Who will pay for it in 20 years?
Why is a low paid workforce being taxed to pay for the infrastructure of an increasing population due to external migration, When the Savings Working Group claim this process “appears to have worked directly against the adjustments we needed to make as a nation”?
The problem of high land prices is a problem of land values being captured by private interests. No one madeland.

Savings Working Group put the blame for high house prices “fairly and squarly ” on the policies of sucessive governments. Politically we have an unholy alliance between the diversity dividend/ I wanna job at UN types and those who live off unearned capital gains. Shearer can’t make an argument without crossing the rubicon which says that outsiders may not be an asset to the majority (National’s political master’s aside).

Building more homes means mitigating a shortage that is escalating Auckland property prices and rents.

Selling the houses built above cost means it is not possible to lose money doint this . It makes sense.

People voted for WFF because it was good for ethir families and they will voite for this because it is good for their children being able to afford a home.
