    One more day until the year is over and some months before you need to file, unless you mean US returns which are typically due around 17 April.

    Unless you are like Ned Flanders and do your as soon as you can.

    KiwiGreg, it is Douglas MacArthur and it does say “IRS”‘ not “IRD” which is a clue.

    I’m such an old accountant that I recall a pissup about 40 years ago when we all got drunk and started throwing the tax act around the room and at each other. In those days it was a book. Nowadays it is three huge volumes of loose leaf papers; loose leaf so that the hare brained changes thought up by that clown from Ohariu can have his numerous amendments entered relatively easily.
