Then we let people back on and see if they have improved their behaviour.
If they repeat the behaviour(s) that got them banned last time then they wind up with a short sharp and preferably quite humiliating bounce. Of course there will be a few fools who take it as a badge of honour to be banned from TS – the ones who congregate at whaleoil or the sewer to display their badge of stupid behaviour and lie about why they banned.
But many will have learnt to not repeat dumb behaviours. The key to doing it is when there is time to have a moderator solidly available to deal with the usual idiots who fail to learn from their past foolishness.

It is just now escalating..There is and has been for a long time a lot of tension between China and Japan..Another area hotting up but not rec’g much attention is the China/US battle over the Pacific. Well at least the Chinese won’t need to teach the Fijians any torture methods..Does anyone have the facts on Fiji’s current military capability? Is it greater than NZ’s? Chinese money buys a lot of toys.
Our attorneys asked the Supreme Court to consider lifting the �stay� on our injunction against Section 1021 and indefinite detention. As you�ll recall, we won our lawsuit last September and were granted a worldwide injunction against this provision � ensuring people could not be indefinitely detained under the sweeping and unchecked scope of the NDAA.
Despite having issued a signing statement in January of 2012 claiming he would not use these powers against American citizens, Obama immediately appealed Judge Forrest�s ruling and our win, then went further and asked her to grant a stay on the injunction, essentially �lifting� that injunction. She refused.
Next, the DOJ attorneys went to the second circuit court and asked them to lift the stay as well, claiming �irreparable harm� would be incurred by the US if the government did not have these unchecked powers. The second circuit court judges granted their request and put a stay on our injunction.
We applied to both Justice Ginsberg (who said no) and Justice Scalia (who said yes) to convene a conference of the entire Supreme Court to consider lifting that stay and restoring our injunction. They told us yesterday that they will not lift the stay � indefinite detention under the NDAA stands.

International Arrest Warrant issued against Pope Francis I, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, for Crimes against Humanity and Child Trafficking
Italians and others are empowered to apprehend the new Pontiff

The same Common Law Court that tried and sentenced his predecessor and other church and state officials has today issued an Arrest Warrant against the first Jesuit Pope in history, Jorge Mario Bergoglio.
A signed and sealed copy of the Warrant is attached, and the text follows.
The Argentinian prelate assumed criminal liability and became subject to immediate arrest by occupying the Papal seat in the wake of the conviction of the Vatican as a criminal organization on February 25, 2013.
Bergoglio’s role in the death of Argentinian citizens during that country’s “Dirty War” and in the trafficking of the children of political prisoners also compelled the International Common Law Court of Justice to issue the Warrant today, which is one year in duration.
Italian and Argentinian citizens, and any man or woman, are authorized by the Warrant to be involved in Bergoglio’s public detaining.
“The Pope is the head of a predatory power that is waging an undeclared, centuries-old war against the entire non-Catholic world” commented ITCCS Field Secretary Kevin Annett today in Vancouver, where he delivered a copy of the Arrest Warrant to the Catholic Archdiocese office.
“Since we and our children are being assaulted by a corporation that is a law unto itself, we have the right to defend ourselves and detain or stop altogether those responsible, as in any war”.
A Public Proclamation is being read out in twenty eight countries this week by ITCCS members, publicly banning those church and state officials who cannot be immediately arrested under these Warrants.

King Obama went to a GOP function and was offered delicious food but declined because he wasn’t accompanied by his “taster”.
WASHINGTON — Following President Obama’s lunch meeting with Senate Republicans on Capitol Hill, Maine Republican Senator Susan Collins described the food served and said the president was not able to eat since his “taster” was not present.

BREAKING: US DEPLOYS MISSILES In Response To N Korea’s Threats
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel will announce Friday that the U.S. is deploying 14 new ground-based missile interceptors, probably in Alaska, defense officials told NBC News.
The officials didn’t say specifically why the interceptors were being deployed, but the announcement comes as North Korea has been making bellicose threats to void the armistice that ended the Korean War and launch a nuclear attack on the U.S.
The U.S. and South Korea began annual military drills this week despite the North Korean threats.
Hagel will make the announcement at a briefing scheduled for 3 p.m. ET, the officials said.

