I got up at 4.15 am to go out to Angkor Wat to see it in the sunrise. Was it worth it? I’ll let you decide. These photos were taken around 5 to 8 minutes apart.

Was just magnificent.

That is cruel and unusual to post those during the working week. Amazing pics, top work.

Sorry but I disagree. You can get this sort of sunrise over any lake in New Zealand. 4:15am… Not my thing.

Awesome, DPF. Well worth the 4.15am start.
@Jimmy Smits: Please let me know the lake in New Zealand where I can watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat.
No? Thought not.
Pffttt…..

You’re getting jaded old son. If you’ve seen too many sunrises it might be time to consider taking a walk into the Pacific, pulling the nearest wave over your head & calling it a day.
It will set the socialist movement within NZ back a few years but over time they’ll probably get themselves together & bravely, yet tearfully, carry on.

I have stood in that very spot and at the same time 9 months ago, there was more cloud, so the picture came out quite dramatic

Stunning photography! Dont let the boring, sour, unartistic constituency put you off.
