The Boards are not demanding anything
March 24th, 2012 at 12:00 pm by David FarrarSigh – another sloppy story.
The Herald reports a NewstalkZb story:
Auckland’s Local Boards are demanding action on the ports dispute.
More than 30 members have told the Council it’s time to stop sitting on its hands, and step in.
Board member Michael Wood says the port’s management and board are out of control, and exposing the city’s economy to an enormous risk.
The Boards have not demanded anything. 30 assorted board members (most of whom will be union backed Labour Party candidates or activists like Michael Wood) have demanded something.
There are a total of 148 local board members, so this Labour Party grouping represents around 20% only.

Such are the plans of mice and man, oops sorry the left. It’s just not going as planed, poor unionists. It was suppose to be so easy, screw POA , increase union dominance and booster lefty coffers. But it’s all gone pear shape and now the left are squealing like little girls as their union thugs struggle to make ends meet. They are the makers of their own misfortunes, looks like it might be time for a career change.

The members of the Journalists Union are certainly going all out to distort facts to suit their MUNZ comrade’s bullshit.

Good point grumpy. Hard to stomach isn’t it when the people whose profession is to print facts without fear or favour simply refuse to do so when it doesn’t suit their political agenda. How the hell they think they can call themselves professionals, I have no idea.
Complete and utter lying scum is a much more accurate description of them, on their coverage of this affair to date.

What’s Michael Wood’s role in this as he patiently waits for Phil Goff’s Mt Roskill seat to become vacant? The voters of Roskill should take a mental note, before he ever becomes their Labour MP, that pursuing union objectives is usually Michael’s first priority.
