Chuck you missed by a mile. Sex in public was not my point, the point was who decided where the donation was going? Was it the Judge, family member, the Police, the Council.
There seems to be some interference on money being paid in a certain direction.
I have to work tomorrow but maybe someone who has the time can join the dots as to who is connected with those involved

I simply decided to ignore philu today, to see if he can work out that at 60 years old he should really try acting like a mature adult. I will probably try to ignore him tomorrow, as I suspect he hasn’t got it yet. But it’s certainly not my place to tell anybody else what to do.

Ah yes Jimmy things were so much better then when the Raj ruled the jolly old British Empire!

I actually think the UK learned a great deal from their rule of India. It was both the platform which both made and broke the empire in many many fascinating ways.

I mean when they first went in, how the fuck do you even rule such a populous sub-continent? I mean you get 20-something sub-lieutenants in charge of 10,000 square miles of territory with no wireless comms and huge tribal insurrections with the signals dept consisting of nothing but jungle drums and horse relays. And out of all of that the Brits managed to pull together what we saw in all the colonies. Stable centralised decision-making, stable institutions establishing first, the rule of law and second, justice, stable consistent education, etc etc etc.

It’s absolutely amazing what the Brits of just 150-200 years ago achieved, given the attitudes of today’s generation who would probably collapse in 5 mins if the internet went down and they couldn’t post on Facebook or interact with “the cloud.”

It’s a bit of a worry, isn’t it.

P.s. I think the “right” smiley is a personal decision Johnboy. A bit like trousers. Does it feel right? If so, you just don’t even need to think about it ever again. If not then you can’t stop thinking about it and can’t wait to take them off.

However, perhaps we should bring back the old post of District Officer, where a jolly old public schoolboy had the power of life and death over the fuzzie-wuzzies.

Would do wonders for law and order in say Cannons Creek or Hillary Court Naenae! 🙂 🙂

Normal people get it from a positive experience,hug or kiss,inclusion,praise, presents ,etc
For some some people the only way to get strokes is from what most would call negative experiences. In many this is a learned response.
Others get their interaction by being bullies It bolsters their ago gives them power.

It is not hard to see the preferred method for this phenomenon in some people. …

…EH…

And the effect on this blog resultantly.

A parliamentary report published today says that a lack of self esteem is damaging a generation of children who may struggle with school work and forming friendships.
All children could now attend body confidence and self esteem classes at school.
And now calling someone ‘fatty’ should be deemed a hate crime, these MPs say.
The Government should consider putting ‘appearance-based discrimination’ on a legal par with race and sexual discrimination, the report suggests.

I mean everyone knows, don’t they, that 5 year olds simply obsess about their appearance. Every single 5 year old I have ever known has done nothing but preen themselves in front of a mirror and fretted endlessly about how best to rid themselves quick smart of their “stupid” “baby” “fat.” This is just natural thinking for all we humans after all, so naturally the only thing to do is get with the program and get the law involved, with hate crimes. What else could possibli happen? Surely there is no other solution to this travesty? Of course there isn’t.

Yes LJ I was going to include a whole smegging lot of palaver about how this is a written median and the only way to represent the nuance of communication.

Is at times ridicule anger or derision and the rest of the non verbal communication displays we exhibit.
IT becomes offensive when it is ongoing prosecution of that emotion. for others as it becomes embarrassing to witness the corrupt exchange.

Griff like everyone else on Earth, of course I understand the secret agenda for a global state: a world govt; world central bank; world army imposing the will of the world govt; world currency and a micro-chipped population linked to a global computer. I mean it’s quite obvious, isn’t it. How come others don’t see it as well?

What I don’t understand is, how come I have this overwhelming urge to grow a small toothbrush-like mou and shout maniacally into the mirror at imaginary crowds?
