Gower sings the Stars and Stripes

October 4th, 2011 at 12:38 pm by David Farrar

TV3′s political reporter Paddy Gower lost a bet to the Green Party about who would win the USA versus Rugby World Cup match. Paddy reckoned , and the had their money on the USA.

This must be the first time in history that Keith Locke backed the USA over Russia :-)

Unfortunately for Paddy, the USA cleaned up 13 points to 6 so he had to came along to the Greens Caucus meeting and sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Will Ginga Norman get another all-expenses paid, free trip to the United States, courtesy of the State Department, for his support?

Perhaps Locke sees Obama’s America is more left than Putin’s Russia.

I’ll bet the Greens wished they’d let Gower off the hook – that was terrible.

His singing is as bad as his reporting.

Wow that was horrible. But v funny.

D’you know what almost sickens me. 90% of the people in that room despise America and that anthem. And rail against it, and score political points of criticicing it. And yet if it weren’t for the Continental Army, the Union Army, the 101st Airborne, and today the US Navy and US Marines, the middle-class ‘green-movement’, wouldn’t enjoy the freedom is not has.

The progressive are spoiled children of those that provide them freedom to shit all over the home that others have sacrificed to build them.

What EWS said….brilliant! Yes…the Greens are the bastard children of the very Capitalist system they hate….the irony that they would not exist,or even be allowed to under their beloved socialism escapes them…
