Geddis’ commentary on Wilson is well worth a read. He offers three possible reasons for Wilsons’ behaviour, none of which reflect well upon NZ’s judiciasry and all of which are entirely plausible. It should give pause for thought to anyone who blindly trusts in the omnipotent wisdom of those appointed to the Bench.

I wouldn’t normally correct a typo, but having written it twice, I figure it may be an error, rather than a mistake (assuming the distinction I’ve afforded these terms isn’t just in my head…)
