other Maori for what they did to each other than anything else.

  163. malcolm (1105) Says:

If Hone had a blog, would he have a posting entitled: “Kiwiblog goes off the mofo deep end”?

  164. stephen (3479) Says:

“A final word: the arsehole who leaked the email is the real villain here.”

Actually, Harawira explicitly said to the guy that he could take this email to the media. So no issue.

Quote was: “and if you want to take this to the press, go right ahead. I answer to my people, not to them or to anybody else.”

  165. reid (3839) Says:

“I answer to my people, not to them or to anybody else.”

Which does of course mean that since he doesn’t represent the nation, he shouldn’t be allowed to travel overseas pretending that he does.

  166. helmet (775) Says:

Luc Hansen, you’ve gotta be taking the piss bro. I just don’t know where to start with the shit you’re spouting.

  167. stephen (3479) Says:

“Which does of course mean that since he doesn’t represent the nation, he shouldn’t be allowed to travel overseas pretending that he does.”

He (and others) probably does it as a ‘new zealand parliamentarian’, not as a representative of NZ a la Tim Groser.

  168. Tui (28) Says:

Sir Double Dipton, Rodney Rort and now Hone Harawanker.

  169. Karlgod (2) Says:

It is hard to imagine that the Race Relations Commissioner would refer to Hone Harawira’s email as “freedom of expression” if Hone was John, not Maori, and he’d been talking about ‘brown mofos’ instead of white ones. The hypocrisy in this country is maddening.

    http://karlsrightrant.blogspot.com/2009/11/racism-is-alive-and-well-in-nz.html

As a directly elected MP, though, Hone would be in Parliament under any electoral system we adopted – unless, of course, we got rid of the Maori seats – in which case he’d never even get close to the place, except during a protest.

  170. Manolo (1270) Says:

Regardless of skin colour these politiinas are troughers, parasites, leeches on our back.
I’m amazed to hear the thuggish imbecile Harawira utter a few expletives trying to defend the indefensible. The same goes for the shameless Hide, who is now lost all credibility with me.

The political mafia (their mates in parliament, the establishment) will come to their rescue in order to preserve perks and keep the rort going.

  171. Cadmus (26) Says:

At least Harawira was honest. He said he was going to Paris with his wife. clean no B/S.
Not like some for instance our very own “PERK BUSTER” Rodney Hide. He didn’t come clean!
I believe Harawira believed if all the rest Hide, Douglas, were getting free trips for there partners why not him? Sure it stinks but it isn’t going to change.
BTW, I’m still waiting for a comment from the “Perk Buster” Rodney Hide on the Harawira saga???

  172. jabba (280) Says:

I’m embarrassed to ask .. what is a Mofo?
years ago when I lived on a busy ( well it was for my little town) street, I had my letter box kicked most Fri and Sat nights. As I heard the crunch/bang, a call of “ball or bald head” followed which was meant as a racist term .. never got to understand that name either.
Pete 7:48 .. I mentioned the same .. he wants to go but needs it to be in a blaze of glory.
Luc .. are you Philu in disguise?

  173. malcolm (1105) Says:

    http://www.google.co.nz/search?q=Mofo

  174. jabba (280) Says:

my god .. I’m a U2 fan with that album and didn’t catch on .. thanx malcolm

  175. Robat (16) Says:

“.. have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries…”

How dare these despicable whites bring things like shoes, electric blankets, kentucky fried, television, toothpaste, hospitals, heatpumps and horrible aeroplanes and force us to use them.

All ‘our people’ want all this gone immediately as we would much sooner be still living in flax huts, having daily get fit classes in nothing more than flax skirts and getting ready to paddle to Paris in our traditional travel craft – sharpened greenstone-made canoes.

    “Hone sends highly offensive emails”

Why do the media refer to the emails as offensive, or “expletive laden” but never racist? Seriously David, this seems to be a double standard – if a white politician said something similar the emails would be described as racist. Why not in this case? Why can’t the media bring themselves to use that adjective to describe the emails?
