A charitable donation

Did my $1,000 donation today, as promised for the Mallard-Slater race. I said I’d donate $1,000 to CCS if Mallard won or $1,000 to the Mental Health Foundation if Slater won. So CCS Disability Action got the donation.
Sadly it looks like there won’t be a sequel boxing match for me to sponsor/donate to

Only now, the race was in August. Taken you 7 months to part with that.
Mr Flatt received my ill gotten gains the next available day.

March is a popular month for donations as you can claim tax back soon after.
Not applicable if you’re on payroll giving.

And predictably, as usual with Labour, it was with some other bugger’s money

Good on you David. CCS does well out of us dairy farmers. Every spring we raise a bull calf till it is weaned, CCS collects the calfs and takes them to auction. Each calf can fetch between 200 to $400 so it’s a good earner for CCS.

You’re a bit slow with the zipper on your purse David. Was it rusted up?
I sent my $100 to CCS within the week.
