These poll results here seem to indicate the Greens between August 2008 and July 2011 got a full 2% of their support from “other.” The rest of the Green’s rise and rise came from disaffected Liarbore people.
So it would seem the Gweens are attwacting the people who would otherwise be the McGillicuddy Serious Party core supporters were these normal times.
Crikey.
jaba apparently Steve Chadwick is a good electorate MP. Personally I have no time for anything she has ever done and I resent paying her, for any significant value she has ever added to anything for all the millions she’s cost us over the years, is what?
It says a lot for the Liarbore caucus tho don’t it that the most telegenic face they could think of to brand the face of Liarbore on Parliament TV every single Question Time, was Steve’s.
They should have put Lianne Dalziel on instead of her. They’d be up in the polls, tell ya.
Good post there DPF. You must have good weighting calculations readily available. Of course you do.
I think Mana might surprise. There, it could come down to young (Mana) vs old (MP) and we know what the demographics are there including the Australian-resident voters.
I really hope Annette Sykes gets to discuss things with Don in the House, on occasion. That will be really good, but not for Don I fear.
Can Liarbore possibly get any worse?
Let’s just hope all the journos take note of Phil’s plaintive plea to stop flogging his dead
leadership hopes and dreamsor horse or whatever it is he said. I’m sure they will, now he’s asked them nicely. Why one never even noticed it, really. So yes, they can, and probably will.

Surely will:
Nats 57; Lab 25; Greens 11 – Davis, Nash and Sepuloni are toast, according the Dom-Post; it’s carnage.

The Nats with 57 MPs might have an unruly caucus. Remember 1990-93? However, if JK doesn’t make any dopey pledges, they should be alright for 2014. I sure hope ACT get 4-5 MPs. Someone needs to keep the National party honest.
cheers
