Mitchell wins Rodney

has won ’s nomination for on the first ballot – a resounding victory. Congratulations to him.

I’ve profiled Mark previously here.

Rodney is a very safe seat for National, so Mark is likely to have a relativly long parliamentary career.

    He’ll probably turn out to be much less than the narrative.. but it’ll take a year or two to find out. But we live in hope.
