@ dime & David Garrett: Millwater is mostly on the land between Silverdale and the Wainui overbridge, stretching up towards the Caltex station. They’ve put in some very short walking tracks.

It’s quite a nice area to walk around, actually. There’s a 7 km track that goes through it and around the Orewa estuary, past the bottom of Orewa College – my daughter frequently has to run around it for PE at school, ha ha.

And of course, you have the fabulous Hibiscus Coast. If you’re into boating, fishing, any form of water sports, it’s a magical spot. My daughter and I go out in kayaks from Waiwera or Wenderholm and go fishing (last time she caught more than I did :()

Russell has always struck me as a bit cheap. I expect the re-cycling bin was where he found her in the first place.

Hopefully he’ll pick up on your helium suggestion so as to introduce a little more excitement into their relationship. He’ll be able to wack her on the arse and then chase her all around the house.

That’s because like all on the left, they do not have the wide political view or the intellect to do otherwise.

It’s amusing to see people who pretend to espouse freedom,condemning Lucia for her point of view. Even more so when those people use her views to condemn Roman Catholicism and indeed all religion.The attacks are fast and furious with very little debate or expansiond beyond the nasty and derogatory comments.

You people are quick to call her a bigot while exhibiting all the signs of bigotry and hatred yourselves, oh and shit loads of the ad homs that are so condemned by the self styled rational and reasonable ones.

Thank you. I have felt like this for a long time, and am so glad to see that others also feel the same way. If two people have children together, I honestly believe they should make the biggest effort they possibly can to stay together for the sake of the children. Unless there is some seriously bad stuff going on in the relationship, a father and mother owe it to their children to stay together and give them a stable home.

And the other points you posted, about how you would care for your children – all sensible stuff. Hell, I think you may just have the makings of a good parent, one day!

(PS – I’m kind of wary of posting this, because some may see it as an attack on a certain someone. Honestly, it’s not intended that way.)

Nothing wrong with that, dude. I know several couples who have chosen to put their careers or own interests first, and decided not to have children. Good on them. I love my daughter, but children are a huge commitment in every way you can imagine. If someone is honest enough to say they don’t want that commitment, and they’re not going to succumb to peer pressure to have children, then I say good on them for being honest.
