I don’t understand how the Gweens can possibly hallucinate that this is a bad thing. What the heck is wrong with these people that they don’t see the drop dead obvious reality of a really huge building called Weta Workshop and all the not so obvious ancilliary businesses, and the export dollars earned, and on and on and on and on, about the benefits, including not least upskilling the population in both highly technical but also highly creative high-end marketable skills? Would they rather have thousands of long-haired barefoot hippies tilling field after field in a peaceful, gween setting? Is that what they think about when they imagine their ideal nation, in 2012 and beyond? Apparently, it is. Why else do they think this is such a bad thing? What a bunch of roaring mentals.
