Rugby World Cup 18 September 2011
September 18th, 2011 at 1:27 pm by David FarrarWas walking around Christchurch this morning and passed a sidewalk cafe. Just as I walked past I heard one woman saying to another “so was it 15 to 9″ and I said “15 to 6″ as I passed them, knowing that there was only one possible game they could have been discussing.
Today
- Wales v Samoa – 3.30 pm. Hoping Samoa do an upset.
- England v Georgia 6.00 pm. All behind Georgia.
- France vs Canada 8.30 pm. Can Canada do it again?
No games tomorrow but there is one on Tuesday.

I almost can’t believe Wales is such a strong favourite at $1.35. Go Samoa!

That was a bloody exciting game- and goes to prove that you don’t need an 80 point romp with twelve tries scored to have an entertaining game of footy!! Initeresting that I havn’t heard a peep from NZ fans complaining about this today! Usually all we hear is how “boring and dull” the Home Nations are….

Listening to some of the chest beating and bragging from NZ rugby fans on talkback you would think the All Blacks had already won the World Cup! Do they not realise this isn’t necassarily a great result for them? France defeated Ireland pretty comfortably Pre Tournament….could it be the Northern Hemisphere teams are going to be a bit tougher than most Kiwis dare to think???

yup, it’s a little embarrassing really. NZ can be a sad little nation at times.

Ah, such unbridled joy. Lets just hope Aus don’t end up beating the ABs in the semi!

I wonder if Rachel Smalley would get on her sanctimonious high horse if anyone were to expose what her ‘Saintly’ All Blacks get up to when they hit the town?? Because as anyone in Hospitality will tell you- they ain’t no angels!! Not even those ‘role models’ you see splashed all over Woman’s Day magazine covers…

Nasal Smalley is an utter waste of space. Her moanings and wailings deserve to be ignored.
