I recall after one General Election when Jim Anderton was asked which way he thought Winston would go and Jim replied by asking the interviewer if they had a ouija board.

The Earth's axis has actually shifted a bit since the Babylonians invented astrology. As a result there are, in some astronomers views, now technically 13 signs in the zodiac. In their view, anyone born Nov 29 and Dec 17 is an Ophiuchus.

I find the stars quite accurate sometimes, when I look up at the sky they tell me it's night time. And if it's too dark to see them that's also a sign that it's night. Talking of looking into the future, Brian Edwards is not happy with inaccurate predictions. Just looking out the window – can the New Zealand Metservice really do any better? I suggested that the weather was a greater socialist leveler, that all people are equally rained on - if they don't have flash umbrellas.
