Doesn’t seem very practical, nor is a helicopter a very accurate platform to try to take out enemies using snipers. Not totally safe either…..one of those half inch rounds could ricochet & graze one of the poor Palestinians & then the handwringers would get all upset again.

The Israelis could stop the rockets tomorrow. All they have to do is flatten everything in Palestine that stands more than 300mm high. I once heard someone say that it’s interesting how often someone from outside a nation who comes to lead it, is destructive to it. Hitler, Napoleon, Stalin.

Hitler as you would know made two inexplicable fatal decisions. The first of course was failing to close the trap at Dunkirk. The second was dividing the army between Moscow and the oil-fields in the Caucuses. Apparently the forces between Moscow and his army which had to that point completely decimated all opposition were very light. Just as Hitler could have easily captured the entire British Army at Dunkirk, he could have taken Moscow. And take Moscow, you take Russia. And he did that, twice.
