Hamnida asserts that Key is lying so bears the burden. Right — I agree. I have a more expanded view. If you are trying to take something away — whether it be liberty, property or reputation, then the burden is on the taker.

It was John Key that asserted that 3000 jobs were created. Thus the onus is on him.

Just to be clear, I am not a defender of hamnidaV2, I suspect we may share some views, but he seems quite capable of looking after himself.

So, Hamnida. You don’t know where the jobs are, you don’t know the names of those with the jobs and you don’t know how they got them. You admittedly therefore know nothing at all about job creation but, in your own mind, know enough to say that Key is lying. A grain of bigotted prejudice there perhaps?

The burden of proof lies with the person making the assertion. If you disagree; I have a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit between the Earth and Mars that I'd like to sell to you.
