Would the real bludger please stand up…/
For years now, every one has been paying exactly the same tax at the supermarket and the petrol station. The socialist professional who earns a 5/6 figure wage pays the same amount of tax as the beneficiary who earns a 3 figure amount. They pay the same amount for road infrastructure tax, ACC levies, and GST on petrol tax that when translated into equity, the low income earner contributes far more percentage of his/her income than the high income earner.

This unethical practice has been swept under the carpet as successive governments haven’t made any tax cuts.

It is the same as charging a student who doesn’t earn an income market rates or interest rates.

The myth of your money huh!

The National and Labour socialist economic system takes advantage of the unemployed and the sick to transfer revenues to the private sector who then releases sharks and cowboys on the market. The availability of a consumer class is a platform for revenue redirection away from the public to the private sector. Tax is paid by business fees, some foreign investments, and monetary interest rates, from petrol and ACC levies, road infrastructure, GST and tax on tax. As it turned out (as above) the low income earner pays a greater proportion of his income to IRD. And the higher income earner is higher because he/she gets a bigger slice of the pie from revenue redirection.

So, not only the socialist economic system rests on the availability of a consumer underclass, but also it makes you the so-called high income earner a bigger bludger than the beneficiaries are.

No, it’s not your money, ….punk!

Recently, the level of violence has witnessed individual rebellions towards the government and those agencies marking the symbol of authority. As the PM exercise the weight of his hand, more acts of violence follows. It’s not so much of making the public service redundant where unemployment gives rise to alternative means of substituting the budge, or students leaving half way through college opting for the faster lane to the grave, but direct reaction to the authority.

This was recently demonstrated in US where a plane targeted the IRD office, and someone fired at the Pentagon. In NZ a car crashed into the Hamilton Police station in pure daylight, as the Police continue to cop public anger and anarchy.

Well in the past and up to now, suicide follows the shadow of depression preceded by violence and crime, and it doesn’t discriminate on victims for both stable families and isolated individuals fall through. Suicide was also associated with fanatical participants of extreme psycho social internet activities especially among those who are not mentally strong. But now it is kamikaze style where the one who is swallowed-up by dark depression usually from employment and finance therefore personal, targets the authority.

Thus vehicles including planes are aimed at the perpetrator or the authority as the subject attempts at suicide.
So, you won’t expect highly planned sophisticated operation in our time when subject individuals are much bolder to use target killing-suicide whether by the use of a car in pure daylight, or a weapon.

Yes the whole system of down are ok on the slide, the downward spiral picks up momentum as the PM size up another blow. The thinning of education also slims society’s knowledge as it impact on the economy itself like it’s caught in a vicious cycle. As sharks and cowboys have a field day, more monetary policies continue to fragment itself into a bubble.

And on the lighter site, the emerging HD 3D trend will power a technology boom to change the phase of entertainment. Imagine the rush to upgrade at a reasonable price, I suggest to make the dollar more attractive now so Retailers can take advantage of the hype. But as usual, the right wing nationalist government targets private accumulation and only a few can afford a decent toy. Shame the gate keepers closed the entrance to technological development when young NZers were enthusiastic then….

Now it’s Telecom global version has already fallen behind, paying millions to foreign subjects who enjoy the lifestyle in paradise…

Normalise Blu Ray for a price….

It seems the Los Angeles people have a copyright on the staggered lettering format as a trademark, not the word HOLLYWOOD itself. The whole WELLYWOOD thing would legally be an obvious pip-off because it makes no sense without reference to the original.

pity we can’t make the letters twice as large!

Perhaps we should just join out letters up a little :-)

  8. pentwig (240) Says:

    Tassman

What stupid flawed idiocy you write.

Your madness at the start of GD today is a prized example.

Let’s change it around. Because the higher earner pays more in tax in real terms the tax rate should be lower for higher earners, that is only fair.

Ask yourself the question – why do some earn more than others? The answer is enlightening.

  9. wreck1080 (2,009) Says:

    Labour are pathetic beyond belief….

“Labour has called on the Government to set aside a majority recommendation of the Commerce Commission and regulate mobile termination charges, blamed for pushing up the cost of calls to and from cellphones”

    But, remember, …

“Labour twice rejected recommendations from the commission that it regulate the charges, in 2005 and 2007, instead accepting voluntary cuts proposed by Vodafone and Telecom.”

So, what was a ‘good’ idea when labour was in government, has now become a bad idea because National are are now in government.

    Meh!

  10. Falafulu Fisi (1,654) Says:

From Yahoo news headlines : “A blond, blue-eyed Philly suburbanite called Jihad Jane”

Boyfriend: ‘Jihad Jane’ suspect wasn’t religious

It looks like that Islamic terrorists are trying to recruit whites.

  11. Bryla (263) Says:

Oooops! I’ve just been informed by Judge Harrup that I’m no longer allowed to report on trial proceedings of the Waihopai Ploughshares at Wellington Court.

There is, apparently a media accreditation process which I haven’t participated in, and my reports have infringed (however slightly) against some of the rules of media reporting.

Naturally I will obey the Judge’s order.

So while I might be able to argue political issues around nonviolence here and on other sites, my blog reporting days on the trial are over.

