Re the designer dogs, I notice a pair of matching Dalmations seems to be a growing trend.

All dogs are designer dogs man. Where the fuck do you see a dog in nature that looks like any kind of dog that people have got? Is it nowhere? I know what you mean though.

On the subject of political stripes within TVNZ or the wider television / film / music industries (commercial radio not included), if you think Nact has any friends in there you’ve got rocks in your head. When I was at TVNZ shortly before Labour’s election defeat, there were flyers posted all round the downstairs facilities areas urging staff to turn out for Labour, because their jobs were on the line, there’d be a sale etc etc yawn.

I thought it was outrageous and brought it up with a few people who naturally took it as an admission I was a Nazi. To be honest it should have been a news item that close to the election – as if.

It’s got to be a similar scenario at TV3. Forget Campbell Live – that’s only half an hour out of 24 – somebody programmed that awful Bryan Bruce ‘poverty’ documentary 3 days out from the last election didn’t they? And somebody commissioned it too.

I believe TVNZ, TV3, National Radio and Maori TV are stacked with enemies of National. Surely National knows this. Must be galling when you’re paying their wages!
