Interesting that Luc uses the term “false narratives” and states that Israel is the only country rejecting the 2 state solution.

How many peace offerings have there been? In 2000, Arafat was offered everything and still rejected it.

How long has Mahmoud Abbas been rejecting to even talk to Israel? 3 years! When it was leaked that the Palestinians were actually prepared to negotiate to allow peace with Israel, look at the uproar (Palileaks).

Of course Hamas rejects the two state solution entirely. Luc does too .. he often talks about that there will be just a single country called Palestine.

Luc mentions a two state solution and the BDS movement. BDS are very clear that they want the two state solution to be “a Palestine next to a Palestine”.

In the meantime, we have bipartisan support (left and right, including the Greens!) in Australia and New Zealand. Political and trade groups are busy visiting Israel on Friendship and Trade Missions:

On what authority do you say that the Winklemann decision was unlawful? It has been appealed. The appellate courts have ruled it to have been lawful. Are you a higher authority? Who appointed you?

You complain that the decision overrode the rights of the defendants. You ignore the fact that the defendants supported the suppression order and wanted it to continue. Are not you being a wee bit selective?

The Supreme Court decision makes it quite clear that your mate deliberately and defiantly defied a court decision with which he did not agree. His actions were predicated on the self perception that he was a higher authority and had the right to ignore judicial decisions with which he did not agree.

It hasn’t been a good month for him, judicially speaking, has it?

Now tell me, Penny, don’t you believe in the rule of law?

Oswald was set free by the US Government who planned to use his skills in the vast conspiracy that was even then being planned. But, little could they know that Oswald would betray them …

Of course he did, and he was amazing. He was so amazing none of the FBI sharp-shooters were able to replicate his feat of accuracy and number of shots fired in the time he would have had to have done it in order to achieve what he did, according to the Warren Report, during the replication tests.

BUT THAT DOESN’T MATTER.

What matters is. If he didn’t do it acting alone, then thousands of people would have had to have been involved and surely shirley, one of them would have talked by now, therefore he must have done it, by himself, and anyone who says different is a commie.

Since January 2011, approximately 583 rockets and 300 mortar shells fired from Gaza have hit Israeli civilian areas.

Nice sidestep. I think you will find the mention of attacks I reponded to referred unequivocally to conflict between Arab states and Israel. All state actors.

As regards Hamas, you should examine the history of the conflict. Hamas’ military wing was only set up during the First Intifada, after some twenty years of brutal occupation and continued dispossession by Israel. The al Qassam Brigades is a resistance movement, responding to the original aggression of Israel ie the occupation.

Palestine’s Jews, themselves, resorted to terrorism both to drive out Britain and to dispossess Palestinians from an early stage.

However, the fact that you had to resort to an appeal to the actions of a small, non-state entity shows the accuracy of my statement.

1. Hamas has rescinded that [position, just as it has renounced terrorism as a tactic in the Palestinian struggle. You can search for Charlie Rose’s interview of Khaled Meshal in which the latter lays out his acceptance of a two state solution. In the meantime, Hamas has consistently asked for a long term truce with no predonditions (other than Israel stops attacking)

2. As regards myself, I support the two state solution as the only pragmatic pathway to settlement, but like all cases of colonialism where the indigenous people remain significant and extant, there is no full and final settlement until all injustices are redressed, in whatever form that takes. In my opinion, and in the absence of a final act of genocide by Israel, the final settlement will see the emergence of one country where power is shared through fully democratic elections.

And I repeat, the fixation on a relatively minor group in a population of around 5.5 million is deflection from the root causes.

Final note for TimG:

The appeal to anti-Semitism is losing its aura, even in the US. Anti-semitism exists, but it does not serve to cover for Israel’s sins against Palestinians.

Reputable people who oppose Israel’s actions do so from the point of view of justice and human rights, which are equally applicable to Jews. By definition, these people are not anti-Semites and include many prominent Jews amongst their number.

And when and why did Hezbollah form? After Israel attacked and occupied Lebanon. Why? As a resistance movement, one which actually achieved its aims and has been under constant attack by, and threats of attack from, Israel ever since.

Hezbollah did not from from anti-Semitic motivations – it was in response to the collective actions of an army of brutal occupiers.

There is no case for any claim of equivalence between Israel, Palestinians, Hamas, Hezbollah etc. That’s another false narrative.

