    You mean they’ve set up a…. news aggregator?! Quick, someone call philu so he can claim copyright!! :-D

    This aggregator looks as though it will be timely, useful, and even handed. I’ve already bookmarked it and will be checking it virtually (no pun intended) every day.

    Actually he couldn’t do that, as he would then be claiming someone else’s copyright as his own.

    As much respect as I have for Peter Jackson I think he has used his one ‘cry wolf/get out of jail’ card on this and I don’t think the government or the public would be very tolerant of any future special tax deals being needed to get a movie made here in New Zealand.

    What…? So a offering a few million dollars in tax breaks… (Thats when someone gets to keep a bit more of their OWN money from thieving State hands ) is a no go option in return for HUNDREDS of millions,if not a couple of BILLION dollars coming into our economy…..?!

    Did any of these fuckwits take maths at school…..anyone? THIS member of the public thinks this is fucking excellent and can we have a shitload more of it please!?

    I listened to Mallard, Locke and Hide this arvo on the Hobbit bill and IMHO Rodders wiped the floor with the opposition but lo and behold on my way home I heard ZB news reporting on it and who did they play back?

    Not Rodders, not even Commie Keith but yes you guessed it folks. The smarmy, barely literate tones of the Wainui rooter.

    After the weasel Armstrong’s crap in todays Harold I am starting to believe in bloody conspiracy theories.

    Currently watching parliament. I think Trevor the Duck has secretly joined the National Party and has embarked on a mission to destroy the Labour Party. He has realised that all is lost and has jumped ship and is really getting stuck into to totally destroying his old party. The man does not realise just what a plonker he really is. He has been at since 2pmm this afternoon.

    Thanks for the post David – much appreciated :)

    @Rex

    FWIW Its not a content aggregator it contains original breaking news material on the conduct of Parliamentary Business. Its a live no spin resource – compiled by our staff – which tells you what bills are debated, passed, and what ever else actually happens in Parliament. Plus its a home for Tom Frewen and Reesh Lyon’s great audio reports on what happens each day.

    True it also has the PQ transcripts – because they are kinda relevant.

    On another matter – does anyone here have any views on http://theyworkforyou.co.nz? Its presently dormant – but there is some consideration being put into resurrecting it.

    regards
    Alastair
