why should Goff sell, he’s doing nothing illegal in owning it?

But I suppose you still think Bill English should resign for owning a home in Wellington.

he said he was going to sell it Mick Mac .. another flip flop. The reason he gave for not selling was that it needed a new dunny or something

I suppose that was the Heartland Institute’s climate change conference, they who supposedly “question the reality and import of climate change, second-hand smoke health hazards”.

I guess it’s no worse than Ardern going to a Socialist Youth conference.

No Pete it is one of his fairest points, that it doesn’t fit your lefty lets tax the world and share the wealth worldview is why you state the opposite.

Mick Mac – if he looks at all aspects of potential climate change issues then fine, but this is one quite biased slant to it.

Well, everything was above board. He was cleared by the investigation.

However, in politics, perception is everything.

Amazed how few have Parliamentary superanuation. Is that compulsory or not ?
Disappointed to see how few have investments in sharemarket. Good on Jim Anderton with CBA shares, they are the top performer of the big four Aussie banks. Jim is on a winner.

It might be a 5cm high replica. And (of course) it would be made in China.

  18. Rex Widerstrom (4,971) Says:

Fascinating stuff buried away there, such as Cam Calder’s involvement in “Restoration project of ruin, Gers, France”. Sounds cool, at least to this nerd.

And Sir Roger Douglas has a declarable interest in Pumpkin Patch… that’s such a bizarre conjunction I can’t quite get my head round it.

Tim Groser apparently owns a hotel room in the Auckland CBD. Does that mean I can rent it and then call him up to ask for fresh towels?

It’ll come as no surprise to some to learn that Green MP Kevin Hague owns a business called Kiwicranks, given many of you have suspected for years that that’s precisely what he is :-D

Twice John Key was given bottled water as a gift. Twice. Cheap bastards… that’s the kind of thing you hand someone as a joke birthday present right before you bring out the Single Malt you actually intend giving them. Clearly we’re still being confused with Australia, where water is either brown and washing away your house, or not falling from the sky.

Most starling of all, though, is the disclosure that Hilary Calvert owns a plethora of properties and runs “Calvert and Co – provision of advice and business services”… all of which suggest the application of a degree of intelligence. Clearly we’ve been fobbed off with a retarded clone version, in the mould of Bitch Stewie.

  21. Nookin (2,520) Says:

    Penny’s theory goes like this:

Bank of America was one of a number of banks/institutions that helped with a Petrobras share float a couple of years back.
It is possible (no evidence either way it seems) that BA has shares in Petrobras. Even if it does not have shares, it made money out of the float.
Petrobras now has an exploration license off the coast of NZ.
This, in turn, has made money for Key via Bank of America.
I see Petrobras and Bank of America trembling at Key’s influence!

Rex, actually from what I’ve seen of him on Back Benches, Kevin Hague seems one of the more reasonable Green MPs. Certainly when compared to Full Moon Delahunty.

So I suppose Penny that it would be quite OK for the PM to have shares in the Bank of Havana? Give us a break for Gods sake.
What’s the difference between rich prick Gentleman Jim having shares in the CBA & JK having shares in the Bank of America?