The next morning, he can’t even raise himself from the bed to look out of the window. He asks his wife to look, and tell him if the sheep are lying in the grass. “No,” she says, “they’re all in the Land Rover and one of them is beeping the horn.”

I can tell you who did it, from the Zeebrugger film and from clips a minute beforehand calling off the bodyguards who had up till then been jogging directly beside the car. If you have a look at the Zebbrugger film, you can see who the final fatal frontal shot comes from the front, not the back. I don’t know who did it, but the best theory I have heard comes from “The men who killed Kennedy” which alleges it was a shooter on the overhead bridge, right in front and above of the limo. The point is PiA, just because you don’t actually know who actually did it and how, doesn’t mean you don’t know that what the authorities are telling you, isn’t bullshit. You really are stupid, if you think that, and many people do, simply because they cannot believe the govt would lie to them over something like this, which is what of course, per Goebells, the govt relies on. Der.

BTW, how come the FBI confiscated all the films. The Zebrugger film is the only one which ‘escaped’ and that was only by accident. Most of the time, people with 3-digit IQs would ask themselves, how come the govt confiscated all the other evidence which might have showed what actually happened.

But even knowing who fired that fatal shot that doesn’t tell you who was responsible for it.

Although I can give you about 5 reasons as to why they may have wanted to do it.

But that still doesn’t tell you why they did it or more importantly, why the MSM has failed to look seriously at it, over the entire 50 years since it happened.

All these questions, are what opened minded people should be answering for themselves. Closed minded people just think, it can’t have been the govt and they can’t have covered it up so what possible innocent explanation is there for all of this peculiar shit, oh fuck it, Here’s Lucy is on again, let’s watch that instead and not think about it anymore. People who don’t get nothing happened are just nuts.

They might have wanted to do it because JFK had recently:
said he would “scatter the CIA to the four winds”
said he would withdraw the “[then] advisors” from Vietnam
signed Executive Order 11110 stripping the Fed of its power to print money
threatened to tell the American people about the UFO contacts the govt had been having since the 50’s
Also, JFK was the only President in 200 years without bloodline linkages to European Aristocracy.

Reasons 1-3 are the most likely.

Johnson announced “a re-assessment of [JFK’s] re-assessment a week or so after and the Vietnam war was on track. How valuable was that? A lot of people who understand the monetary supply think the 11110 reason has legs, but you need to understand how that works.

Bottom line is, who knows without proof? No-one. Duh.

This lack of proof does not mean the govt’s explanation is kosher and this is the fallacy that many fools cling to, in whatever hope they have.

This is what I personally don’t get with people like you. WTF is wrong with your logical faculties that you find it completely and utterly inconceivable that even with the sorts of things at stake as I have outlined, that people still would not kill, for those reasons? The run on Green banks is well and truly under way:

Karolos Papoulias, the Greek president, warned party leaders that their continued failure to agree was risking “fatal consequences”. Citing a secret government document, he said Greeks were already pulling £80 million a day out of the country’s banks. Almost €1 billion (£795 million) has been withdrawn since the last elections on May 6.

Greece is simply ahead of the curve. Plenty of other countries are lining up for 2nd, 3rd and 4th place. Officers of government that borrow their way into office should be held accountable for the blood that will inevitably flow.

What Bollocks. An “Electronic Intifada” article on why we can’t have peace with Israel. Given that Arafat himself said the two issues were 1) the right of return of Palestinian refugees and their descendents; and 2) that Israel gives up any religious recognition of the Temple Mount. Even Palileaks showed those were the issues. Come on, I bet you can’t find an independent reference to those claims.

Hamas claims lots of things, but their charter remains opposed to a state of Israel. In December they renounced terrorism, only to praise it the very next day. Hamas also say that Gaza is no longer occupied. I guess they can say what they like to media. The rockets keep flying regardless.

Luc fits Natan Sharansky’s 3 D’s definition of Anitsemitism: Delegitimisation, Double Standard and Demonisation. It’s warming to know that the rest of the world sees through this crap, and is working to make peace. The BDS movement is not accepted politically except by the most extremists. In NZ, it might only be the Mana party (although its not a declared policy)

There’s no point debating with Luc. He’s so close minded. He even calls peace protesters “Zionists” (i.e. mepeace). Usually I don’t bother.
