Whale v Williams – an investment opportunity

September 15th, 2010 at 1:54 pm by David Farrar

have just launched two stocks on whether or will receive more votes in the Albany Ward, for the Auckland Council elections.

The Slater to win more votes stock is at 23c.

The Williams to win more votes stock is at 78c.

Will the incumbent Mayor actually get less votes than a rebel blogger? If you think you know the answer, there is money to be made.

Easy to arrange. Tell Whale he can eat the leftovers and tell Williams they’re jello shots :-D

Just because one gets more votes than the other doesn’t mean one of them would be elected. Surely their will be someone more worthy of a vote than these two in their electorate.

Could be a way for WhaleOil to make a bit of cash. Go long on Williams and then pull out of the election at the last minute.

It is. Ipredict allows (nay, encourages) insider trading.

This prank candidacy will be humiliating for Blubber Boy, who will be lucky to pull more than a handlful of votes. However, the iPredict casino is so easy gamed, for little outlay, that it is simply another silly stunt. The saddest thing about this guy, these days, is that he appears to be getting more and more shrill and outrageous with each prank, and what little credibility he once had is now gone completely. He should get a real job and put his life back in order.

David, what is the iPredict stock listing for D. Garrett being an MP by the end of the week?
Or aren’t we allowed to talk about that here? This trivial nonsense is more important…

[DPF: No you can not talk about Garrett in this thread. You can talk about him in general debate, or in the thread which now exists for him]
