Surprisingly good
September 27th, 2012 at 11:00 am by David FarrarThe ads to promote Christchurch to the Aussies are surprisingly good. I thought “Bob Thinks Big” could be lame, but actually they have pulled it off quite nicely. You actually want to keep watching.
Episode 1 is below, and at the conclusion of it, you can watch episodes 2 and then 3.

It’s quite good. It’s also good to see him leading and it should encourage other Cantabs with moving forward. The same do-nothing fuckwits will complain no doubt. Can you imagine that awful Lianne Dalziel doing this? No, she’s too snooty.

Yes, I like the continued reference to pineapples. I understand Australians call their $50 note ‘pineapples’ on account of their bright yellow colour.

Its a bit ‘wanky’ isn’t it?
Just another thing for the average Aussie bloke to put shet on us.

I have an idea. Why doesn’t Bob build a model of a big coal/gold mine? That may attract the Ozzies.
Bring on episode 4

Advertising the impossible, really.
I’m not sure why anyone would voluntarily go to Christchurch.

Oh come on, it was all rather sad. I wouldn’t call it “surprisingly good.” It was “unsurprisingly bad.”
