No to be mistaken for an african clawed toad…
And not to be mistaken for one of those nasty, slimy Gween things that haunt the left extremity of the political spectrum!
These frogs can change their hue, and are usually emerald green. I used to have one as a pet. This is a ‘darkie’ one, or as Hone Harawira would say…
If I had one as a pet, I think I would call it Russell and keep it under the stairs like it’s namesake.
