His comments about the theft, confiscation and what have you of Maori land are right on the money when you consider any actual historical accounts of this country. This is the whole reason there is a Maori Party, it should not be a surprise to anyone venturing to comment on this issue.
Harawira “White Motherfuckers” comment was a bit off, but whenever any white NZer starts mouthing off it’s “PC” to criticise their rudeness, remember?
I guess the Maori Party calculated that, politically they could get away with it. Thus, it’s NZ’s fault if the Maori Party has power in after 2011. And they probably will because white NZers have been told for so long that, along with being good at rubgy, we are also racists and bad people and everything is our fault and that being called white motherf*****s if a fair reflection of what we are. A sad indictment on the low esteem we white NZers have of ourselves.
Hone has pointed out the walking farce that the Race Relations Commisioner has become. In that sense he has done us all a great favour. We know how he feels about pakeha, and no doubt he knows how many of us feel about him…a hypocritical piece of angry dogshit.
The most unfortunate aspect of this whole debacle, IMHO, is the ringing silence from within Maoridom. The Maori King made no comment and Komatua or ‘Eminent Maori leader’, irrespective of their tribal affiliations, stood up and took him apart, denouncing him and his comments.
Therefore, it can be reasonably assumed that the deafening-silence is support and implied approval – aided and abetted by the totally liberal hand-wringing response from the one individual who COULD, under law, have actually made hone back down – the race relations counciliator, but being a lefty sudak, (SuD AfriKan) his response was, in retrospect, entirely predictable.
Sad isn’t it – but at least we now know what to expect – and that if you are brown, you can say what you want to – and get away with it.
Silence gives consent?
Not quite I think. The Maori Party, and Maoridom generally are not monolithic: they encompass a very wide range of opinion. But those who disagree with Harawira see no benefit to them or their causes by denouncing him. That might please some pakeha, but would piss off many (not all) Maori. This would gain them nothing. So they maintain silence because anything they say would make things worse. Don’t assume that this makes them happy.
What we have discovered (which we already knew) is there are 2 sets of rules, one for White Mother F**kers that is if you call someone a ‘Cheeky Darky’ you are a racist scumbag but if you are Maori and call a whole white population in a country White Mother F**kers it really is okay and you get slapped on the wrist with a wet bus ticket.
New Zealand tax payers have been paying for our forefathers mistakes for a long time, when is it going to end (not in my life time) while people like Hone are around and have such a low opinion of white New Zealanders really all other Kiwi’s that have no Maori blood in them.
Apparently Desalinated water tastes okay, maybe whitey should just up sticks and move to Aussie.
Komata has it. You can’t say hori these days without Maori leaders drouping out of the trees all over the place, but you white motherfuckers deserve it because 150 years ago someone else did something bad.
His comments about the theft, confiscation and what have you of Maori land are right on the money when you consider any actual historical accounts of this country…
AND
Harawira “White Motherfuckers” comment was a bit off…
You left out the rape bit, RRM.
There as another side colonisation. It came when some Maori were selling land, sometimes the same piece two or three times or not theirs in the first place, and when there was tribal warfare, and trading trophy heads for white men’s muskets. If land sharks among the colonials behaved badly, some Maori murdered and ate white settlers (yes and probably raped some of them, too). Colonisation, freed some Maori from slavery, and the ended cannibalism fate for others. Colonisation brought a written language for Maori and many other benefits of a more more modern society.
There are apologies and settlements to Maori largely from white NZers, who only in part descend from pioneer settlers.
However, what we are talking about is rude, prejudiced, anti-white politician. It is obvious Harawira’s strong prejudice warrants contempts from NZers. It’s also obvious the Maori Party accommodates Harawira’s prejudices.
The rest of us now need to consider whether we can support a National coalition that accommodates the Maori Party.
RRM’s mild description of Harawira’s nasty words, shows where RRM stands.
^^^ Jack5 if you are more interested in discussing my supposed liberal guilt or lack of integrity as a white motherfucker who **should** be offended by this, instead of the topic, then that is fine but more fool you.
