Stats website

Is anyone else getting this error when trying to access Stats NZ website:

403 – Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

Very annoying.

    If it’s anything like my recent problem with youtube (see post!), reboot your router.

    Working OK for me. Firefox 3.6 via Actrix.

    Works fine for me using plain old IE8.
    Maybe the mad duck from Red Blurt has found a way to ban you DPF?

    The real message was:
    403 – Forbidden: Access is denied.
    Misuse of statistical data is a crime, your authorisation has been revoked.

    On the few occasions I’ve looked at stats.govt.nz, I’ve always found it a bit inconvenient to use.. Maybe we need a data.govt.nz, like data.gov and data.gov.uk.

    Imagine if all the NZ Stats data was available on the web in a convenient machine-readable format?

    Directory browsing or using links within the site?

    More then likely the former.

    The site will only want you accessing pages via the links in the site.
