Collins meeting with justice dignatories on US visit

The Justice Minister is off to the US for a week, to compare their justice system with ours.

Judith Collins has meetings lined up with Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano.

She’ll also visit Adult Drug Courts and learn about measures being taken by the FBI and police to prevent drug-related crime.

Good news!

There has been NO global warming in the last 16 years, and the temperature has only risen 0.75 degrees since 1880.

* The figures reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012 there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures
* This means that the ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996

The world stopped getting warmer almost 16 years ago, according to new data released last week.

The figures, which have triggered debate among climate scientists, reveal that from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012, there was no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures.

This means that the ‘plateau’ or ‘pause’ in global warming has now lasted for about the same time as the previous period when temperatures rose, 1980 to 1996. Before that, temperatures had been stable or declining for about 40 years.

The new data, compiled from more than 3,000 measuring points on land and sea, was issued quietly on the internet, without any media fanfare, and, until today, it has not been reported.

Here are three not-so trivial questions you probably won’t find in your next pub quiz. First, how much warmer has the world become since a) 1880 and b) the beginning of 1997? And what has this got to do with your ever-increasing energy bill?

You may find the answers to the first two surprising. Since 1880, when reliable temperature records began to be kept across most of the globe, the world has warmed by about 0.75 degrees Celsius.

From the start of 1997 until August 2012, however, figures released last week show the answer is zero: the trend, derived from the aggregate data collected from more than 3,000 worldwide measuring points, has been flat.

Your evidence for your claim is what bereal? She was and is bisexual, which isn’t the same thing as being a lesbian. As far as I know she married him and had kids with him because she was in love with him at the time not for some lifestyle reason. And I’m not a homo. Have you been drinking again?

It helps if you have a good gaydar. In those cases where you can determine a woman’s orientation bisexuality is quite distinct from homosexuality. She is one of those cases where its clear, she is bisexual rather than gay.

Andrew McMillan points out that most of our main trading partners aren’t using QE. More of them use nuclear energy than use QE. Using Norman’s logic does that mean we should go nuclear?

After their session, Natalie questioned the man. “No one has ever used me three nights in a row. Where are you from?” she asked.
The man replied, “Wellington.” “Really” she said. “I have family in Wellington.”
“I know,” the man said. “Your father died and I am your sister’s lawyer. She asked me to give you your $3,000 inheritance.”
The moral of the story is: Three things in life are certain:
1. Death.
2. Taxes.
3. Being screwed by a lawyer.

Okay so there was these three men that worked at a construction site. Well, one day they sat down and opened their lunch. The African guy opened up his lunch and got rice. He said that if he got rice again tomorrow that he was going to jump off the building. The Mexican opened up his lunch and got a burrito.
