World of Wearable Arts 2010

Went to the awards night, on Friday evening, for the 2010 World of Wearable Arts.

As always, it was an execellent night out. The show was arguably more energetic than previous years, with a carnival theme for one section, and some gymnasts to keep the audience amused during breaks.

I will say that I thought the quality of the winners was not quite as high as previous years. Still very very good – but not as many designs that have that wow factor.

I really recommend WOW as a great night out – it is not just a fashion show – the music, the sets, the dancing all combine for a great time.
