Parata before Douglas? Pffftttt.

I must say that was my first reaction too David. But are we really surprised?

Must have been an effing good Xmas piss-up!

Given the way this seems to be intended – MPs in Parliamentary debate (not including Question Time etc.), then is John Key really a lawmaker?

@Manolo – doesn’t come naturally to praise a Nat MP (and she won’t thank me for it – actually she might but shouldn’t) but Adams is one of the brightest new Nat MPs, almost cetainly the hardest working, very good grasp of detail, and showed she has a real heart when she came back from Canterbury post quake. If entry to Cabinet was based on talent she would have been there not Hekia.

Trevor Mallard said “doesn’t come naturally to praise a Nat MP…but…”
Tis the season of goodwill

Is it on quantity, or quality? FFS, FIGJAM Power should be chased out of town by a posse looking to string him up from the nearest lamp-post. He is a fucking terrible Justice Minister. He’s ham-fisted everything he’s been given, even needing Collins to save his arse on at least one highly public occasion (Bill Wilson). The prick is a complete waste of space, and has no place in the National Party. He should remove the mask and fuck off to his ideological bed-fellows in the watermelons. Fucking totalitarian control-freak.

Offshore Kiwi is right: Figjam Power is a complete waste of space. The provincial conveyance lawyer is useless.

I’m glad to see Ann Tolley in the upper quarter – she’s been singled out as Cabinets weakest link, but her message still gets through on National Standards. The juvenile way Teachers behaved at the PPTA (Or NZEI) conference only showed that she was willing to go and talk to teachers, but that teachers didn’t want to talk to her.