  12. Redbaiter (13,197) Says:

    How infinitely sad.

  13. peterwn (1,541) Says:

Yvette – Re Wellywood – you are confusing copyright with trademark. If the style of the original is trademarked in NZ, then there could be a case to answer, but not otherwise. Unlike trademarks, copyright is universal, at least among Berne Convention signatories. However it would seem doubtful that the style of the sign has sufficient originality to be copyright – the line is drawn somewhere. An Australian court ruled that the shape of a keyhole in a lock was not subject to copyright when Lockwood tried to stop key blank manufacturers making blanks for its ‘security’ locks after the registered design had expired.

  14. pentwig (240) Says:

    Bryla

    Damn. What a shame.

    Now run along.

No, on second thoughts become a martyr to the nonviolence cause and keep on reporting.

That way you can join your mates in the cell.

  15. MikeNZ (3,234) Says:

    I feel for you Bryla.

  16. kowtow (1,487) Says:

Another govt entity that could go so we could save money is the race relations/human rights commission. TVNZ hawking their wares today,….. you know, the same old story, “whitey, you bad boy ,you’ve been naughty again this year, just keep paying those taxes to keep us useless desk merchants in business”

How’s that dismantling of the nanny state coming along National?

  18. Rex Widerstrom (4,529) Says:

Yesterday’s discussion on the “three strikes” law morphed into a debate on conditions within our prisons. A day too early, alas, for this story.

I’d suggest that if a man kept prisoner by Idi Amin is shocked by conditions in NZ’s jails, then far from being the “holiday camp” they’re portrayed as, they’re an international disgrace.

  19. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

“Another govt entity that could go so we could save money is the race relations/human rights commission. ”

No that subject, it is true that the Human Rights Review Tribunal panel that decides what cases will proceed is made up entirely of women? I am dumbfounded if that is the case and it’s little wonder the feminazi’s hit me with costs when I smacked them with an unlawful male gender discrimination case. Over my dead body will I pay the fembot –twisted – useless parasitic eunuchs a fringing cent? Rant over MADam Speaker. All Commissions are a leech on a decent society and they’re run by socialist scum

You really have a problem with women, don’t you?

  21. Rex Widerstrom (4,529) Says:

    d4j:

it is true that the Human Rights Review Tribunal panel that decides what cases will proceed is made up entirely of women?

No, it’s not. Three females, two males. I guess if they have four people sitting at one time there could be a 3:1 ratio of women to men, but no more than that.

  22. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

    Thank you Rex.

I think that thing Jacquie Grant is a tranny granny with a pet ape called Tuku. Hindle is a robotic make believe male.

eszett- slow day on Trade Me Opinion today dear. XX

  23. lukas (36) Says:

Funny, could have sworn Trevor Mallard said that he would put up his amazing disappearing post this afternoon… yet, he is silent today

  24. Rex Widerstrom (4,529) Says:

Well on the one hand, d4j, she’s an active and outspoken member of the Labour Party and thus no doubt yet another tiresome party hack, as are so many on both sides of the divide.

On the other she reportedly fostered more than 70 children, thus taking on a crucial role that so few are willing to do.

So I was of two minds till I read “an ape named Tuku”… which I find caused the eponymous undy-wearer to climb up on his high horse about insults to his mana.

On balance, then, I find in favour of the defendant :-D

  25. dad4justice (7,339) Says:

Agree next case please. Great stuff – fostering over 70 children. I must eat humble pie. :-)

Don’t say it too loud Nickb since DPF is a supporter of this. Where the heck is personal responsibility people?

Can anyone tell me why let kids surf the internet unsupervised or need to use the internet for what reason?

I currently coach some 8 and 9 year old kids of friends, relatives and family members in maths, twice a week in the evening. These kids can now solve algebraic linear equation of 5th form math level (such as one shown below) which are way advanced to their age:

    8 = 14 – 3*x

    (we know that x=2)

Well, I don’t encourage these kids to use the internet at all, because it doesn’t help their education (core subjects). The kids who do use the internet are knowledgeable, but that sort of knowledge has got nothing to do with school core subjects. It is the sort of knowledge about a specific episode of “Dr. Who” that they have watched on YouTube, but knowing this is useless and doesn’t make kids knowledgeable at all, like the kids that I am coaching.

Why do parents let their kids use the internet for? What’s the advantage? Any scholar here that can tell me? I coach kids to succeed in solving linear algebra equations which are too advanced for their level of understanding, and that didn’t involve the internet at all, because the internet is not really needed at that young age. Kids use the internet as a form of entertainment and not for learning (or probably much less to do with learning).

This filtering system shouldn’t be there in the first place, because kids don’t need to be on the internet at this young age. There is no gain in using the internet at that young age, so parents should not allow their kids to use the internet at all. They should be doing what I do and coach their kids to understand math, numeracy and algebra. Internet gives nothing at all.

Anyone who thinks that young kids need access to the internet is pretentious or borderline exaggerated self-important.

Good article here by Australian Labor MP Michael Danby on Israel

    http://www.danbymp.com/index.php?article=462

It shows a great map of an offer for peace by Olmert – it’s a great counter to those who say the 2 state solution is no longer viable. Good to see from a left wing MP in a country where the MPs are clearly well informed on world events.
