All I’m saying is, I think awards that focused on which organisations focused best on achieving operational excellence, would be a better ranking of their relative merits. And AFAIK, there aren’t any awards for doing that, and there should be. Lots of them, all the time, in both govt and private. The Deloitte’s Fast 50 or whatever it is, is meaningless marketing pap as is usual from the big consultancies, how about some awards that have categories like fastest to market, best product/service, most efficient service delivery, all of that. That might actually say something relevant and generate debate and interest about what precisely the winners did to achieve it, which is what you want – to propagate those techniques into the wider community.

I sometimes do speak out against posts here – but your statement is nonsense. I don’t read everything, and I don’t take much notice of a lot if at a glance it doesn’t interest me. I’m not condoning anything here if I don’t “speak out”.

Now theres an idea worthy of greater merit. Awarded an accolade by the minons beneath you as opposed to high profile opinion shapers.
