Apparently one cannot make lewd video’s of one cheating wife.
Personally I reckon she got what was deserved, problem was it was her husband that filmed her and not a PI. Had a PI seen and fimed her in the act that is admissible evidence.

NZ’s Adrian Macey elected to high-powered job

New Zealand has a seat at the top table for the next phase of world talks on climate change.

Climate Change ambassador Adrian Macey has been elected to become vice-chairman of the Kyoto Protocol negotiations. He was chosen at a meeting in Germany, despite some countries objecting to a New Zealander.

Climate Change Minister Tim Groser says it is a key job but it does not mean New Zealand will get special treatment.

He says Mr Macey will not be representing New Zealand, but it helps to have somebody who is holding the pen at crucial points.

Greenpeace is pleased at the news but says it will be tough to get developed countries to adopt new commitments under the Protocol.

KEVIN Rudd should be replaced now because of the “terminal damage” he is doing to Australia and the Labor Party, says former Queensland treasurer Keith De Lacy who has known the Prime Minister for 20 years.

Mr De Lacy, now chairman of one of Australia’s most successful resources companies, Macarthur Coal, says that, with Mr Rudd, there is an “enormous gulf between word and deed, between spin and substance”.

“This has led to the terminal loss of trust and respect that is reflected in the opinion polls,” Mr De Lacy writes in an article published today in The Weekend Australian. Mr De Lacy also accuses Mr Rudd of having a xenophobic attitude to foreign investment “that would have done (former One Nation leader) Pauline Hanson proud”.

Indeed, Viking2, the upcoming talks in Cancun are extremely important. This extract is from an address last month by James E Hansen to the French National Assembly.

It is not my job to suggest policy, and I certainly will not interfere in French politics. However, I
would like to note that we, the world, desperately need some nation to stand up and tell the other
nations the truth: we cannot solve the climate/energy problem without a rising price on carbon, a
tax. Cap-and-trade with offsets will not work. And China and India will never accept a cap –
why should they, as long as their per capita emissions are much smaller than the West?* There
needs to be a steadily rising price on carbon, with the money collected distributed to the public.
I think that it is my job as a scientist to connect the dots all the way with scientific
objectivity using all empirical evidence. And it is my job, as a father and grandfather concerned
about young people, future generations, and the other species that share our planet, to point out
that the path the world is on, if we stay on it, guarantees that we will push the climate system
beyond tipping points.
This is a moral issue, a matter of intergenerational injustice. Because of the inertia and
slow response of the climate system, our generation burns most of the fossil fuels and reaps the
benefits while future generations bear the costs. We, the older generations and our governments,
cannot pretend that we do not understand this situation – we must accept responsibility.

The rapidly increasing levels of CO2 emissions as demonstrated here illustrates the urgency of the task facing our leaders.

As one who is deeply pessimistic about the intentions of the US, Britain and other western nations because I think they simply find it politically impossible to deal with climate justice concepts for developing nations, I can only fear for the worst but hope for the best.

I commend browsing the website of James E Hansen for rigorous science presented in an easily understandable manner.

Hahahaha, the BP protest. A handful of loud nutcases not using a service they already don’t use. I’ll sure they’ll be just as happy using Gazprom or Sinopec energy though – much more aligned with their interests.

Luc, luc luc. Just when I thought you couldn’t make yourself look any more foolish.. you pop back up cite Hansen as a source of “rigorous science” … Hilarious!

Hansen is the crook who kicked the Climate Change fraud into gear back in 1988. He and the Algore (all profits be to him) and best mates. Hansen is responsible for manipulating temperature records and more than half of James Hansen’s heat sensors were placed in the vicinity of artificial heat!

Now, back to this question which you’ve dodged.. again:

Johnboy; I regard LUC’s posts with less enthusiasm than philu’ who sometimes makes sense.
Luc has a one track brain rush and that’s it. I blame the education system, repeat after me type stuff.

As for the 8.20 post about the kids on the block. I see they get taken to the CYPS house from whence they escape quicker than the police car can drive back to the city.
DPF and his merry men have just voted the CEO of MSD as the most effective CEO in the bureaucracy.
As I understand things that makes him the boss of a failing outfit.
Pay the man some more money, he definitely deserves it.

I also see Lindsay has finally said the unsayable. That the little fat westie tub is just that and all piss and wind just like the rest of the Nats only worse. Reading between the lines the scenario is that Hughes has now gained the upper hand and controls the westie like he does everyone else with his bullying. Workplace psychopath comes to mind.
Single handedly destroyed many good community organizations to build his empire.

Time for some changes in that building.

I’ve heard from MSD folks that Hughes is known to have apocalyptic tantrums… screaming, swearing and yelling at key staff who have – in his view – transgressed in some way. That type of ‘leadership’ might have won awards in the days of steam power, but should be awarded with a DCM.