Cabinet minister and former head prefect at St Patrick’s College in Wellington Chris Finlayson will represent the Government at the inauguration mass of Pope Francis I in Rome on March 19.
Mr Finlayson is a regular Sunday mass attendee at St Mary of the Angels Church in Boulcott St.
He described the new pope’s inaugural mass as a momentous occasion for the worldwide Catholic community – including Catholics in New Zealand.
“On behalf of the Government, I wish him the best for his term of office and congratulate the people of Argentina on a hugely significant day in the history of that country,” said Mr Finlayson.
Mr Finlayson will depart New Zealand for Rome this weekend, and will return next Thursday.

EUROZONE leaders and the IMF today announced an unprecedented levy on all deposits in Cypriot banks as the sting in the tail of a 10-billion-euro bailout for the near-bankrupt government in Nicosia.
Intended to apply to everyone from pensioners to Russian oligarchs alleged to have billions stashed away in what officials say is a bloated Cypriot banking sector, the “stability levy” immediately raised a flood of concerns among finance experts over a possible bank run in bigger eurozone economies, where fragile public finances are also under scrutiny.
Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem, after chairing some 10 hours of talks to strike the deal with counterparts including International Monetary Fund head Christine Lagarde and the European Central Bank’s Mario Draghi, said the “upfront, one-off” tax is expected to raise 5.8 billion euros ($7.25 billion) on top of the loans still to be finalised by eurozone parliaments.

We applied to both Justice Ginsberg (who said no) and Justice Scalia (who said yes) to convene a conference of the entire Supreme Court to consider lifting that stay and restoring our injunction. They told us yesterday that they will not lift the stay � indefinite detention under the NDAA stands.

The same Common Law Court that tried and sentenced his predecessor and other church and state officials has today issued an Arrest Warrant against the first Jesuit Pope in history, Jorge Mario Bergoglio.
A signed and sealed copy of the Warrant is attached, and the text follows.
The Argentinian prelate assumed criminal liability and became subject to immediate arrest by occupying the Papal seat in the wake of the conviction of the Vatican as a criminal organization on February 25, 2013.
Bergoglio’s role in the death of Argentinian citizens during that country’s “Dirty War” and in the trafficking of the children of political prisoners also compelled the International Common Law Court of Justice to issue the Warrant today, which is one year in duration.
Italian and Argentinian citizens, and any man or woman, are authorized by the Warrant to be involved in Bergoglio’s public detaining.
“The Pope is the head of a predatory power that is waging an undeclared, centuries-old war against the entire non-Catholic world” commented ITCCS Field Secretary Kevin Annett today in Vancouver, where he delivered a copy of the Arrest Warrant to the Catholic Archdiocese office.
“Since we and our children are being assaulted by a corporation that is a law unto itself, we have the right to defend ourselves and detain or stop altogether those responsible, as in any war”.
A Public Proclamation is being read out in twenty eight countries this week by ITCCS members, publicly banning those church and state officials who cannot be immediately arrested under these Warrants.

I think this has posted before but some people didn’t get it the first time because they still talk as if they really do think the US really still is the land of the free and the home of the brave and they ignore all the myriad signs to the contrary. This transformation has happened in front of everyone’s very eyes and while some of us have noticed most haven’t, preferring instead to concentrate on the media-induced hallucination that everything’s just fine and dandy and it’s all just a bunch of stuff that happened. BREAKING: US DEPLOYS MISSILES In Response To N Korea’s Threats
Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel will announce Friday that the U.S. is deploying 14 new ground-based missile interceptors, probably in Alaska, defense officials told NBC News.

Cabinet minister and former head prefect at St Patrick’s College in Wellington Chris Finlayson will represent the Government at the inauguration mass of Pope Francis I in Rome on March 19.
Mr Finlayson is a regular Sunday mass attendee at St Mary of the Angels Church in Boulcott St.
He described the new pope’s inaugural mass as a momentous occasion for the worldwide Catholic community – including Catholics in New Zealand.
“On behalf of the Government, I wish him the best for his term of office and congratulate the people of Argentina on a hugely significant day in the history of that country,” said Mr Finlayson.

Thanks. At first I was wearing chest high waders and could not work out why I was missing the objective. Even Velcro gloves let me down.