I don’t deny he has made some overtly racist comments. But he’s a big mouth, what do you expect? And I’m pretty nasty too and I can handle a few “nasty words”, otherwise I wouldn’t comment here. maybe you and your morally-outraged ilk need to open a can of harden the f*ck up?
Harawira is clearly not about to start a race war. And again – his views on treaty matters etc are correct and not exaggerated. And as Harawira said on radio live when asked where he thought Maori would be today if English colonisation had never occurred, they would be much better off – probably running their own country.
When will maoris like Harawira realise that but for the white Englishman’s arrival, this country today would be exactly like other Pacific island countries such as Samoa, Tonga, et al.
In other words no functioning economy and a reliance on overseas aid. But hey, they’d own all the land, although bugger all of it would be productive.
Of course if the Spanish, French or Dutch had settled in New Zealand first there would be no maoris around at all today.
Known within the Nixon administration as the “evil genius,” special counsel Charles W. Colson served a prison term in 1974 after pleading guilty to obstruction of justice in the Watergate-related Daniel Ellsberg case. Colson became a born-again Christian and in 1976 founded the Prison Fellowship Ministries. The volunteer-based organization is designed to assist prison inmates, mostly African Americans and their families.
Colson visited New Zealand, several years ago now, and in an interview with Brian Edwards said that the USA after the African Americans won the rights they desired, whites then told them how downtrodden and poor they were, and in effect have enslaved them for a second time, this time largely in their own beliefs.
Hone Harawira, Willie Jackson and the like, are doing this right now, helped by a whole bunch of PC pakeha.
“I don’t deny he has made some overtly racist comments. But he’s a big mouth, what do you expect?”
He’s an MP, RRM. All MPs are powerful leaders with tremendous social responsibility, whether or not they are in govt or a Minister. He’s also a self-confessed racist. Name an MP from any other racial group in this country that would get away with what he did without losing their seat, their party membership, their caucus position, and who would nnot be prosecuted not just censured, by the HRC for breaching S61 – inciting racial disharmony, and probably would also be sent to prison for it.
What the brown racist motherfucker and all the other brown racist motherfuckers who agree with him have done, is opened up the door to a tit-for-tat series of ever escalating insults, which cannot be stopped by the authorities for now a precedent has been set.
The correct action for the Maori Party, was to throw him out, whether or not that was over the wishes of his electorate. This is because a political movement with Parliamentary representation has a responsibility to ALL of the people in this country, not just the people who vote for them. Its action indicates it doesn’t acknowledge that responsibility, so in effect the whole Maori Party is saying to the rest of country exactly what the brown racist motherfucker said in February in relation to his own electorate.
That to me demonstrates the Maori Party is unfit to hold office, and while I’ve previously been a strong supporter and admirer of Pita and Tariana and the whole Maori Party, my support is now withdrawn and has shifted to active opposition until they see the error of their ways. Which won’t be long because despite what some people think, the brown racist motherfuck is also as thick as a whale omelet and he won’t be able to keep his racist trap shut for more than 5 mins.
. . . and laying aside all private and personal interests . . . that we may conduct the affairs of this House and of our country to . . . the honour of the Queen, and the public welfare, peace, and tranquillity of New Zealand . . .
“…[Harawira's] views on treaty matters etc are correct and not exaggerated.
That’s what you and Harawira say. On what authority do you declare the Harawira view of history correct?
Here’s a repeat of the offensive part of Harawira’s email
“White motherf****** have been raping our lands and ripping us off for centuries.”
This is bullshit. How long have Maori been in contact with modern civilisation? Two and a half centuries.
And who is ripping off who now? Treaty settlements are beginning to look like blackmail, with no final payment. A final settlement then another settlement on forestry to account for global warming. Payments for the radio frequencies which Maori canoes made such great use of. Perpetual (that is for ever) first and second rights to Ngai Tahu to buy South Island crown assets.
As for the RRM comment:
maybe you and your morally-outraged ilk need to open a can of harden the f*ck up?
