Another Luddite Green wanting to save the planet. So its eels now.

I once saw a green and could have sworn there was something different apart from it performing a goat dance.. and then I saw it… 8 fingers on each hand.

Have heard Eugenie Sage going in parliament and can assure you she is of the nay saying totally inconsequential useless type of greenie. She seems to be very negative about anything constructive.
To me she is one of the most impotent green members along with Catherine Delahunty .
She is constantly defending the old Ecan organiztion which I think she was a member of.

I thought I was reasonably up with the play re parliament and parliamentarians but I can honestly say that until now I never knew that we had an MP called Eugenie Sage … now I do and noting her priorities apparently lie with protecting long finned eels I wish I didn’t …. MMP has much to answer for.

I laughed at her bemoaning the lack of opportunity to deal with matters in depth in parliament and then she proposes a highly important bill on eels for god’s sake.

Are these people all so self-absorbed that being an MP is a little more than a well-paid way for them to play in a very expensive sandpit and indulge themselves?

How can anyone with any sense vote for them?

Although due to being arrested and convicted in a protest for an Environmental/Social/Human rights cause being practically a pre requisite to be a Green Party MP going to any US territory must presumable involve a visit to a consulate or Embassy to get a Visa…..

What is it about green MPs and irrelevants animals?

The telegenic Gareth Hughes devotes quite a bit of his time – for which we pay him over $150,000 now a year – to maui’s dolphins, the numbers of which no-one knows, but for their ‘protection’ an industry in Taranaki is shut down by Wellington bureaucrats.

Is this sort of thing the best use of MPs’ time, and the best use of the money we pay them?
