Ask any teen, or in fact most kids over 12, like I did – I had an idea but it was confirmed. Gay has two meanings, and this group knows them both well and their respective contexts. One is that used by the ‘gay community’, the other is something thats naff, silly or requiring of a gentle put down in a humourous context.

Moronic gween MP’s parading around in red shirts merely confirm what we already know – they are attention seeking morons. And I suspect most thinking NZ’ers know what JK meant, and think the media are out of touch. Hence why very few people buy their ‘product’.

Al the media created/driven fuss over saying a red shirt is gay is simply part of a homosexual effort to claim ownership of the word. Incidentally, are all employees at red radio gay?