Maybe RRM, you and Hawira and your ilk need to harden the f*ck up yourselves and stop whingeing about making a bad contract 170 years ago. Eyes front and get on with life.
Of course if the Spanish, French or Dutch had settled in New Zealand first there would be no maoris around at all today.
..absolutely..the French settled Akaroa..had they taken the whole of NZ.. EVERY single maori would have been hunted down and slaughted.. so thank your lucky fucking stars harawira and keep your racist m/f mouth shut….bro.
The stats would be interesting. It may have been in the same survey, there are more low skilled kiwis in Aus than qualified, which goes against the assumption that the best go to Aus (they said more of the best move on to the US and Europe).
‘There as another side colonisation. Despite the revisitoni leftist-historian academia, who would have us believe that everything that is wrong with Maori is totally the fault of ‘Whitey’, Maori were not the unblemished, squeaky-clean ‘good guys’ which Belich et al would have us believe. Equally their leaders were no fools and realised that the British were probably the best option for them, rather than the French and acted accordingly. The signing of the treaty was, first and foremost, an action of self preservation, coupled with teh realisation that the ongoing inter tribal wars and ‘settling of old scores going back centuries, were ultimately self-destructive. They needed a larger power to keep them from themselves, and, fortunately, chose the British.
Based on what is known about pre-European Maori, it is probable that, had Maori been left to their own devices as Hone evidently wants, (the British and French not withstanding, but assuming – for the purposes of the exercise that they didn’t enter into the equation), the end result would probably have been the emergence of a single dominant tribe which would have systematically indulged in what we would now know as ‘Ethnic Cleansing’, settling old scores (utu), and enslaving and eating the losers, (and yes, Maori WERE cannibals). Maori had no concept of Western-style democracy, but rather lived in a state of near-constant warfare with a constantly-changing plethora of enemies, the much-touted mana of a man being defined by the number of deaths by his hand. In addition to this, Maori existed in a complex multi-deity’d spiritual world, which governed their actions and created an additional climate of fear, compounding the already fearful daily existence. Despite what Maori academics and former radicals (Awatere-Huata et al) would have the world believe, there was no ‘golden-age’ of Maoridom before the European arrived – it was rather terror compounded on itself, with rare periods of what could be called a semi-armistice, but one which could be broken with no particular compulsion.
No chief ever seems to have had the ability or inclination to say ‘enough is enough, no more war’ probably because he’d have been killed if he’s even suggested such an affront to a war-dominated society.
Hone, deep in his Titiwhai-indoctrinated hate-filled state, chooses not to remember this (and yes, he is old enough to have been taught the history of New Zealand before it was revised per ‘Tomorrow’s schools’), while his allegation that ‘Whitey has been here for centuries’ (or word to that effect) is a complete fabrication (again, delibrately forgotten, while he has no problem at all in using the introduced language and all the other gains which the British bought)
Finally, and I’ve asked this before, can anyone tell me the basis of Titiwhais hatred of European New Zealanders? (Deapite he enthusiastic embracing of all its attributes). Whatever it is must be very very deep and is certainly abiding, but why, and for what reason?

This is all perfectly OK according to the Race Relations Office, if I called him a “cheeky darkie” it would be a different matter altogether.
When you watch those Master Chef series, it looks frightening on the part of the participants. It reminds me of the psycho engineering programs TV1 and TV3 are committed to. Whether you are sitting in a meeting with Hone present, or across the table from the Master Judges, or engaged in a guilt driven scenario on a psycho series, I’m sure the food will never taste the same again.
It does no justice when such terms as colonisation reemerge during Climate Change debate as the low lying nations are about to submerge while the biggest polluters are compensated for their wrongs.

I see that one in seven NZ Maori has migrated to Australia compared to one in eight pakeha.
I wonder what the percentage of Australian Maori are in prison compared to the NZ Maori.
I suspect that fewer Maori (as a percentage of population) are in Australian prisons that Australians are.
