This will be the first question presided over by the new speaker, David Carter. Today Labour is asking four questions, The have two questions, and New Zealand First have one question. Labour is asking whether the Prime Minister stands by his statements, whether the Prime Minister has confidence in the Minister for Building and Construction (Maurice Williamson), job creation and is asking the Minister of Education which decisions, if any she regrets. The Greens are asking about “Green Jobs” and the decision of the government to refuse to let  West Papuan independence activist Benny Wenda speak at parliament. NZ First is asking about Mainzeal's involvement in the Canterbury Rebuild.
